Chapter 137: Chapter 137: With Volcanion Here, Who Dares Cause Trouble?

"I’m so sorry. My deepest apologies."

The flight attendant repeatedly bowed to Sora.

"Your ticket is a specially issued one. There are only a handful of them in all of Shalour City."

This type of ticket was special.

It wasn’t a one-time pass.

Rather, it functioned more like an identification credential that could be used repeatedly.

The reason Korrina had been able to obtain one was simple:

Shalour Gym owned shares in this luxury liner.

In other words—

Sora was practically riding a private cruise ship.

The ticket inspectors had assumed that the girl mixed in with Sora’s Pokémon was a traveling companion.

That was why they had allowed her aboard.

Who could have guessed that the moment she got on the ship, she would disappear while everyone’s attention was elsewhere?

"P-Please wait a moment."

The attendant hurriedly contacted the ship’s security team before continuing to escort Sora toward his VIP suite.

"Please don’t let the incident trouble you."

"You can trust our security personnel."

"We’ll resolve this matter immediately."

The one making the guarantee was the ship’s first officer—a rugged-looking man in his forties with a powerful build.

"Ah, it’s fine."

Sora shrugged.

"I wasn’t paying attention either. She just found an opening."

"Please don’t say that."

The first officer and several staff members apologized for quite some time before leaving with fury written across their faces.

Naturally—their anger wasn’t directed at Sora.

It was aimed at the mysterious little thief who had snuck aboard.

"Well, this is certainly something..."

After closing the door behind him, Sora let out a helpless sigh.

Who would have thought something like this would happen?

"Ponii..."

Ogerpon sat on the sofa, swinging her little feet.

She also found the whole thing ridiculous.

When that girl had approached them earlier, Ogerpon had simply assumed she was another passenger standing in line.

Who would have expected her to sneak aboard using such a method?

"We got used."

Sora felt somewhat annoyed.

If he found that girl, he fully intended to give her a proper lecture.

Unfortunately—she seemed extremely skilled at hiding.

The moment she boarded, she vanished without a trace.

"Oh well."

Though slightly irritated, Sora didn’t dwell on it.

Instead, he finally took the opportunity to inspect his VIP suite.

The journey to Galar would take four days and three nights.

Meaning he would be spending three nights in this cabin.

And if circumstances allowed—

Sora did have standards when it came to comfort.

And this?

This was excellent.

The suite resembled a presidential suite.

Luxurious furnishings.

Immaculately clean rooms.

Even dedicated facilities and resting areas specifically designed for Pokémon.

"Bini~ Bini~!"

As for Victini—

now that no strangers were around, she dropped her invisibility.

At the moment, she was bouncing gleefully across the massive bed covered in spotless white sheets.

"Ponii?"

"Mana?"

Seeing Ogerpon and Magearna begin looking tempted, Sora quickly intervened.

He was genuinely worried they might accidentally destroy the bed.

At home, letting them play wouldn’t matter.

But while traveling, it was better to remain low-key.

"Ponii..."

"Didoo."

The two little Pokémon weren’t disappointed.

They were good children.

They never intentionally caused trouble for Sora.

"Good girls."

Sora rubbed both of their heads.

Checking the time, he saw it was still far from lunch.

So he decided to take the kids around the cruise ship for a look.

Of course—first, they needed to unpack.

Changes of clothes.

Daily necessities.

Pokémon food.

Training equipment.

Yes.

The VIP suite didn’t merely include a master bedroom.

It also contained a private bath and training room where Pokémon could engage in light exercise.

The ship only prohibited high-destructive-power moves.

Normal activities were completely unrestricted.

"Everyone, come on out."

Since there was more than enough space, Sora released all the Pokémon he had with him.

Soon, the living room was filled with Pokémon playing and running around.

Being surrounded by fluffy companions like this made Sora think yet again:

Being reincarnated into the Pokémon world is seriously amazing.

"Volcanion, you can stay in the bath for the next few days."

The bathroom was enormous.

Even after accommodating Volcanion, more than ninety percent of the space remained free.

"How does it feel?"

"Not bad."

Volcanion began circulating the water through its body.

"There seems to be something mixed into the water."

"It’s unusual."

"But I don’t dislike it."

"That’s good."

Sora noticed that even the bathwater had been specially prepared.

It contained numerous trace minerals beneficial to Water-type Pokémon.

"What extravagance."

Sora shook his head.

"Just keeping this water continuously circulated must cost a fortune."

All he could say was—the lifestyle of rich people in the Pokémon world was beyond anything a country bumpkin like him could imagine.

"Everyone."

"Do you want to stay here and rest, or come explore the ship with me?"

Sora looked around at his Pokémon.

"Vee?"

"Bini..."

Victini was sprawled across a cushion.

She lazily waved a hand.

Having gotten up early that morning, she wanted more sleep.

"Alright."

"And what about you, Ogerpon?"

"Ponii!"

Ogerpon simply wanted to stay with Sora.

Every second.

Without exception.

"You’re really attached to me."

Sora laughed.

"Honestly, I don’t know what I’m going to do with you."

Magearna made the same choice.

That made two.

As for Lilligant—she chose to remain behind and look after the Pokémon Egg.

Amaura still hadn’t fully adapted to the climate around Shalour.

The sea breeze was probably too salty for her liking.

She preferred staying near the bathwater.

"Di!"

Sora picked up the remote control and pressed a button.

A massive screen descended before the bath area and began playing television programs.

"Know how to use this?"

He handed the remote to Buneary.

The little rabbit immediately started flipping through channels with practiced ease.

Clearly, she knew exactly what she was doing.

"Good."

"Then stay here and watch TV for a while."

"I’ll take everyone to the restaurant before dinner."

With that, Sora left the suite accompanied by Ogerpon, Magearna, and Sylveon.

As long as Volcanion was inside—he had absolutely no concerns about the others’ safety.

If someone actually managed to break into his room—he would probably applaud them.

Congratulations.

You’ve successfully chosen death.

Of course, that thought stemmed largely from what had happened earlier.

Someone had followed him aboard and stowed away.

And that left Sora with a distinctly uneasy feeling.
