Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1740: Bidding War

Chapter 1740: Bidding War

"Ten Trillion."

In no time, the bid was raised to ten trillion by a man in VIP room 27. However, he wasn’t done when the bid rose again.

"11 Trillion,"

"11.5 Trillion."

There was no slowing down, not when something this valuable was on the table. If it were before Kent revealed the blacksmith who created the Nine Dragon Whip and awakened the weapon spirits, the maximum price would have been capped at 10 trillion.

However, the weapon being sold now is far too precious.

In fact, even if the person who put it up for sale were here, they would have prevented Lady Wu from auctioning it.

They would have taken it for themselves since, regardless of what one thinks, a living weapon doesn’t require the wielder to know how to handle weapons.

They can fight for themselves, so even someone like the fatty in VIP room 79 would be able to use it since, when in danger, the whip would fight by itself, defending him from all forms of danger.

Because of that, irrespective of the grade of the weapon, whenever one appears at an auction, people wage war over it. Living weapons are always a cause of bidding wars that mostly end in death after the auction.

So, within five minutes, the price had already climbed so high...

"20 Trillion," someone raised the bid from 15 trillion, causing many to fall silent. They recognized that someone with much deeper pockets had stepped into the bidding war.

But he wasn’t the only one with deeper pockets.

Veth, whom Kent had tasked with winning the bid, smiled and called out her bid.

"22 Trillion."

On the stage, Lady Wu looked toward VIP room 13 and smiled.

Hearing one of her sisters’ voices made her happy. If the whip were something her adventurers had found, she would have outright handed it over to Veth now that she realized she needed it.

But unfortunately, Veth would have to win the bid like everyone else.

Meanwhile, Kent was seated between six damsels, one of them already sucking his dick while Pandora was feeding him her breast milk.

While the rooms were protected by soundproof arrays, Veth’s bidding had now deactivated them. However, Pandora merely had to think it, and no sound except Veth’s would go out.

So even if they were to have sex now, nobody would know.

But they were taking things slowly for now since they knew the auction hadn’t even truly begun yet. Seeing that only two of them were having fun, they reclined in their chairs, making Kent lean back.

Yukiko jumped on him and continued to suck his dick while Vexthra went for his balls. Elina, Umai, and Flura would have to wait for their turn. A few seconds later, they ripped Kent’s clothes off and started leaving kiss marks on his body.

Veth turned slightly to see what her sisters were doing. Seeing that she was missing out on some fun, she kept raising the bid, making sure to win while keeping the price fair.

But she underestimated the wealth of some people. The more she raised the bid, the more they countered. Soon, the war heated up, and those who could sense non-verbal threats saw killing intent rising in the air.

Meanwhile, Kent, who was getting attention from his wives, allowed himself to enjoy the moment while his mind went through the memories he had recovered of his life as Fjorge, the Nine Underworld Flame Blacksmith.

He had recovered all the memories of that life. Of course, he knew there might still be a few hidden ones, just like how a few memories of the ruthless bandit had remained hidden until he recovered them when he went to the Star Realm.

The same was true for Chaos, whose memories of the Bone Tempering Art were sealed until Kent obtained the technique himself.

But aside from that, his memories of Fjorge were indeed wild. From when he was just a child to the day he died, his life had been one challenge after another.

He had so much fun in Hell, killing hell demons like it was a normal Tuesday. Then he became a blacksmith, and that trend continued, only this time, instead of killing, he kept creating one treasure after another.

He created thousands of spears, thousands of swords, and many more just because he wanted warriors to have the best weapons when going into battle.

Kent witnessed it all—the times when he was called mad for coming up with ideas many claimed were impossible. Some even claimed his ideas were infeasible, yet by the time they realized it, he had already created it.

His legendary feats, such as creating the Ten Dao Weapons, the 1,000 Deadly Daggers, and many more, were all ideas he came up with but was ridiculed for.

However, his wildest creation idea came when he proposed creating weapons with Resentful Spirits as their weapon spirits.

It was during the Flame War that, after the second wave arrived, the Flame Race managed to devise ways to block the weapon spirits of the soul weapons wielded by the warriors of this universe.

Many died because their weapons failed them.

The Nine Underworld Flame Blacksmith proposed the creation of such dark weapons, but he was called a madman. He laughed and left, then forged the 100 Cursed Weapons anyway.

Later, when the leaders of the universe came begging, he merely laughed and handed them the weapons. They knew the risk of being corrupted by the weapons was high; however, they were desperate, so the weapons were made.

Kent witnessed the climax of the war when Fjorge was locked down by five Pseudo-Primordials and a Primordial.

That moment was his weakest, but it was also the day his breakthrough—or at least a glimpse of the next realm, the Primordial Blacksmith—came to him.

That moment told him everything he had been blind to...

---

"This is your end, barbarian." A bull-like, muscular flame beast in his demi-human form, with a head made of bones engulfed in purple flames, spoke.

"Your universe will fall into the hands of the Eternal Flame Empress, and there is nothing you can ever do about it."

Fjorge, whose body was littered with all kinds of horrific injuries, one eye blinded, raised his head and laughed. He turned and looked at the Purple Flame King, or at least that was what he chose to call him.

"You know what is funny?" Fjorge spat out a mouthful of blood and grinned. "I have been hammering metal ores and skulls for my entire life, but never have I once dared hammer my own skull."

The Purple Flame King narrowed his eyes, and the five Pseudo-Primordials frowned.

Fjorge slowly stood up, stretched his broken arms, and smiled.

"A wise man once said, ’The way beyond is threaded backward.’ In the past, I never understood it until today."

He extended his hand, and the hammer that had accompanied him for a lifetime flew into his grasp.

"I have forged many weapons and dealt with all kinds of weapon spirits, but never have I once dared put a soul into this hammer. Do you know why?"

"You are going to tell me anyway, so why even bother to ask?" the Purple Flame King replied, and Fjorge grinned.

"Indeed, I will tell you."

He looked at the hammer for a few seconds, then smiled one last time.

"I have lived with this hammer for years, treating it as a tool when I should have seen it as a companion."

He sighed before looking at the hammer and declaring,

"I am sorry, buddy. I was blind to the truth, so to make it up to you, I set you free. From this day onward, you shall bear the name Mjönir, the Primordial Hell Damnation Hammer."

Fjorge imbued his soul into the hammer, and then he smashed it into his own head, offering his blood too.

That day, one Primordial and five Pseudo-Primordials died miserably, feeling the wrath of the first Primordial-grade weapon ever forged in the history of this universe.
