Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1893: Blue Horn Tigerkin Ancestor
"An-Ancestor," one of the 10 remaining elders of the Blue Horn Tigerkin Family muttered, his voice breaking as he stared at the middle-aged man who had walked out of the portal.
To many generations of the Blue Horn Tigerkin Family, their infamous ancestor, who walked shoulder to shoulder with the Primordial Chaos Dragon during the Primordial Era, was merely a myth told by their elders.
In fact, after several eras had passed, the people who could boldly say they had met the ancestor could be counted on one hand.
So, expecting him to show up here today wasn’t on any of their to-do lists when they woke up today.
Yet here he was, his striking blonde hair flowing down his back, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips as his deep blue eyes gazed back at Kent.
If one didn’t know better, one would say he had just turned 20.
His appearance and age didn’t align.
But then again, in the world of cultivation, beings billions of years old can sometimes look like a 16-year-old. Preserving one’s youth is something one can easily do if they want to.
Ahead of him, the heavens started preparing to strike in case he dared use his power on anyone. It was clear that he was several times stronger than one would think, perhaps even stronger than the limit the universe had set.
After he was fully out of the void gate, it closed behind him.
All ten elders went down on their knees, and just before they could greet their ancestor, 5 more appeared, followed by a sixth who had the aura of a Primordial.
She went down on her knees and bowed.
"We greet the ancestor."
The others followed in her steps, "We greet the ancestor."
Every last one of them, including the thousands of Blue Horn Tigerkin around the arena, went down on their knees and greeted their ancestor as a show of respect, especially considering the current matriarch of the Blue Horn Tigerkin Family had taken the lead.
Just as they were done greeting, one of the ten elders pointed his finger at Kent, "Ancestor, deal with this bas—"
He wasn’t done with his statement when his body disintegrated into nothingness, leaving nothing but shock behind.
Those who saw what happened stared at the blonde-haired man in shock. All it took was a single glance from him, and a Pseudo-Primordial was reduced to nothing.
Kent smirked and flew much higher into the air, "Looks like your descendants only grew weaker and more useless as the eras passed, Cassius."
The blonde-haired man who went by Cassius smiled and nodded, "It appears so..." He paused and smirked before acknowledging Kent. "Old Friend."
Kent just laughed while the thousands of people gathered, especially the Blue Horn Tigerkins, were stunned, some widening their eyes at the sound of their ancestor calling Kent "Old Friend."
Just what does that mean?
"Old Friend, you say?" Kent laughed. "I suppose you are right to call me that. After all, we fought side by side back in the day. Which is also why I held back and didn’t slaughter your descendants.
However, it goes without saying, they had offended someone they shouldn’t have. In fact, right now, there is a chance every last one of them will be reduced to blood mist when she wakes up.
I don’t want that to happen, and you sure don’t want it to happen, so what can you do or say to help me convince her when she wakes up?
I don’t know where you are now, but the fact that you were able to send a clone over on such short notice shows you are not far from the universe, and so you probably know what the Blood Harvester is capable of?"
Cassius nodded, a sigh escaping his lips.
He indeed had some idea of what would happen when Eliza, or as she was known far and wide, the Blood Harvester, woke up; things would be super difficult for his descendants.
But did he even care what happened to them?
Maybe not.
However, he wasn’t the only one to survive the Primordial Era and form a family. If they were wiped out right now, it would stain his reputation.
So, inasmuch as he was disappointed in his descendants, he knew he had to step in and save them.
"I know pleading for their lives isn’t something I should be doing. They bear my name, but they aren’t me, so their life and death shouldn’t be determined by me.
However, for the sake of our shared camaraderie, I would ask that you offer mercy this once. I am willing to bargain for their lives with this."
He waved his hand, and a pill bottle holding a golden substance flew toward Kent. He caught it and then, using the Eye of Chaos, he scanned it.
[You have discovered a Primordial Grade Blood Essence]
Kent’s brow furrowed. "Oh, you came prepared."
Cassius smiled. "Knowing your opponent is half the battle won."
"That is indeed true. However, as to whether she accepts this will depend on her, though I can say with this, she will be a bit merciful."
"As long as she doesn’t lay waste to my descendants, I don’t really care what she does with them. But for the sake of what we shared in the past, I do hope you will say something for me, Old Friend."
Kent laughed, but he nodded. "Fear not, I always treat people who stand for what is right as friends. At the end of the day, there is a chance we will fight side by side once again, so the last thing I want is to get on your bad side."
Cassius smiled and nodded...
Then he turned and looked at the matriarch of the Blue Horn Tigerkin Family...
"Let this be the first and last warning. If you somehow survive this ordeal, you will ensure that anyone, irrespective of how insignificant they are, as long as they have my blood flowing through them, behaves themselves.
All who step out of line will have their cultivation crippled and bloodline stripped, forever destined to rot in hell."
