A very long time ago, a crack like this appeared in the clouds, and from within came five people who called themselves Blood Messengers.

They came from the Blood Realm, or as they referred to it, the Nine Savage Heavens.

They came with a message: an invasion that later nearly swallowed the entire universe. Kent was there, from the little he could remember, and so was Blood Harvester, who could actually remember everything.

Right now, as she gazed at the nine people, each bearing the aura of a Primordial, appearing from the crack, her expression turned pale, for she knew what followed.

The nine people walked out, each holding a flag bearing the same insignia: two shattered skulls and a jaw in the middle.

After the last of them appeared, they turned their gazes toward Cassius, for he was the strongest so far, and they could sense that. However, instead of addressing him, they turned and faced Eliza...

"Looks like the reports were wrong. You are still alive, Blood Harvester," one of them, a baldy with a rather large belly, said, his dark eyes narrowing at Eliza.

"Looks like your reports were indeed wrong. After all, I still live and would probably be there when we slaughter your kind the next time we meet on the battlefield."

The big-bellied Blood Messenger laughed, not even angry at the provocative words said by Eliza...

"Indeed, you have the right to say those words. After all, when you faced the first five Savage Heavens, you managed to kill quite a number of them. But that was then, because now, there is no telling if you can withstand even a single blow from me or any of my comrades."

Eliza scanned the nine people, and indeed, she knew deep in her heart she could not fight any of them, even if she put everything she had into the battle.

Perhaps, if she were a Primordial, she would have had a chance to turn things around.

"But you have nothing to worry about since we didn’t come here to fight."

One of the nine Blood Messengers, a fella with crimson angel-like wings, stepped forward and produced a scroll. He bit the tip of his finger and let the blood drop onto the scroll.

It unfurled, and with it, a mysterious power unleashed a chilling aura that everyone felt deep in their bones...

[They are broadcasting to the entire universe,]

Tower said to Kent, who merely nodded but said nothing. He looked at the scroll that had now unfurled and sighed, knowing the universe was in danger and that the danger was now being broadcast to everyone, from the Celestial Realm to the Middle Worlds.

"People of the Infinity Universe, this is a combined message from the Nine Savage Heaven Monarchs. Several eras ago, we fought and lost to the warriors of this universe.

It was a disgrace to our kind, and that defeat has since plagued us. However, after eras of trying and failing, we have finally returned, and this time, we came with a challenge, one that will determine the fate of this universe and the Nine Savage Heavens.

100 years from today, the Blood & Death Arena will descend. When it does, it will appear in the realm boundary where, under the guidance of the Primordial Order, we will officially challenge the Infinity Universe to Ten Death Duels.

7 Pseudo-Primordials and 3 Primordials from both realms will fight to the death. After ten battles, the one with the highest number of wins will gain the authority to rule the loser.

This means that if the Nine Savage Heavens win, the Infinity Universe is ours to rule, and this will be enforced by the Primordial Order. This also means that if you win, we will forever become your servants.

That is all, and good luck, for you are going to need it."

The scroll closed and shot toward Eliza, who caught it...

"This scroll must be delivered to the one they call the Blood Spear King. He is to sign it with his blood and accept the call when the 100 years are up.

Until then, good luck, and may fortune smile on you."

With mocking smiles on their faces, they turned and walked back into the crack, vanishing from sight. Kent watched them leave, his fists clenched.

Everything that had just happened was clearly not normal.

He was happy to have his stepsister and one of the most capable warriors he had ever commanded back from the dead... literally, only for him to be disturbed by a challenge that he was sure had already sparked chaos on every cultivation planet in the universe.

’This is bad... really bad.’

The challenge will happen as planned, and aside from himself, he knew he had to find nine more who would represent the universe.

He knew that when the time came, the major powers in the universe would have no say. It would fall on the shoulders of the Blood Spear King.

He is that person, and inasmuch as he would love to push the responsibility onto someone else, the fate of the universe is at hand, so he cannot fail.

’Aside from me and Kaizo, I need 8 more who are willing to die for the universe.’

He has people, but at the same time, he didn’t want to pick any of them, except Kaizo, who he knew would not even allow him to back down from this fight.

There are the likes of Ruby, Eliza, Pandora, and many others, but can he really send them into battle when he has no idea what the Nine Savage Heavens have planned this time around?

For all he knew, this was merely a trap that, if he didn’t plan well, would swallow him and the universe in one gulp.

’Looks like the Blood Spear King has to return once again, and this time, he must finish what he started during the Blood Era.’

Kent turned to Cassius. "Thanks for the assist earlier on; however, it appears we have to part ways here, seeing as the universe is now on a ticking time bomb."

"It appears so. Until next time, then." Cassius dissolved into mist and vanished.

"Eliza, time to leave."
