Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1898: Chaotic Moments (2)
A portal opened at the center of the room, and three people walked out—Kent, Ruby and Eliza, the Blood Harvester.
The moment they appeared, everyone went on high alert, some even pulling out their weapons.
"Who are you three, and how dare you invade this sacred hall?" Mythos shouted, the aura of a Primordial flaring. All 13, including the Celestial Supreme, did the same.
They are all Primordials.
However, despite their superior cultivation, none of the three people showed any sign of being suppressed. That was easily noticed by the 13 elders and the Celestial Supreme.
They sensed something wasn’t right, especially with Kent, whose hair was now crimson, his eyes blood-red, and a wave of blood Qi emanating from his body.
He had taken on the appearance of the Blood Spear King, fully embodying everything there was about him.
Ruby and Eliza were Pseudo-Primordials, each possessing an aura that would make Primordials second-guess themselves.
However, as they looked at the three, Kent, whose cultivation base was a mystery, turned out to be the most dangerous one. They could all sense it; the aura coming from his body wasn’t one they could underestimate.
And while his cultivation base remained a mystery, they knew that he wasn’t being affected by their aura, meaning he wasn’t afraid of them.
But even if Kent was a mystery, they recognized one of them, and it was none other than Eliza, the Blood Harvester.
"It is you... The Blood Harvester," Seraphyra, the Phoenix Celestial Elder, said, drawing everyone’s attention to Eliza...
"My name is Eliza, and yes, I am the Blood Harvester." A grin formed on her face. "I couldn’t help but overhear someone say they would snatch this scroll from my unreliable hands. Well then, I am here. Who wants to try?"
Her words echoed across the hall, causing many to shift in their chairs. To them, the fate of the universe was what she held in her hand.
Since they considered themselves the rulers of the universe, even though none of them said it, they wished to be the ones to handle the challenge 100 years from now.
Leaving it in the hands of the Blood Spear King wasn’t something they were willing to do.
At least one of them had the guts to say it.
"Yes, leaving the scroll in your hands isn’t something beneficial to the universe. Maybe in the past you would have been the right person to have it. But things are different now, and so I believe the Universe Council should have it," Nerathis, the Sea Celestial Elder, said, giving the others the confidence to speak as well.
"I think so too. The Blood Challenge Scroll should belong in the capable hands of the Universe Council."
"I second that."
"Me too."
Eliza smiled and looked at the faces of every elder who spoke. "Is that so?" She grinned.
"In that case, how about if it is in his hands?" She handed over the scroll to Kent, who received it, his expression still calm, though one could sense the blood-chilling aura resting right beneath it.
"Who are you?" Mythos asked, his eyes narrowing at Kent.
Inasmuch as he would love to hold himself back, he believed that if they had the scroll, then they could save the universe 100 years from now.
Kent turned and looked at him for a few seconds before he spoke. "I am the Blood Spear King. Do you have any problem with me having this scroll?"
His words caused everyone to widen their eyes.
None of them, not even the Celestial Supreme, saw that coming. They all thought that the Blood Spear King had long left this universe, since that was what most powerhouses from the bygone eras had done.
So, when the same person they had all been concerned about now stood before them, some immediately started to doubt him.
"How sure are we that you are indeed the Blood Spear King?" Aurelius, the Human Celestial Elder, asked.
In response, Kent bit the tip of his finger and let a drop of his blood fall on the scroll.
"BOOOM"
A powerful explosion of aura came from the scroll, causing everyone except Kent to take a few steps back. From the scroll, a wave of red mist moved and formed into a bone head.
"Hahahahahahaha, Blood Spear King, we meet again," the bone head spoke.
"Durhan, looks like you are still alive. How unfortunate."
"Hahaha, Blood Spear King, you think a spear through the chest is enough to kill me? You must be delusional thinking such a thing was possible."
Kent smiled and said, "At least I enjoyed it very much. And when we meet again, I will make sure you die for real."
"Until then, Blood Spear King. Now that you have accepted the challenge, I do hope when the time comes, you won’t chicken out."
The bone head looked around, almost as if he were looking at bugs.
"Hahahaha, I am going to enjoy killing you all." He turned and looked back at Kent. "If the ten you will be presenting are from this bunch, then you might as well hand over the universe to us and be done with it."
Perhaps to leave Kent without a chance to say something else, his laughter grew more annoying as he faded out of existence.
It was after he was gone that everyone could sigh in relief.
Kent looked at the 14 people gathered in the hall and smiled. "That was the kind of horror we faced during the Blood War. He goes by Durhan, the 4th Blood Savage Heaven General.
"As you all have felt, he is a menace, and 100 years from now, he will come, representing his race. Now, I am here to let you know that I will handle everything related to the challenge.
"Your mission is to ensure that, while the challenge is underway, the Blood Race won’t do anything funny. I have fought them, and I know the kind of monsters they are, so prepare."
The Celestial Supreme narrowed his eyes. "Are you saying we are not qualified to represent the universe?"
Kent turned and looked at him. "Inasmuch as I would love to be polite about it, the answer is yes. None of you qualify, so don’t stand in my way."
He was gone, Ruby and Eliza following.
"See you later, losers." Eliza, of course, made sure she poured salt in their wounds.
