Chapter 1904: Their Insidious Plans

[A week after Kent and Alina left - Tower Time]

A week after Kent and Alina left for the Flame Paradise, his wives, including those who had yet to join and those who were not sure yet, met in the Harem Tower to plan some missions.

In attendance was also the Second Flame Matriarch, who, after she defeated Ruby, had been meditating inside the Legion Tower.

The ladies knew she didnt follow Kent out of goodwill, so they allowed her to be. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

She didn’t even bother to comment on the challenge the Blood Race had thrown at the Infinity Universe. To her, if Kent were to die in that challenge, she would finally be free.

But despite her dislike for Kent, she found herself getting drawn into the shenanigans of his wives, especially after they deliberately waited for Kent to leave before they put their insidious plans into motion.

They knew if Kent were around, he wouldn’t allow them to do that. So they waited for him to leave before making their move.

"Now that it is just us here, we can set our plans in motion," Vexthra said, raising one finger. "First of all, we have to go to the Celestial Realm to help Meiko look for her sister. Then, when that is handled, we will head over to the Underworld, where our main mission is."

She scanned her sisters’ faces before adding, "I would like to stress that this mission is one that, if Kent knew about it, he would be very angry, so aside from us, until we are sure everything is in place, we cannot tell him."

They all nodded, every last one of them knowing they were doing something bad for a good reason.

Vexthra turned to Safira. "You said your leader is on the side of good, right?"

Safira nodded and answered, "Yes, my leader wants to make peace with the Universe. However, since we all bear the bloodline of the Forsaken Race, the spell that restricted us to our worlds has also affected us.

However, if we can reach an agreement with the rulers of this universe, I am sure we can reach some kind of compromise."

Vexthra and her sisters nodded.

Their mission this time involved meeting with the leader of the Forsaken Snow Tribe to see if they could broker a meeting between her and Kent.

They, of course, chose to do this thanks to having Fiannarel on their side. She was an Eternal, so regardless of how strong this Forsaken leader was, they knew she wouldn’t be stronger than Fiannarel.

Meaning, even if it was a trap, they would be fine.

Then again, they knew she was somewhere in the Underworld, and since the Underworld now had an empress who happened to be their sister, they wouldn’t be in much danger even if Fiannarel was weaker than her.

The Underworld answered to Indie, so they were safe on that side.

"I would like to know what any of this has to do with me," the Second Flame Matriarch suddenly asked, a frown appearing on her face.

Pandora turned and looked at her, "You are now connected to Kent, whether you like it or not. And while I know deep within your heart you wish for him to die so you can be free, that will never happen. He is unkillable, so you might as well get used to your life now.

That said, since you are now here, why not make good use of it and explore? You might just find this universe more pleasing to you than even your own realm."

A chuckle escaped the Second Flame Matriarch’s lips. "I have no plans to explore this realm since it wouldn’t benefit me in any way. The last time I checked, the Underworld had no empress, leading to most of its hidden realms shutting down. Even if I wished to go there, nothing would make me love it there."

Pandora and her sisters looked at the arrogant lady and laughed...

"News flash, Madam All High and Mighty, the Underworld Empress has returned, and in case you are not aware, she is one of our sisters. In fact, the Underworld is our second home," Val sneered and smirked, causing the Second Flame Matriarch to frown.

Val isn’t one to polish her words before speaking them. She says it how she feels, and right now, she wishes to speak her mind to the Second Flame Matriarch, who thinks she is superior to them.

"You all know we can just leave her here. She can stay here with her boring self," Mara stepped in, and soon, the rest of her sisters started to voice out their unfiltered opinions.

In the end, the Second Flame Matriarch had to accept defeat. "Fine, I will go with you. But if there is danger, don’t expect me to save your asses."

"We shall see who will be needing saving," Ruby said with a grin, making sure the Second Flame Matriarch knew her win was only temporary.

The two locked in a staring contest for a few seconds before they both smirked and turned away...

Selene saw this, and a mischievous smile appeared on her face.

Vexthra saw the smile on her face and immediately recognised what was going through her head. ’Ah well, she is doomed,’ she pitied the arrogant Flame Matriarch, who thought that just because, in the past, her name struck fear in the hearts of many, she could look down on everyone.

Selene is always looking for one hard nut that thinks they can’t be cracked. She had set her sights on the Second Flame Matriarch, and soon, she would make her move.

"By the way, do you have a name or something? Calling you the Second Flame Matriarch each time is a bit of a mouthful," Unity asked, her eyes narrowing a bit.

The Second Flame Matriarch looked at the sweet lady whom even she couldn’t bring herself to hate, and after a few internal struggles, she revealed her name...

"You can call me Estella."

"Estella, such a beautiful name." Unity smiled and moved closer, and took the Second Flame Matriarch’s hands into hers. "Let’s go get you something better to wear."

Maybe Estella could have struggled. But Unity never even let her process anything, since before she could, Unity had already dragged her away.

Three days later, they left the tower.
