Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1949: Complete Annihilation (2)
"Well, I killed him, but he isn’t really dead. His Primordial soul managed to escape, but he won’t be a bother for a while," Sect Master Zhai said, throwing Lord Weyori’s head toward Ruby.
"I am disappointed in you, Zhai. You should have succeeded in killing him at least," Ruby said with a smirk, knowing she wouldn’t have let the bastard slip away.
"Well, he is rather good at soul arts, so don’t blame me. But at least he can’t forge a new Primordial body for who knows how long. So even if you plan to attack the Weyori Great Family, he can’t do anything to anyone unless, of course, he wants to risk dying for real this time."
Everyone seemed to understand what he meant, so they didn’t seem disappointed with his performance. Well, Ruby, who knew what Sect Master Zhai was capable of during the Flame Era, smirked.
She knew that if Sect Master Zhai wanted to, the old bastard would have died.
Still, they were one Primordial short to make things hard for them, and that was great. Luckily, the battle had already come to an end.
Every last member of the Grim Arcane Legends lay dead. The only ones still standing were the undead that Princess Dominique and Veera had awakened.
Now that the battle was over, the undead were going around picking the more powerful warriors to add to their ranks. Of course, Princess Dominique was moving much faster than Veera simply because she was a Primordial, and Veera was just a Demigod.
But regardless of that, they had both made a bountiful harvest this time.
Aside from them, Yi Lai, the Undead Dragon Necromancer, had also captured 5 Pseudo-Primordials, 100 Celestials, and 500 Supremes she planned on sending into the Dragon Ascension Realm.
If they managed to pass the trial, they would return as loyal dragons who would serve under the authority of the Undead Dragon Necromancer.
Then there was Neveross, who had already started refining the souls he had harvested. Not far from him, Shade King Nykali had also started refining his Soul Wraiths.
With the influx of souls that they had accumulated, the two just couldn’t wait any longer to get things started.
Luckily for them, too, they had the means to hold as many souls hostage as they wanted. It was like this battle had been arranged for the two of them to reap some benefits.
But they weren’t the only ones who had benefited.
Zaila now stood facing a lineup of close to 10,000 Supremes, 2,000 Celestials, and 10 Pseudo-Primordials, all enthralled and under her control.
Initially, she could take no more than 2 Pseudo-Primordials and between 500 and 1,000 Celestials. However, she had made some progress after her breakthrough, allowing her to raise a rather terrifying unit of warriors who weren’t in any way weak.
Then there was Adina, whose legion of Charmed Ones even surpassed Zaila’s.
She had, with support from her Charmed Ones, mesmerized more warriors to the point that, as she stood there gazing at the tens of thousands of warriors now forever hers to command, one could tell she had made significant progress.
They had all done well, but some gained more from this, meaning in their next battle, they would have a much easier time since their warriors would do all the fighting for them.
Crimson Dagger had also received word from the second team of Midnight Shadows, who had attacked the second outpost. In that battle, they lost three Shadows, and over 400 were injured.
However, they managed to kill every last member of the Grim Arcane Legends.
The loss of three Shadows was sad, but they managed to win and avenge them.
As was tradition, if they had families, the Midnight Shadows would protect and cater for them forever. It was a rule set by the Faceless Assassin, and so they would abide by it forever.
On one side, Vexthra and some of her sisters and members of the legion stood staring at three battlefield disks hovering in the air.
The last three remaining battles were being fought by Han, Eliza, and Pandora.
"Big brother will surely kill his opponent no matter what."
Baldy, of course, remained as enthusiastic as ever. He never for a moment doubted Han. In fact, he believed Han had already won and had just decided to remain inside the battlefield matrix for the time being.
He couldn’t be far from the truth, though.
A few minutes after Baldy said those words, Han appeared, his face and entire body covered in blood. He had some cuts on his skin, but considering his blood was silver and the blood on his body was red, it was clear whose blood that was.
Han tossed Monarch Aethros out, still breathing but knocked out cold.
"No matter how hard I tried, he just wouldn’t die," Han said, letting out a sigh.
From the start of the battle to the end, he had stayed a step ahead. It was only possible because he made sure his nature as an Eternal Grade sword intent stay active.
He didn’t allow even a slight mistake to impede his movement.
Every attack was executed flawlessly, and when it came to the domain, he made sure Monarch Aethros felt helpless as a mortal, immortal, God, and, finally, that he couldn’t continue fighting anymore at the Supreme stage.
Now he was back at the Primordial stage, but since injuries dealt by Han, regardless of a person’s level, even if they recovered their cultivation base, the injuries would remain severe.
So an injury dealt to his body when he was a God would remain that severe even after he had regained his cultivation as a Primordial.
The sheer level of understanding one had to have in their Domains, which comprised their Law and Dao, requires billions of practice and refinement.
Han had already comprehended his own Dao, so he was able to match Monarch Aethros in combat.
However, he won because of his years of accumulated battle experience.
"Big brother Han, give him to me. He will become a fine Charmed One," Adina immediately called dibs on Monarch Aethros, who at the moment had lost the will to even live.
The only person who could nurse him back to life was, of course, the Succubus Queen.
