Chapter 40: Chapter 40| Lesson One R18+

The bath was still running behind them.

Steam climbed the mirror in slow, silent ribbons and the water level crept up the porcelain like it had somewhere to be. Neither of them said anything. The unit held its quiet around them. That particular hush of a place that had heard worse arguments and better apologies and didn’t care to weigh in on either.

Damian glanced at her body, her big boobs revealed while she was still on black pants.

Sable took his hand again, the same way she’d taken it in the doorway. With unhurried certainty and reached past him to twist the taps shut. The silence after was different. Heavier. The kind you could lean your weight against.

"We’re partners," she said quietly.

"Partners," he confirmed.

The bath waited. The steam settled. The unit held its quiet.

Sable tilted her head, studying him the way she studied a contract before she signed it. Then, flat and level:

"We need to get your clothes off, novice."

The word landed somewhere under his ribs. He opened his mouth. Nothing useful came out.

Her fingers found the hem of his shirt before he’d finished failing to speak. She pulled it up and over in one clean motion, and it joined the floor somewhere behind her. She’d thrown it toward the door like a thing dismissed. Then down. Knuckles brushing his stomach on the way, a ripple of contact that made him suck in air he didn’t need.

His trousers went next. One yank at the waistband, one shove past his hips, and they were gone with the rest.

She stepped back a half pace and looked at his boxers.

Then at the shape of his dick beneath them.

Something in her expression flickered, not disappointment exactly. Assessment. A craftsman taking measure of the job.

"Hmm." She pressed two fingers to the fabric in that location, gentle enough to be polite, firm enough to be a question. Nothing answered back. "Even with my boobs all flaunted out. Seems we have some work to do."

Damian’s face had gone the color of the radiator in the corner. He stared down at her from his full height like a man watching weather he couldn’t outrun.

She didn’t rush it. That was the thing. She knelt like she had all the hours in the world and reached up, hooked her thumbs into the waistband, and drew the boxers down his thighs. He stepped out of them without being told. His cock hung there in its natural state quiet, unbothered, oblivious to the occasion.

Water from the still-steaming shower sprinkled down on both of them from a distance, cool flecks against hot skin, and neither of them flinched.

She took him in her hand.

Not a grip. A hold. Loose, warm, moving with a slow rhythm that had nothing to do with wanting and everything to do with waking something up. Her thumb slid along the underside and he made a sound he clearly hadn’t planned on making.

"Fuck," Damian breathed.

He said it like the word had just been invented for this exact purpose. Like no one had ever said it right before him.

She kept stroking. Slow, then slower, then a twist at the top that made the muscles in his thighs jump. His head tipped back. Water beaded on her shoulders and ran down her collarbone in a thin line.

Then his dick twitched.

Once. Twice. Blood moving in, gravity shifting, the whole geometry of him changing in her palm. She felt it thicken against her fingers and something in her chest unclenched.

There it was.

She leaned forward and took him into her mouth. All the way to the hilt in one unhurried motion. No ceremony, no preamble, just heat and wet and the flat of her tongue pressed hard against the shaft on the way down.

A sound came out of him that wasn’t quite a word.

Her hands slid around behind him and gripped his ass with both palms. She set the pace with her arms, not her neck. Pushing him forward and pulling him back so the motion drove his cock in and out of her mouth in a rhythm he couldn’t fight because he wasn’t the one steering.

The drag on the way out. The swallow on the way in. Steam curling around both of them, the shower still ticking water onto their backs like slow applause.

"Fuck," Damian said again. "I’m... fuck, I’m..."

She didn’t slow down. Her fingers tightened on his ass, digging in, holding him right where she wanted him while her tongue did something at the ridge that made his knees lock.

He came.

Hot and sudden, spilling across her face. Her cheek, the corner of her mouth, her chin, one stripe catching the bridge of her nose before she tipped her head back. His whole body locked up above her, hands fisted at his sides like a man afraid to touch anything that might break.

The shower kept ticking. The mirror kept fogging. Sable stayed on her knees a moment, feeling his hand finally come up to brace on the edge of the sink for balance, and then she wiped her lip with the back of her knuckle and looked up at him.

"That," she said, evenly, "was lesson one."

Damian stared down at her. Steam rolled between them in slow, thick ropes. He still hadn’t caught his breath, chest moving hard, cock still twitching against his thigh, and her face still glistening under the bathroom light like she’d been out in rain.

"For the record," she added, rising to her feet, "the bath’s still full."

She stepped past him toward the door.

"We’ll finish. Then we’ll talk about lesson two."

Damian caught her wrist before she reached the door.

Not hard. Just a loop of fingers around bone, a question she could choose to answer or ignore. She stopped but didn’t turn around, and he watched the muscles in her back shift as she waited.

"I need a minute," he said. His voice still had gravel in it, the rough edge of a man who’d just had the floor pulled out from under him. "To catch up."

Sable looked over her shoulder. Her face was still wet. His cum drying in a shine along her jaw, a smear he couldn’t stop staring at. She let him look.

"Take your minute," she said. "But I’m getting in that bath whether you’re ready or not."

She slipped her wrist free, pulled her pants and her underwear and threw them out of the bathroom. She walked the rest of the way to the tub. Steam curled around her calves as she stepped over the rim, water sloshing warm against her shins, her thighs, her hips. She sat down with a sigh that softened something in her shoulders.

The water settled around her. The quiet settled around him.

Damian followed her with his eyes, still naked, still half-hard, and slowly his hand found the edge of the sink again, not for balance this time. Just to hold something solid while the rest of him recalibrated.
