Chapter 3034: Chapter 80: Divine Emperor Taoist Master! I, East Xia’s Crouching Dragon and Phoenix Chick_3

"Enough!" Wang Shouzhe said, clutching his forehead, "Senior, your identity..."

"Shouzhe, shut your mouth." Taoist Master Taichu raised his hand to stop him, "I also want to hear it. This little girl’s hidden identity, could it frighten me to death?"

Wang Mei glanced at Wang Shouzhe secretively and, seeing the Family Head nod his head in helpless agreement, looked at Taoist Master Taichu with dissatisfaction: "Listen well, my father is called [Yu Chi Potian], the previous direct disciple Saint of Dongxia Taichu Dao Palace. My mother was the former Saintess of the Blissful Divine Religion, [Purple Luanbird Saintess]..."

Before she could finish speaking.

Taoist Master Taichu almost spat out a mouthful of blood.

He widened his eyes, staring intently at Wang Mei: "You, you, you, what did you say? You are Potian’s daughter?"

Wang Mei was also startled by Taoist Master Taichu’s reaction.

She frowned and looked at him with a perplexed gaze: "You... so excited? Could it be, you know my ’father’?"

Not only knowing?

He used to be this Taoist Master’s very beloved direct disciple~

Taoist Master Taichu looked at Wang Mei with a gaze full of complexity, and a dawning realization appeared in his expression: "I remembered. I said why did I find you so familiar before, so it is, so it is... Wait, that girl Purple Luanbird, wasn’t she already killed by The Blissful Master? How could she and Potian have a daughter?"

"First, my ’mother’ Purple Luanbird Saintess is not dead, she was only imprisoned by The Blissful Master on the Soul Devouring Cliff, I will rescue her sooner or later," Wang Mei said coldly, "Second, when I was born is none of your business?"

This is one advantage that Wang Mei has, once she gets into character, she becomes lost in the role, performing even more truthfully than reality.

"What do you mean it’s none of my business? I am your father’s Master, you should call me Master-grandfather." Taoist Master Taichu got a little anxious again.

Suddenly, as if he thought of something, his eyes sharpened: "Before it all happened, Potian seemed to have a period of secluded life with Purple Luanbird. Could it be, you were born during that time?"

"..."

Wang Mei was immediately surprised into silence.

She never imagined that this seemingly ordinary "tribute old servant" was actually her "father’s" master. Isn’t he then Taoist Master Taichu?

This really has turned into concocting lies and boasting only to run into someone who knows the truth.

In fact, even Wang Mei hasn’t been able to investigate clearly whether Yu Chi Potian and the Purple Luanbird Saintess had a daughter.

Based on the collected data, it’s more likely that they didn’t. She merely fabricated and borrowed this identity.

Even she did not expect, unexpectedly it was filled in by this old servant, oh, no, by Taoist Master Taichu himself with the missing piece.

"Cough, cough!"

Wang Shouzhe finally couldn’t help but interrupt their conversation.

He had almost choked on his tea several times, and if the two continued talking, the whole matter might become inexplicable.

He mediated: "Senior Hongzhen, actually the matter is not as you imagine. This is merely a plan, in truth Wang Mei..."

However, before he could finish speaking, Taoist Master Taichu interrupted him with a raised brow and stern eyes: "I object! Shouzhe, I strongly oppose you using Potian and the Purple Luanbird girl’s daughter to execute your cunning plot."

At this point, Taoist Master Taichu was completely convinced by Wang Shouzhe.

He had clearly been living with Wang Shouzhe and his senior sister in the same place for all this time, watching as Wang Shouzhe lounged at home every day, seemingly doing nothing, yet how did he manage to plot all the way to the distant Southern Blaze Divine Continent?

Also, how did he find Potian’s daughter and use this identity to devise a series of cunning plans?

This kid is indeed too insidious, too shrewd!

No wonder the senior sister was caught by him.

"In fact, Wang Mei is not Yu Chi Potian’s daughter, this was all part of our plan." Wang Shouzhe sighed and said the truth reluctantly to prevent Senior Hongzhen from getting too engrossed in the role.

Actually, the origin of this plan started with [Wang Baoguang].

To say nothing of other things, Wang Baoguang’s ability for gossip, as well as his exploration and investigation of hidden events, even Wang Shouzhe admired tremendously.

Initially, it was Wang Baoguang who discovered a deeply hidden secret from many years ago in [Taoist Palace Taichu]. It turns out that before Yin Lingzhu, there was another very beloved direct disciple of the Taoist Master Taichu—[Yu Chi Potian].

Yu Chi Potian was from an ordinary Immortal Clan. Although not as outstanding in talent as Yin Lingzhu or Wang Baosheng, he was nevertheless gifted, and had already cultivated to the peak of the True Immortal Realm.

At that time, although he hadn’t yet been fixed upon for the mantle of the Dao, within Dao Palace his reputation was very high.

If nothing unexpected happened, or if no one with supreme talents appeared later, certainly Taoist Master Taichu would have him suppress his cultivation at the peak of the True Immortal Realm for some time, waiting for the Dao Book’s energy to accumulate. Once the timing was right, he would pass the [Taichu Dao Book] to him.

And that time wouldn’t have been long.

But unfortunately, the unexpected did happen.

During one mission, Yu Chi Potian crossed paths with the Purple Luanbird Saintess of the Southern Blaze Blissful Divine Religion, and after a contest and fierce fight, both of them disappeared for a period of time after encountering danger.

During those short twenty years of disappearance, what exactly took place, neither party disclosed, outsiders naturally knew nothing, but everyone understood that within those twenty years, certain pivotal events occurred, which led to the subsequent developments.
