[R18] King's Domination
Chapter 387: Annihilating the Wyverns?
Near the carriage there was the clan chief rolling having vomited. While looking at that sideways we moved and Sandy dived into the carriage.
"This!"
What Sandy held out was a bow slender overall. It looks a thing that cannot be called a strong bow at all. She understood I was perplexed I suppose, Sandy,
"When drawing they say you put mana into the bow. Then they say you can release an arrow at an eye-opening speed!"
"Is that so!?"
"I have heard so. I have a memory of hearing Lady Sonia say so! Please try it."
Sandy said it with a smile bathed in wyvern blood. For a try I nock an arrow on the bow, while praying mana flows into the bow I draw the string and released it toward the wyvern hovering around Agnes.
Zudoon!!
It hit the root of the wyvern’s neck comfortably. An arrow flies drawing an arc but it flew almost in a straight line. No need to correct aim, if you aim and shoot as it is it is fine. The wyvern my arrow hit grew unsteady and gradually came down. Aiming at that the knights thrust with spears. Coming that far it is already ours! They gathered and started stabbing with spears.
Paan!!
When I look the direction the sound happened Her Majesty was gripping the chest of the clan chief lying down. Looking at Her Majesty’s posture somehow Her Majesty seems to have slapped the clan chief’s cheek.
"Wake up! Fight! Are you drinking yourself under while making your subordinates fight!"
she says and slaps the cheek paan once more. Such a good sound happens!? a good sound to be impressed by. Even though Her Majesty is disciplining? the clan chief no one tries to stop her. Continuing paan, paan she slaps the clan chief’s cheek. Her Majesty too is bathed in wyvern blood so the expression yaksha seems to fit. She raises the outer corners of her eyes and with a demonic feeling slaps the clan chief’s cheek. The clan chief’s cheek grew red and started swelling.
Because no one stops it cannot be helped,
"Um Your Majesty, it would be better to stop about there..."
When I timidly set about stopping Her Majesty turned toward me and became a smile. But scary.
"If Robbie says so I will stop."
Her Majesty said and tossed the clan chief poi, into the vomit.
"Then do it!"
Her Majesty orders me full of confidence.
"Yes."
I answer and shoot an arrow toward the wyvern diving at us! I shoot toward the inside of that opened mouth! The power of the arrow is wonderful and the arrow pierced through! Perhaps surprised the wyvern raised its head a little. When I shoot an arrow into that mouth the wyvern’s movement stopped and it crashed as it is! Did the arrow pass to the brain? Or did it do something to the nerves around the neck bones?
The wyverns above my head grew noisy. They are crying gyaa gyaa. Are they consulting among companions?
"Lord Marie, please shoot them down! Then we will clean up!!"
Agnes shouted. You say it easily but a wyvern that fell to the ground, if you gather numbers anyone can exterminate it. I shout that kind of thing inside my heart.
The knights who soiled themselves while crawling forward with backsides out gradually gathered. There are ones with diarrhea still stuck but there is one who can use "Purification" and they are cleaning the backsides. But it still smells. Agnes drew near too but Agnes is taking distance.
The wyverns were circling above but at last they dived all at once. However many come, so they do not collide with the ground they always slow speed and a time of hovering comes. Just before that is the aiming point.
Even if the wyverns all at once, because individual speeds differ a difference naturally arises. Aiming at that I shoot arrows. This time arrows arrive with enough power. For some reason accuracy has risen too. And the relative speed from the wyverns’ dive has risen. The first shot hits the lead wyvern. Because it is straight on it jumps in from mouth to throat and into the gut. It does not seem to have become damage so I shoot in succession. That wyvern’s wing movement slowed and it stopped moving. Seeing that I shoot at the next wyvern. It is a little distant so the head can be aimed. An arrow sticks in the top of the head. Next it sticks in the brow. I am roughly aiming but the arrows seem to be sucked in. Is this after all the bow’s ability? The following wyverns hesitate. But aiming at that I throw arrows in. They miss the head and even so hit shoulder, neck, back. The hit place was good I suppose, that one too came crashing.
The remaining wyverns stop the dive and try to rise once more but that is counterproductive and only makes them easier targets. Anyway I shoot. It hits the gut but the gut does not become a fatal wound. I shoot aiming at the heart but I cannot hit that precisely. Has concentration already broken? It has become an arrow daruma yet the wyvern flaps trying to rise. But it gradually came down. Two more? Of course I cannot chase that far. They went to a place arrows do not reach.
But as if timing it exactly there was one that flew from the direction the wyverns fled. Seeing that the wyverns hurriedly U-turn and come this way. If it were a manga it is a feeling of fleeing with sweat drawn in. Because they are impatient they do not advance for all the flapping. Altitude came down and it became a height my arrows reach. Toward that I shoot arrows! They hit but there is still distance so it does not reach a fatal wound. I shoot continuing, around the throat, jaw, it hits around the heart too. Oh, altitude gradually came down. The flapping of the wings grew bad. And it came down don don. Agnes and the others shoot arrows too. They hit and stick more and more. The wyvern became an arrow daruma. Even so it does not die. Bloodshot eyes seem to be glaring at us. It also seems to be falling aiming at us.
At last the wyvern collided with the ground. At a mere about five meters from where we are it fell, rolled and stopped.
There flapping its wings yussa yussa a griffin came down.
