Su Muyao’s expression was incredibly determined as she summoned all her power to walk forward step by step.

Every step was painful, as not only were there fierce winds, darkness, and cliffs, but the ground of Xie Guixue’s Spirit Sea was covered with thorns and many stones.

Su Muyao’s spiritual body entered, feeling the same as her physical body, so as she walked barefoot, the pain almost made her unable to stand.

Yet she took a deep breath and continued to walk forward.

In the places she walked through, all the fierce winds seemed to calm down suddenly, and the ground seemed to sprout flowers and grass, half of which were normal and half belonged to the Demon Realm.

Enveloped in vibrant light, swaying, the ground became soft.

"I didn’t expect his Spirit Sea to be like this."

"How much pain he must be in."

"This time, I must save him, help him."

Even if it’s like a mountain of knives or a sea of flames, Su Muyao must forge ahead.

She wouldn’t back down.

Continuing forward, she encountered a dense black forest, with the ground outside the forest full of small black stakes, like tiny spikes, densely packed.

Su Muyao had to walk through them to enter.

Otherwise, there was no place to set foot.

In the Spirit Sea, she couldn’t use her superpower to leap over.

She had to walk directly through.

"I’ve never seen a Spirit Sea like this."

"But this explains why Xie Guixue seems like he’s darkened."

"Yet, for a Spirit Sea to become like this and still maintain sanity, it’s truly a miracle."

Su Muyao felt deep sorrow for Xie Guixue, so she stepped onto the spikes without hesitation.

Instantly, blood flowed from her feet.

However, in the Spirit Sea, the blood wasn’t real; it only harmed her spiritual body, causing the vibrant light around her to spread more wildly.

"It... really hurts."

It felt like countless spikes pierced her feet.

Su Muyao took a deep breath, endured the pain, and kept walking forward.

Moved forward step by determined step.

Later, the pain made her body tremble violently.

Several times, she almost fainted, but she held on.

"It must be repaired."

She feared that if it completely collapsed, Xie Guixue would be in trouble.

And what she couldn’t tolerate was Xie Guixue getting hurt.

"What’s a little pain."

She constantly reassured herself, encouraging herself, and continued to move forward.

Fortunately, in the places she passed, under the vibrant glow and the nourishment of pure spiritual power, all the spikes disappeared, the ground became smooth, and colorful plants and flowers grew, emitting a fragrant and sweet aura.

This scent, when inhaled, made one feel elated.

Su Muyao didn’t look back, scared that looking back would make her unable to persist.

No knowing how much time passed, Su Muyao finally reached the depths of the dense forest, at the edge of a cliff, and saw the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast bound by very fine black ropes.

"Is this Xie Guixue’s spiritual body?"

His spiritual body was not human-shaped now, but in its original form, and incredibly thin.

Nothing like the figure Su Muyao first saw.

"How did it become like this?"

"Ugh...ugh..."

He seemed to be in pain, constantly whimpering.

His body trembled repeatedly.

Su Muyao’s eyes reddened instantly, her nose sour.

"Xie Guixue."

Su Muyao disregarded the dense spikes beneath her feet, ignoring the pain, and began to run quickly towards him.

But running too fast, combined with the severe pain, she stumbled and fell.

The spikes pierced into her body, making Su Muyao tremble all over.

The Ice and Snow Spirit Beast seemed to see Su Muyao and cried out continuously, but he was so badly injured that he couldn’t move.

He could only struggle anxiously back and forth.

His clean and clear blue eyes were now reddened.

Su Muyao didn’t want him to worry, quickly got up and ran to him, and when she reached the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast’s side, she hugged him tightly, "I’m okay, I’m okay."

When hugging the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast, Su Muyao’s eyes felt sore, tears threatening to fall.

But she held back.

She continuously injected spiritual power into his body.

When she hugged him initially, he wasn’t this thin; too thin, making her heart ache.

Beside him were countless dark threads wrapping around him, seeming to pull him toward the cliff.

He was very close to the cliff.

Su Muyao grew intensely nervous, holding him tightly.

As she hugged the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast, she could feel a huge suction force beneath the cliff constantly devouring everything around.

Su Muyao hugged the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast tightly, simultaneously injecting all her spiritual power into his body, continuously.

Her face grew paler.

Gradually, the dark aura around the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast faded significantly.

Su Muyao discovered the threads were still wrapping him.

She suddenly realized something, "It’s the threads."

Saying this, Su Muyao stepped forward to try and undo the threads but it proved ineffective.

Su Muyao looked back, finding that the black aura behind her had vanished, the ground and air hugely transformed, resembling a garden covered with flowers and grass, beautiful beyond words.

Su Muyao realized her spiritual power could change these, so she thought, condensing a knife with spiritual power to quickly slash at the black threads around the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast.

"It’s working!"

Su Muyao was incredibly excited, so she continued to cut those threads.

The threads were densely intertwined, seemingly devouring the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast and attempting to drag him into the abyss.

She definitely wouldn’t allow it.

Su Muyao carefully cut the threads apart.

This was very exhausting on her spiritual power.

Even though her spiritual power was very pure and thick now.

Because of the severe condition of Xie Guixue’s Spirit Sea, she struggled.

Her face grew increasingly pale, and her spiritual body became somewhat weak.

But Su Muyao didn’t give up, until she cut all the black threads, and after seeing nothing was entangling the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast, she breathed a sigh of relief and fainted from exhaustion.

Once the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast could move, he could release power to mend the remaining Spirit Sea.

However, the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast didn’t deal with the Spirit Sea’s situation, instead with eyes showing tenderness and concern, he gazed at her heavy injuries still bleeding, gently licking her wounds with his tongue.

...

No knowing how much time passed, after Su Muyao awoke in the Spirit Sea, seeing a bright sky with colorful rainbows spread over it, she felt delighted.

The place she lay was especially soft, covered in grass, with the scent of flowers everywhere.

At this time, the Ice and Snow Spirit Beast had returned to its true form, and its spirit was full.

No more fierce winds, even the cliffs had vanished.

This made Su Muyao incredibly thrilled.

"Great, the Spirit Sea won’t collapse."

Soon after, Su Muyao emerged from the Spirit Sea.

Seemingly because the pain of the Spirit Sea disappeared, when Xie Guixue formed the Contract with her again, he was in good shape, very gentle, no longer so forceful and overbearing.

Seemingly still the same Xie Guixue.

But Su Muyao knew, he was still a Dark Beastman, since his Spirit Sea’s garden had half normal flowers and half Demon Realm flowers.

Yet, there were no more violent winds, if any breeze blew, it was like the warm breeze of spring, gently blowing, making one feel elated.

...

Afterwards, forming the Contract, Xie Guixue’s Dark Aura became increasingly faint.

She could feel his condition improving, likely due to the Spirit Sea’s restoration.

Even if she was really tired sometimes, she couldn’t bear to push him away.

However, the body’s recovery rate was indeed strong.
