William left the cave and returned to the middle area of Mist Mountain.

His platinum-white hair and red eyes had already returned to their previous state.

Taking a carriage, William returned to the academy.

There was still about an hour left before class started, so there were very few students on the academy grounds.

Soon, he returned to the dormitory and stopped before his room.

His senses had also increased after assimilating the Vampire Bloodline, so even though the door was closed, he could still hear the sound of water splashing, indicating that Liam was taking a bath.

Entering inside, he saw that the window was closed, so he opened it to let the cool morning breeze flow inside the room.

Just then, Liam also emerged from the bathroom, humming a strange tune.

"Hmmm?" Seeing William, a look of surprise appeared on his face. But soon after, it was replaced by a sneer.

"Isn’t it the strongest newcomer of this year? So you finally decided to come back..." He spoke in a voice filled with jealousy. "You must have enjoyed your time with that senior last night?"

William’s mouth twitched slightly at Liam’s words, but he did not bother to explain and simply nodded.

"Yes, I had a very enjoyable night. At least, it was far better than someone’s who was just sitting in his dark room alone."

Liam was left speechless by William’s retort and didn’t know what to say.

Just then, he noticed that William looked taller than normal.

A strange thought suddenly appeared in his mind, and his expression turned weird.

"Ugh... Buddy, did that senior feed you the wrong pill and mistakenly increase the size of the wrong area?"

At first, William was confused by Liam’s words. But soon, he realized what he was trying to say, and his forehead throbbed with anger.

"You bastard..."

He suddenly disappeared, and before Liam could react, his head was already locked under William’s arm.

"My height increased because I had a breakthrough last night," William finally explained and rolled his eyes. "It’s not because I took a wrong damn pill."

Liam felt awkward under William’s gaze, but he suddenly realized what William had just said.

"A breakthrough?" A look of shock appeared on his face. "You were already at the peak of the Star Warrior level? Does it mean you have broken through to the Star Commander level?"

"No." William shook his head. "It’s a breakthrough in my cultivation technique. It enhances physical strength. Because of the sudden increase in my physical strength, my height increased a little."

"So that’s how it is." A look of understanding flashed in Liam’s eyes, and he nodded.

Seeing Liam had finally stopped thinking about useless things, William finally got to the real matter.
