RE: LORD OF TIME

Chapter 201: Time Chamber (Part 2)

William felt his body falling from a high cliff, with no end in sight. This feeling was somewhat similar to entering an Astral Rift, but not entirely.

Entering an Astral Rift would make one feel dizzy because of spatial turbulence. But currently, other than feeling as if he was falling, William did not feel anything.

"Where are you taking me, Eva?" He couldn’t help but ask curiously as he looked around him.

Other than endless light gray space that seemed to be moving along with him, William couldn’t see anything.

"Didn’t I say you will be able to increase your rank in the future very quickly?"

William raised an eyebrow at Eva’s words.

"You mean the place you are taking me is the key to my fast future cultivation?"

"Yes," As Eva spoke, William felt his surroundings trembling. "We are almost there."

A blinding light suddenly engulfed William’s vision, forcing him to close his eyes.

A few seconds later, when the light disappeared and he opened his eyes, William noticed he was standing in a small, dimly lit space.

The space was square-shaped, measuring fifty meters on each side.

The entire space was shrouded in hazy mist, and when William carefully looked at the mist, he was stunned because this mist was actually Aether Energy.

The density of Aether Energy here was so thick that it had turned into mist.

What shocked him even more was that there was a small pond in the center of the room. And the entire pond was filled with liquefied Aether Energy.

"What is this place, Eva?" William couldn’t help but ask with a look of shock on his face.

"Surprised?" Eva asked in a smug voice when she saw the surprise on William’s face.

William nodded at Eva’s words and didn’t deny her. He was indeed surprised by this place, as the density of Aether Energy was the highest he had ever seen anywhere.

"If you are already surprised, then you might just faint from happiness after knowing the true purpose of this place."

"True purpose..." William asked in a confused voice. "You mean there is more to this place other than this dense Aether Energy?"

"Yes..." As Eva spoke, a faint silhouette of a palm-sized deer emerged from William’s body.

William wasn’t surprised when he saw this, as he knew the deer was the spirit of White Pearl, in other words—Eva.

He had seen her a few times before, as she would occasionally come out to talk to him.

Eva landed on William’s shoulder and explained to him.

"This space is called Time Chamber. Here, you can change the flow of time compared to the outside world."

William’s pupils contracted upon hearing Eva, and he quickly turned his head to look at her in disbelief.

Seeing the shock on his face, Eva raised one of her feet, and a white beam shot out from it, striking William’s forehead.

"I have given you authority over this space. Now you can enter here freely, even without my help."

As the white beam struck his forehead, William suddenly felt a strong connection with the small space around him.

Moreover, some information regarding the Time Chamber also appeared in his mind.

William went through the information in his mind, and the more he understood, the brighter his eyes became.

After a few minutes, William took a deep breath as he understood all the functions of the Time Chamber.

"I can only use a 1:5 ratio for now, huh..." He muttered in a low voice.

"1:5 is already good enough for a Star Commander like you. One day here will be five days outside. If you cultivate here, breaking through to Star King in a few months of time in the outside world is just a matter of time."

"I am not dissatisfied with the 1:5 ratio..." William shook his head when he heard Eva’s words. "I am just shocked that this place even has functions of setting up a time difference of 1:10 and even 1:1000."

"1:5 is already a great burden on a pauper like you. Don’t forget you need to use Aether Stones to activate the time acceleration effect of this place. The wealth I gave you earlier is only enough to use the 1:5 level for some time before you need to get more Aether Stones."

William sighed at Eva’s words and shook his head.

"Couldn’t God Of Time have left me an entire mine or something? Surely, as a god, he must have a lot of good things, right?"

"What do you know..." Eva rolled her eyes. "Things like Aether Stones are completely useless for gods. The reason you even got the ones I gave you earlier was because Aevion had a few of them on him. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even have received those."

"Is that so..." William nodded without much surprise, as he was just complaining verbally.

Although not very easy, it wasn’t also very difficult to earn enough resources to use the Time Chamber.

’Hmmm... I think I will have to make some arrangements that will constantly generate some wealth.’ William thought and shifted his attention to something else.

"By the way, Eva, where is this place? I mean, this place is not located somewhere very far away, right?"

"Time Chamber is a special place Aevion had created on a whim..." Eva explained. "I have a storage function, and Aevion had placed this thing with me. So you can say you are currently in my storage space."

"Created on a whim..." William’s mouth twitched at Eva’s words. "You mean this place is something that he created just to pass time."

"Don’t be surprised..." Eva spoke calmly. "His mastery over the Law of Time had reached a very high level, so it wasn’t really difficult for him to make this thing. In fact, he just wanted to practice his control over the Law of Time when he decided to create this thing."

William’s mouth twitched even more violently upon hearing Eva. In the end, he sighed and shook his head.

’Forget it, I shouldn’t think about these gods for now.’

A gleam flashed in William’s eyes, and he looked at his status window, checking his other improvements.
