Chapter 130: THIS IS THE END??

As expected, Azrael carried me, and I had blacked out again from the lightning.

"Lightning keeps targeting her today!" I heard Liora say through her chewing.

"Are you sure we should just sit back and watch?" she asked, and my eyes popped open.

I stared at her stuffing her mouth with fried chicken.

"This restaurant really is great," she complimented again.

"Don’t worry, she is fine," Azrael said, and I gritted my teeth. If he hadn’t carried me to this restaurant, I would have been fine.

He noticed my glare and winked at me. I scoffed and stood up, approaching the table.

"Shouldn’t you tidy yourself up before you settle down?" Liora asked, but it only made me glare straight at her, and she shut her lips.

I reached to grab a shrimp, but Veyra held my wrist.

"Wait, wash your hands first!" he said, and I just stared.

I glanced as my hands landed in the bowl. I didn’t even move them yet, but Veyra gently held my hands and washed them.

"You could get sick if you eat with dirty hands," he said, still gently scrubbing them, and then he looked up "What else do you want to eat? Seafood? Chicken? Or something plain?" he asked, and a smirk curled on my lips.

"Anything! I’m not picky!" I said, and he returned the smile. He gently handed me the napkin, and I cleaned my hands. He reached out and began peeling the shrimp.

"Thank you," I said, and he placed it on my plate. I ate it and couldn’t help but squirm. Then Thyrian placed a chicken drumstick and some sauce onto a plate and pushed it towards me.

I flashed him a warm smile, and he blushed, looking away. Azrael rolled his eyes at his actions, but still pushed a drink towards me.

"Ahh, I’m so jealous. You have four of them caring so much for you," Liora chirped in, and I looked up at her.

"They owe me that. I just got struck by lightning!" I said, and she chuckled. Then her eagle Beastman grabbed her thighs. She yelped at his action, and I only laughed.

An hour later, I was done eating and just laid my head on the table when I heard footsteps and lifted my gaze.

"Where are you guys off to?" I asked, and Azrael pointed at some spot. I didn’t even look, because I had already sighted Kael.

I hadn’t seen him since I brought him there."Oh, okay," I said, and they walked off. I stood up, following after Kael.

"Hey!" I yelled, but he kept walking. When I finally got deeper into the forest, I stopped.

"Where did he go?" I thought, and then stared around in confusion.

"Where am I?" I asked myself, I had wondered in too deep, then he stepped out from behind a tree.

"You look vibrant," Kael said, and I raised a brow.

"I do?" I asked, and he nodded, then walked over and gently patted my hair, but that only made my blood boil.

I slapped his hand away.

"Did you do this to me?" I asked, yanking down the side of my clothes so he could see.

His gaze lingered on the mark for a while, and then he smirked. "It complements your skin," he said, and I stepped closer, my eyes dark.

"Are you going to hurt me? You don’t even have your powers anymore," he said, and this made a laugh escape from my lips.

"So you did steal them!" I snapped, and he chuckled. He raised his hand, about to touch my hair again, and I walked backwards.

"Give them back," I said, and he chuckled.

"I’m not a bad guy. Stop making me look like one!" he said, and this made me grit my teeth. Why was he being so difficult?

My lips parted to say something, but then my ears twitched.

"Oh my Gawd, so hot!" I heard a female scream from miles away.

"Come on, be mine! I treat my Beastmen well!" another female said, and my eyes darkened.

Why did I feel like those females were trying to coax my Beastmen into becoming theirs?

I retracted my steps from Kael and turned towards the narrow road... but he caught my wrist, gripping it so hard.

"What is so good about them? Just be mine, and you will have everything you want!" he said, and a scoff escaped from my lips.

"Did you mark me?" My eyes turned cold, and he walked towards me. He even tried to cup my cheeks, but I stepped back.

"That’s against contract rules. You can’t mark someone who doesn’t accept you as a master. I know you feel gratitude towards me because I saved you, but this isn’t right!" I said, trying to reason with him, but he only laughed.

"It’s not a problem, Raven. As long as someone powerful is by your side, nothing will happen to you!" he said and gently twisted a strand of my hair around his fingers.

"Psycho, that’s what you are!" I snapped, yanking my hair back. I had never seen someone this desperate or obsessed. I placed my hands on my neck and glared at him.

"What do you think you’re doing? Get this mark off me!" I screamed, and he only smirked, licked his lower lip and gave me a dark look.

"Raven, in four days, you will come to me yourself and beg me to be your only Beastman. I would love to see what you will become, but then you wouldn’t even care to look your Beastmen in the eye. My mark will make you mine forever!" he said, and those words made a sharp ache rise in my chest.

As he disappeared into flames, my lips twitched.

"I lost my powers because of his mark, and he laughs about it?" I asked coldly in disbelief and then suddenly Cat appeared in front of me, floating in the air.

"Let’s not deal with that for now, Raven," she said, and I scoffed.

"You knew? How long?" I questioned, and she cleared her throat.

"Aren’t you my friend? What did he mean by in the next three days? Will I turn into the violent Raven? Will I become a stranger to my beast-men and my friends?" I asked all at once, but then Cat words began to crack

[System under repair. Host, the system will not be available for some days.]

With that, Orange Cat’s body began to glitch too, and my eyes narrowed.

What is happening? Why all this mystery and confusion? And mostly...

"Raven, you have reached the part where the books ended. The author never completed the book... so now, anything that happens, you are the story! You have to end this book yourself!"

With that, Orange disappeared.
