Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1398: Pretty Nice
Chapter 1398: Chapter 1398: Pretty Nice
At the same time, Isabella Chamberlain’s sympathetic gaze fell on Charles Seymour.
At a glance, she could see he was an outstanding man.
He seemed to be part of the middle management in a company.
Achieving this at such an age is already quite impressive.
But he seemed a bit cold and not good at socializing; she deduced he was likely in a technical role.
People like him generally excel at work but aren’t great at communication.
Yesterday, she tested him slightly, and he didn’t know how to handle it, which confirmed her judgment.
She had met many men, but at this age, her family was also pushing her. She didn’t want to become a sacrifice in a family marriage alliance; she wanted to find a man with potential whom she could control.
And Charles Seymour was just that.
Quiet and not good at socializing, this kind of man met all her expectations perfectly.
The key was, his looks and physique were exactly to her liking.
As for Charles being already married... That was a minor issue. As long as she could make him divorce.
That Sophie Wilson was just a full-time housewife, seemingly vain and only knowing how to spend money shopping. If she didn’t have a pretty face, she probably couldn’t have married such an excellent man.
"There are quite a few good shopping malls around here; they will definitely meet Mrs. Seymour’s requirements," Isabella Chamberlain said, laughing as she named a few malls, "If Mrs. Seymour wants to go there, you can use the hotel’s car. As you two are the lucky clients this time, these services are all free."
"Sure," Sophie Wilson responded with a cheerful smile.
"Let me arrange that for you two," Isabella turned to instruct the hotel staff, only then smiling as she saw Charles Seymour and Sophie Wilson off in the car. After watching their car drive away, her smile turned into deep sarcasm.
Sophie Wilson was truly a fool.
How could someone like her be worthy of Charles Seymour?
Such an attractive and restrained man should naturally belong to her.
Sophie Wilson and Charles Seymour only returned to the hotel after spending the entire day outside.
After showering, Charles Seymour came out, seeing Sophie in pajamas flipping through today’s shopping bags. Amused, he walked over, sat down, and asked, "What are you looking at?"
"Checking out my spoils!" Sophie Wilson gleefully raised a lipstick, "Lucy and my mom always said, a woman must have one good-looking lipstick."
Charles Seymour glanced at several bags of lipsticks on the floor and asked, "Which one is good-looking?"
"I don’t know." Sophie Wilson smiled sheepishly at Charles Seymour, "I can’t tell the difference between them; I bought every color. I’ll ask my mom when we get home."
Her mom ran an art gallery and was quite accomplished in her own artwork, having substantial experience in color matching.
"You’re setting up others again," Charles Seymour looked at the shopping bags and shook his head helplessly.
"Am I?" Sophie Wilson asked him innocently, laughing with such naive charm, "I bought the ones with better value."
Charles Seymour reached out, affectionately ruffling Sophie’s hair; if she wanted to play, let her play.
After all, Isabella Chamberlain’s intentions were too apparent.
Sophie would get mad, and that was proof enough that she cared about him.
Having just this reasoning was sufficient for him to stand by, watching Sophie "fight" for him; the feeling was quite nice.
