Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1413: Absurd
Chapter 1413: Chapter 1413: Absurd
Patrick Grant’s words brought Master Clark back to the time when he first became a Gambling Stone Master, step by step.
He met Patrick Grant, learned a lot beside him, and eventually...
Master Clark shook his head abruptly, flinging those memories from his mind, as those were things of the past; thinking about them now holds no meaning at all!
"So, you’ve come back to take revenge on me? Revenge because I replaced you as the number one in the Gambling Stones Realm, is that it?" Master Clark questioned harshly.
"Patrick Grant, after your defeat back then, you’ve had unimpressive years, so today you’re unleashing it all on me?" Master Clark sneered through gritted teeth, "Patrick Grant, I never thought you would be so shameless!"
"Unimpressive?" Patrick Grant looked at Master Clark with puzzlement, "You think I’m unimpressive?"
"A person with nothing to his name wouldn’t have anyone inviting him for stone gambling, how could you make a comeback?" Master Clark questioned.
Patrick Grant wouldn’t dare deny it!
Now Patrick Grant looked at Master Clark as if watching a clown perform: "Can’t I just find a proper job?"
"Patrick Grant, are you really living such a shabby life!" Master Clark laughed out loud, "The mighty Stone God Grant from back then, now forced to work for others! You’ve really put down your pride!"
Sophie Wilson blinked her eyes beside him, were her spiritual jewels that disgraceful?
This Master Clark is indeed very detestable.
Master Clark continued following his line of thought, mocking Patrick Grant mercilessly: "Also, with nothing to your name, working is your only choice to make a living."
"Enough!" Surprisingly, it wasn’t Patrick Grant who first reprimanded Master Clark but Isabella Chamberlain, the greatest victim; she didn’t want to listen to the old stories between Master Clark and Patrick Grant now.
Whether they were arguing or fighting, even if they drew knives, she couldn’t care less; now she just wanted to know what would happen to her money?
The money given by her family, and the money she had raised.
Otherwise, using the hotel’s money to buy raw materials, if thoroughly investigated, it wouldn’t just be a matter of losing money.
"Master Clark, I trusted you this much, you shouldn’t repay me like this." Isabella Chamberlain scolded angrily through gritted teeth.
Master Clark shivered, swiftly placing the blame on Patrick Grant: "He set this up; otherwise, how could he be here?"
Isabella Chamberlain didn’t speak, only her gaze flickered dimly and brightly, fixated on Patrick Grant.
Patrick Grant amusingly looked at Master Clark as he spared no effort in splashing dirt on him, asking: "So, to come here, I needed your approval?"
"I just want to know why you suddenly appeared after disappearing for years, and only when this batch of raw materials emerged! You expect me to believe this isn’t a trap you’ve set up, do you think it’s possible?" Master Clark questioned.
Absolutely, it wasn’t a mistake he made, but a setup by Patrick Grant.
None of the matters were related to him; they were all Patrick Grant’s scheming against him!
Patrick Grant shook his head, unwilling to speak with Master Clark; he truly didn’t expect to encounter him here, yet after all these years, he still hadn’t changed, still just as shameless.
"Speak, go ahead and speak!" Master Clark saw Patrick Grant silent but continued to press, "Are you feeling guilty?"
"What could he be guilty about?" Sophie Wilson interjected.
She was aware of Patrick Grant’s character; he seldom showed up all these years, truly cultivating himself, almost like a monk.
