Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1452: Okay
Chapter 1452: Chapter 1452: Okay
Jim Perry glanced at Charles Seymour, who was in an obviously high-spirited mood today, and sighed helplessly. No matter how tired he was, it was of no use, especially since his boss married such a great wife.
Not to mention anything else, just the part where the boss’s wife sees through things but doesn’t say much, and still finds his boss adorable, he truly envied that.
This is what being a married couple is about, right?
Cheering each other up.
Damn, he’s actually a bit jealous of his own boss.
What’s even scarier is, he actually wants to be in a relationship now.
"What’s wrong?" Charles Seymour frowned, staring at Jim Perry who seemed lost in thought. This wasn’t like Jim Perry at all.
Charles Seymour quickly sorted through the company affairs in his mind; nothing seemed difficult.
"Boss, I’m a bit jealous of you," Jim Perry said seriously, looking at him.
Charles Seymour naturally wasn’t angry, he merely looked at him with confusion.
"To have such a wonderful wife as your boss’s wife, you’re truly blessed," Jim Perry said excitedly, "I want to find a wife too."
"Mhm." Charles Seymour nodded slightly upon hearing this, affirmatively acknowledging his happiness, then heartlessly stabbed Jim Perry again, "You won’t find one. There’s only one Sophie, and she’s mine."
Jim Perry: "..."
He’s crossed the line!
Even if he’s the boss, he can’t do this!
After showing off his wife, Charles Seymour earnestly went back to work; only by doing well at work can he have more time to spend with his wife.
No problem!
So, Jim Perry noticed that his boss’s work efficiency had significantly increased, and he then got busy as well.
Damn!
What’s the boss up to this time?
How can any random reason make him work so frantically?
Is he letting anyone live?
Whatever happened at Charles Seymour’s company, Sophie Wilson was oblivious to it. She was currently enjoying strolling down the street in a great mood.
Not buying anything extravagant, but looking at knick-knacks in specialty stores, buying something to feed the stray cats on the street, snacking a bit, and such.
Anyway, Sophie Wilson was living as leisurely as she wished.
Toward the evening, Sophie Wilson drove home.
This carried on for three or four days until she suddenly received a phone call: "...Oh? Your boss has some time now? Okay, when would that be? Hmm, I see, that works."
Sophie Wilson hung up the phone with a triumphant smile on her lips, finally, he couldn’t hold back any longer?
The next day, when Charles Seymour returned home, he saw Sophie Wilson dressed to the nines, wearing an elegant evening gown, completely unlike her usual casual attire.
"Where are you off to?" Charles Seymour asked with a frown.
Seeing his wife dressed so beautifully made him feel insecure: "I’ll drive you there."
"No need." Sophie Wilson waved her hand with a smile, "I’m just going to reel in the net, see if there are any little fish jumping around."
Charles Seymour raised his eyebrows slightly, staring at Sophie Wilson.
Is he someone who compromises that easily?
Sophie Wilson went up and gave him a peck on the lips: "Be a good boy and wait for me to come back, okay?"
Charles Seymour softened his gaze and replied with a gentle, "Alright."
Sophie Wilson took a car to the arranged place, which was a small cocktail party, not many attendees, but those present were all big names in the medical field.
It could be said that this was a high-end, classy cocktail party.
Once Sophie Wilson entered, everyone inside who saw her hurried over to greet her.
