Rebirth: I have Monopoly System
Chapter 386 - 353: The Second Pillar Industry - The Service Industry, Four Japanese Women (Part 2)
"I still have some business to take care of, so I’m not going out today!" A week’s worth of reports and documents from several companies were piled up, waiting for Wu Yun’s review.
Hearing Wu Yun say this, the men, who were just arranging their on-duty shifts, immediately grew excited.
Da Xiong grabbed his bag, threw it on his suitcase, and urged Poison Thorn, "Quick, quick! Let’s go see if there are any lost lambs in need of saving!"
Poison Thorn hesitated for a moment. "Da Xiong, you and Hawkeye go! I’m going to buy some gifts for my son. His birthday is coming up soon!"
Hearing this, Hawkeye, who was standing nearby, chuckled and slapped Da Xiong on the shoulder. "Go get ready! Persuading waitresses to turn over a new leaf is my favorite pastime!"
Wei Wu and Caviar invited Poison Thorn, "Perfect. The hotel has The Grand Canal Shoppes downstairs. I hear they have a lot of stuff. Let’s go check it out together!"
That left only Wang Hao, who was on his phone transferring money to the others. A few minutes later, their phones buzzed one after another with notifications that the funds had arrived.
At that point, both groups looked at Wang Hao and asked, "Who are you going with?"
They only asked because Wu Yun had told them not to go anywhere alone.
Wang Hao hesitated, glanced at Wu Yun who was playing on his phone on the sofa, and said a little sheepishly, "I’ll... go with Da Xiong and the guys!"
"HAHAHAHA!" Da Xiong laughed heartily and clapped Wang Hao on the shoulder.
Hawkeye grinned. "Let’s go! We’ll get you two tonight!"
...
The next day, the men left the hotel gym early and headed to the restaurant for breakfast.
On the way, Wu Yun said with a chuckle, "Da Xiong! Did you use up too much energy last night?
How come you’re such a weakling today? Your punches don’t even have any power!"
Da Xiong, of course, wasn’t about to admit the real reason he got his ass kicked today. He stubbornly insisted, "Boss! I just didn’t sleep well! The bed was too soft, I couldn’t really fall asleep."
Poison Thorn, who was standing to the side, yawned and, for a change, called him out. "That’s nonsense! You went to bed super early last night! Your snoring was so loud the windows were rattling! I’m the one who didn’t get any sleep!"
"Boss, I’m requesting a new room draw!"
Poison Thorn felt like crying but had no tears. He’d never noticed how loud Da Xiong’s snoring was back when they were sleeping in the same trenches. He must have been really exhausted from his outing yesterday! ’Did he get dragged off to plow a field or something!?’
Everyone burst into laughter. Hawkeye, who was laughing alongside them, suddenly stumbled and almost fell flat on his butt.
"Boss! See, Hawkeye’s the real weakling!" Da Xiong immediately said, dragging Hawkeye into it.
...
As they walked into the restaurant, only the clinking of spoons and forks could be heard in the quiet atmosphere. The group, who had been boisterous just moments before, couldn’t help but quiet down, lowering their voices significantly.
Even so, the way Wu Yun and his men were dressed drew the eyes of many other diners.
They were all in tank tops or compression shirts, looking either brawny or chiseled with defined muscles. Only one Asian man among them didn’t have as obvious signs of training.
When this group of men, reeking of testosterone, walked in, some of the women couldn’t help but look on with lust, their eyes sweeping back and forth across them.
A few Asian women had been chatting quietly, but when they saw Wu Yun’s group enter, one of them—a petite woman with a full bust—clasped her hands to her chest, swayed her body, and cooed, "Kakkoii~! So manly!"
Following her gaze, her three tablemates all looked over.
A fairly pretty girl frowned and said, "Meiko, don’t tell me you’re into the hairy-chested European and American types?"
Her gaze had landed right on Da Xiong, who was wearing a striped tank top that revealed some of the hair on his pecs.
The petite girl called Meiko quickly replied, "Of course not! I was looking at the Asian guy in the middle of their group! I wonder which country in East Asia he’s from."
Only then did the others notice Wu Yun, who was wearing a form-fitting t-shirt and athletic pants. Their eyes all lit up.
"Ayaka! He’s just your type!" one of the girls sitting next to Ayaka Sanji said excitedly, patting the back of her hand.
Ayaka Sanji’s heart skipped a beat, but she maintained a calm tone. "It’s just a chance encounter! Hurry up and eat! You all promised to come on vacation with me, but now you’re all just gawking at handsome guys!"
"After we eat and rest for a bit, we’ll go to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum as soon as it opens!"
Hearing Ayaka Sanji say that, the other three girls snuck a few more glances at Wu Yun’s back as he served himself food before finally looking away.
Wu Yun had no idea that his group’s arrival had gotten some of the young women and girls in the room all flustered.
After quickly grabbing some eggs and bread and a glass of milk, Wu Yun found an empty table and sat down.
When Wang Hao sat down, Wu Yun asked, "Wang Hao, what time does Madame Tussauds Wax Museum open?"
Wang Hao swallowed a bite of bread and replied, "President Wu, the wax museum opens at 10 AM. I already bought the tickets yesterday afternoon when I went out."
"Mm. What’s the itinerary for today?" Wu Yun had put Wang Hao completely in charge of planning the daytime schedule, hence the question.
"President Wu, per your request, we’ll visit the wax museum this morning and grab a casual lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll drive to the Bellagio to see the ’O’ show! Those are the seats we booked in advance. There’s a performance this afternoon."
As Cirque du Soleil’s most famous show worldwide, ’O’ is considered by many to be a once-in-a-lifetime, must-see performance. That’s why when Wu Yun was preparing to go to Las Vegas, he had Wang Hao use a professional service to book a private box.
"After the show, we can go straight to dinner at the Italian restaurant, LAGO by Julian Serrano. I’ve already made reservations for you!"
Wu Yun nodded casually. "Sounds good. Did you tell Charlie? I want to hit the casino tonight."
Wang Hao nodded. "I did. Charlie said he’ll have someone waiting for us at the designated spot on time."
....
Madame Tussauds is arguably the most famous wax museum in the world, with branches in many cities, including Modu in Huaxia.
Wu Yun had never been to the one in Modu, so since he had the chance, he decided to visit the Madame Tussauds located right inside the hotel.
After going back to their rooms to shower and change, the men slowly made their way downstairs toward the wax museum.
At the same time, there were four young women, each with a distinct style. They were definitely young, looking to be about college-aged.
The four of them were standing in line at the wax museum’s red-decorated ticket counter. Just then, the petite girl called Meiko gestured to the others. "Ayaka! Your type is here again!"
So the girls looked toward the ticket-check entrance. A few large men were surrounding the handsome East Asian man. The group quickly had their tickets checked and went inside.
Ayaka Sanji watched Wu Yun walk away, a flicker of anticipation growing in her heart. ’The whole group is just men, not a single woman among them. Could that handsome guy be single?’
"Whoa~ I didn’t realize! So those guys are all his bodyguards!" Meiko, the one with the baby face and bombshell figure, exclaimed. Her voice broke Ayaka Sanji out of her reverie.
"Ayaka! Are you gonna make a move!? If you don’t, I will!" another girl said, her eyes sparkling.
Ayaka Sanji’s heart tightened, but she still managed a faint smile. "Saki, he might have a girlfriend already! Look at all those bodyguards. He’s obviously loaded. You don’t want to get played!"
A look of longing appeared on Nakamura Saki’s face. "I don’t mind. I’d be willing to have a little fling! Look at the guys back home! Some of them are more ’kawaii’ than Meiko!"
At this, all four of them burst out laughing.
Looking at the lifelike, 1:1 scale wax figures, Wu Yun couldn’t resist taking some photos with the statues of celebrities and famous figures he’d once admired.
For instance, Wu Yun thought the wax figure of Tyson was incredibly expressive and realistic; its eyes and expression gave off a fearless vibe.
Besides Tyson, Wu Yun also got a photo with the Governator in his Terminator form.
The whole wax museum wasn’t that large. After Wu Yun’s group finished with one section, they headed toward the next.
Just as they were rounding a corner, they first heard the sound of bell-like laughter. Then, Da Xiong, who was walking in front, had a slender figure crash right into him. The figure stumbled from the impact and fell directly onto the floor.
Da Xiong, who had initially thought he was being attacked, relaxed his guard when he saw who it was. He scratched his head sheepishly and said, "Ma’am! I’m sorry! I didn’t do it on purpose!"
