Jiang Feifei laughed, "Ah Bao and the others didn’t want to come back with you?"

"Of course they wanted to, but they haven’t finished their homework yet."

Jiang Feifei found the thought amusing; those two should have learned their lesson by now.

Shang Zhenkun also sat in the kitchen, listening to the kids chat and laugh. He felt countless sighs in his heart; the best decision was to agree to Xiao Wei’s request to accompany the kids as they grew up.

Jiang Xinyu arrived home at eleven o’clock, and by that time, most of the dumplings were wrapped.

She immediately started boiling water to cook dumplings.

It had been half a month since she last ate dumplings because she had been busy, and they tasted really good.

"Mom, I bought some garlic sprouts. How about we fry some cured meat tonight?"

"Sure, does my son want to eat meat?" Otherwise, we wouldn’t put meat in these dumplings. This spinach cooks so quickly, and it doesn’t really go well with meat.

"Yes, I want to eat meat."

"We’ll have some meatball soup tonight."

Shi Xian listened to his mom’s words and smiled sweetly.

"Aunt Wei, should we cook some shrimp?"

Before Jiang Xinyu could answer, Shi Xian complained, "Brother Yang, you really don’t consider yourself an outsider, do you?"

Jiang Xinyu smiled and glanced at her son, "Alright, I’ll soak some Shanghai goods in a bit."

Yang Run Tai looked at Shi Xian with pride. How childish can one be?

After lunch, the kids urged Jiang Xinyu to rest; they would handle the cleaning.

Yang Run Tai followed Feifei, "Taking a nap?"

Jiang Feifei shook her head, "No, I don’t have that habit."

"How about we play Go? I brought a Go manual for you."

"Go?"

"Yes. I identified it; this is likely from the Song Dynasty."

"Could there still be such a rare copy?"

"Hmm, I’ve looked at it; there are quite a few endgames; shall we give it a try?"

"Sure."

The boys in the house heard Yang Run Tai easily persuading their sister, and they felt very uncomfortable.

This Yang Run Tai is indeed crafty, knowing exactly what Feifei likes.

However, during the Go session in the study, Shi Jing and Jianbin also joined in.

They replicated the same setup. The reason they’re called endgames is that ancients studied them for a long time without finding a solution.

Feifei was alright; as she set it up, she already had a vague idea, but Shi Jing and Jianbin didn’t. After setting it up, they couldn’t figure anything out.

So the two of them didn’t play and just watched the two play Go.

Yang Run Tai had absolute confidence in the girl he liked, and even though he was no longer a match for her now, it made him appreciate his own good taste even more.

Feifei only made a few moves, but wasn’t capable of solving the endgame entirely yet.

At two o’clock, Jiang Xinyu got up to go out and buy groceries.

"Mom, do you want me to go with you? I can help carry the bags," Feifei asked with a smile.

"Mom, don’t let Feifei go; let Brother Yang go instead?"

Yang Run Tai quickly showed his willingness; if it weren’t for Aunt Wei, he might not have made it into the Wei Family’s door. He still needed to win over his future mother-in-law.

Jiang Xinyu shook her head, "No need, you all play."

She went out for a quick trip, bringing back a large piece of pork, a large piece of beef, and some eggs.

Also, various cooked foods. Actually, these were all from the space; going out briefly gave her a good excuse.

She was ready, and Jianbin was in the kitchen mincing beef, aiming to make meatball soup.

"Aunt Jiang, do you agree with Yang Run Tai pursuing Feifei?"

Jiang Xinyu smiled slightly, "What’s the issue with it? Since he has such a thought, I won’t oppose it."

Jianbin had been in a bad mood for these past few days, mulling over this matter. He couldn’t figure out what kind of feelings he had for Feifei.

Feifei was indeed the most beautiful girl he had ever met. He hadn’t thought about it much before, but now that Yang Run Tai was involved, he didn’t want Feifei to be taken away.

"Aunt Jiang, do you think I like Feifei?"

Jiang Xinyu was taken aback, not expecting Jianbin to ask such a question.

"Jianbin, I don’t know, but I know that you, Feifei, and Shi Jing are like siblings."

"Aunt Jiang, Shi Jing also says I view Feifei as a sister.

My dad used to suggest making Feifei his daughter-in-law, and back then I felt like we were just siblings. But this time, with Yang Run Tai saying it, it feels different."

"You’re just like your Uncle Wei, afraid of Feifei being taken away."

"Is that so?"

Jiang Xinyu was almost driven crazy. Didn’t the young guy understand his own feelings? He definitely didn’t take after Han Xiangjun in that aspect.

That playboy produced such a sincere child.

Actually, Jiang Xinyu thought it was probably her doing; Jianbin had always lived with them.

"You are all still young. Who knows what the future holds?"

"Aunt Jiang. Don’t you think Feifei’s situation counts as early romance?"

Jiang Xinyu laughed, "I don’t think so. Parents worry about early romance because they fear you’ll lack self-control, hurt each other, and give up on your ideals.

Feifei isn’t that kind of child. There’s no need to worry at all."

Yang Run Tai was in the kitchen trying to win favor, and happened to hear their conversation. From that moment, he decided in his heart to do his best to win over such a good mother-in-law; she was simply fantastic.

Zhao Xiaoli came over with her two sons and daughter.

Jiang Xinyu liked Yang Fanxing; this little girl had inherited the best features of both parents, looking particularly adorable.

"Where’s Xiao Qiang?"

"He went out with Cheng Lin and the others to play. They’re eating at Chaoyang’s place tonight. I’m here to work."

"I’ve got it all prepared; you don’t have to do anything. How’s school?"

Zhao Xiaoli nodded, "It’s okay, Xinyu, you have no idea, everyone is working really hard; if I hadn’t kept my books, I think I wouldn’t have passed.

Now I’m particularly attentive in class, and also study a long time after coming back, just to avoid being behind classmates. Such learning attitude really impresses me."

"Hehe, no need to overwork yourself."

"In that kind of environment, not studying feels like a sin."

Listening to Zhao Xiaoli’s exaggeration, Jiang Xinyu smiled.

Actually, anyone capable of going to university in this era was truly talented. To resume studying and excel in such a short time shows real ability.

Fan Xing was unwilling to stay with them, so Jiang Xinyu called Tingting to accompany her.

"Has Yang Zhongyi changed?"

"He seems the same, but definitely much more mature."

"Isn’t he a big hero now?"

"I didn’t ask, but probably? Watching him sparring with the kids, he seems stronger than Old Yang and Old Wei. I remember he didn’t used to have such skill."
