Jiang Xinyu’s forehead twitched slightly; she was genuinely suspicious of Han Xiangjun’s judgment. What kind of extraordinary person was this?

She decided not to get involved. Old Yang should be coming over soon anyway.

So she simply lowered her head and continued to look at the accounts; her schedule was extremely tight. She had no energy to care about Han Xiangjun’s troublesome affairs.

But as she thought this, the woman—none other than Dong Xiaoyan—was not having it. She had given birth to this child and felt emboldened by it. Han Xiangjun, after all these years, had never had another child since then.

Now, the child she bore was Han Xiangjun’s daughter.

“Speak up, where did Han Xiangjun go?”

Listening to this aggressive voice was truly grating on her ears.

She checked the time; there was still a little while before Old Yang arrived, so she had to endure it. It was truly an unexpected disaster, being yelled at like this.

Dong Xiaoyan saw Jiang Xinyu not speaking, thinking she was afraid of her, so she spoke even more arrogantly.

“I tell you, Han Xiangjun is mine. See, I gave him a daughter, and in the future, I’ll give him a son too. Eventually, I’ll be the mistress of the Han Family. I warn you, quickly leave Han Xiangjun. Also, you have to give back whatever he has given you, including money. And don’t come to work here anymore. Who knows if you’ve secretly taken anything? I can’t trust you. This has to be someone from within; outsiders like you won’t do.”

Jiang Xinyu felt the veins on her forehead throbbing.

Not sure where Han Xiangjun found this extraordinary person?

“Did you not hear me talking to you? Do you want me to kick you out right now?”

Old Yang came in, just in time to hear this, twitching at the corner of his mouth. His heart once again confirmed that Han Xiangjun was a fool, unquestionably a fool.

“Who are you? How do you get in here casually?”

“Me? I’m the owner here; who are you to be arrogant in my place?”

“Yours? You’re kidding me? I’ve asked around, this is Han Xiangjun’s. I tell you, you better leave quickly, or I’ll find someone to catch you.”

Old Yang glanced at the helpless Jiang Xinyu, understanding the frustration of dealing with someone whose intelligence was clearly offline.

At this point, the phone on the desk rang, and Jiang Xinyu picked it up casually.

“Xinyu. What did you call me about?”

“Han Xiangjun. Your daughter’s mother is in my office now, trying to kick me out.”

Han Xiangjun frowned, “Don’t joke, I don’t have a daughter.”

Old Yang heard Jiang Xinyu’s words, walked over, and took the phone.

“I’m really concerned about your intelligence and judgment; how could you end up with someone like this?”

“Old Yang?” Both being there meant Jiang Xinyu wasn’t joking with him earlier.

“Yeah, can’t let a brother’s wife solve such matters for you, it’s embarrassing.”

Han Xiangjun felt quite embarrassed too. “Can you ask the woman what her name is, and what daughter?”

“This woman came with a child, claiming it’s your daughter.”

Han Xiangjun felt his eyelid twitch involuntarily.

“Find someone to detain this woman; I’ll be back in two days. Everything’s already arranged; just waiting for Lv Beiguang to come over.”

“Okay, alright.”

After hanging up, Old Yang called out, and three young men came in from outside.

“You three take her to the suburbs and watch her until Brother Han returns.”

Dong Xiaoyan had been compliant since Han Xiangjun’s call. Upon hearing about being watched, she protested. Without Han Xiangjun here, she considered herself the mistress of this place.

The three young men nodded. One directly snatched the child from Dong Xiaoyan’s arms, while the other two grabbed her by the arms.

“Let me go; I’m your Brother Han’s woman. When your Brother Han returns, he won’t let you off.” She recognized one of the young men.

The young men ignored her, not loosening their grip at all. “Dong Xiaoyan, I advise you to cooperate; you’ll understand when Brother Han comes.”

After they left, Old Yang sat awkwardly on the side, poured himself a glass of water.

“Xiao Jiang, I’m heading back now.” He was truly embarrassed, as if he was responsible for this mess, too shameful.

“Alright, sorry for troubling you.”

Old Yang waved awkwardly, leaving without drinking the water, complaining internally about Han Xiangjun’s irresponsibility. What kind of smart child could come from such a brainless woman?

Jiang Xinyu continued checking the accounts, nearing payday.

Just then, the phone on the desk rang again.

“Xinyu, did you call me?”

“Did you finish your meeting?”

“Yeah, what’s up? It’s rare for my wife to call me.”

“Just a woman bringing a child came looking.”

Wei Kaiyun felt no guilt, “Looking for Old Han?”

“Yes, exactly. I can’t deal with this matter well, so I had to call you. Since you weren’t around, I called Old Yang; he came to handle it.”

“Hmm, alright. You don’t have to worry about it; we shouldn’t get involved in Old Han’s mess. I’ll call him to come back later.”

“I called him first; he returned the call when Old Yang was around, said he’d be back in two days. Okay, carry on with your work; we’ll talk more when you get home.”

His work truly keeps him extremely busy, requiring a lot of funding, which remains a great pressure on him.

“Okay, don’t overwork yourself; take a break at the office in the afternoon.”

Jiang Xinyu uttered a sound of agreement, thinking about how she wasn’t used to living outside anymore.

As soon as she put the phone down, it rang again.

“Xinyu, where’s Old Yang?”

“He took care of it and went back to work. By the way, I heard Xiao Hai call the female colleague Dong Xiaoyan.”

Han Xiangjun immediately remembered her. “Alright, I got it.”

After hanging up the phone, Han Xiangjun frowned. He had always been extremely cautious about these matters. How did he end up with that woman being pregnant?

Never mind; better to hurry back, find out upon returning, no need to guess blindly here.

This matter wasn’t discussed with the children by Wei Kaiyun and Jiang Xinyu, mainly because it would severely affect Han Xiangjun’s reputation in the children’s eyes.

Lv Beiguang also received a call from Han Xiangjun, knowing the winery over there was fully built, entirely owned by Han Xiangjun himself, unrelated to over there.

Returning from the township, he directly found Li Yungui.

“In-law, I’m heading south.”

Li Yungui had been prepared for this mentally, yet still felt very reluctant. Its time to leave, what would be left of Li Family Village?

“In-law, the winery continues its operations; the contract with the city’s winery has expired. From now on, you can independently manage sales.”
