"Is it delicious?" Jin Hao asked. Jiang Xue nodded, and Jin Hao pointed to the remaining pastries on the plate, smiling as he said, "There’s still more here, you can eat a bit more."

Jiang Xue shook her head and then looked at Jin Hao, saying, "Mr. Jin, I’m fine now. You should carry on with your work."

"Okay, then you take a rest for a while. The party isn’t ending so soon. There are still many people who want to meet you."

"Alright, I’ll go down shortly."

"Okay, I’ll go down first." After Jin Hao spoke, he directly went downstairs. Now Jiang Xue had already become his prey, unable to escape, so he wasn’t in a hurry.

Moreover, he feared that being too hasty would have adverse effects, so he didn’t stay longer and went straight downstairs. Seeing Jin Hao leave, Jiang Xue’s eyes flickered, and she ate another piece of pastry before leaving the lounge.

Walking outside, she saw Huo Cong standing afar, Jiang Xue glanced at him. Seeing him nod, she finally relaxed.

Returning to the hall, the atmosphere was lively. However, some people were sharp-eyed and noticed Jiang Xue’s return, and approached her.

As soon as Jiang Xue appeared, Jin Hao also quickly noticed and came towards her.

"Miss Jiang, I heard you were unwell just now. Are you better now?" A gentleman asked Jiang Xue with concern.

"I’m fine now, thank you for your concern." Jiang Xue thanked him and casually picked up a glass of juice, toasting the man.

She knew that Jin Hao’s goal had been achieved; the juice no longer had any additives. So, there was no need to be overly cautious.

Seeing Jiang Xue toast him, the gentleman was flattered and returned the toast to Jiang Xue. Jin Hao, seeing this, intervened and said, "Pier, you can’t bully Miss Jiang."

"Mr. Jin, rest assured, how could I bully Miss Jiang? I admire her too much for that." The gentleman said while looking towards Jiang Xue, his blatant gaze of admiration making her somewhat unable to accept.

The men from M Country were really straightforward, making a conservative woman like her quite uncomfortable. Jin Hao apparently also considered this issue, so his expression only slightly soured before recovering.

He noticed Jiang Xue’s displeasure.

"Thank you for your misplaced affection, Mr. Pier, but I already have a husband and children." Jiang Xue said with a smile. However, her words took everyone by surprise. They all thought she was a young girl, but unexpectedly, she already had a husband and children.

"Miss Jiang, you’re not lying to me, are you?" Pier looked incredulous, thinking Jiang Xue was deceiving him.

"Mr. Pier, I’m not lying to you. If you don’t believe me, you can ask Mr. Jin, he knows." Jiang Xue smiled, pointing to Jin Hao to indicate she was not lying.

Pier and the others looked at Jin Hao, waiting for him to speak. Jin Hao was somewhat annoyed but had a smile on his face as he said, "Miss Jiang isn’t lying; she is indeed married, with a handsome husband and a lovely child. So you all better not have ideas about her, or her husband will be jealous."

Jin Hao’s words made everyone laugh, successfully deterring the men who originally had interests in Jiang Xue from pursuing her further.
