As soon as the others heard that Mr. Mu was going to follow Jiang Xue and the rest to the zoo the next day, they immediately showed interest too. So what was supposed to be a trip for three turned into a trip for a whole group.

Early the next morning, everyone got up bright and early. After breakfast, they started getting ready to head out. Little Reunion checked the time and said to everyone, "I made plans with the kids to meet at the zoo gate at nine. We still have more than an hour, so no rush."

At those words, the elders all looked at Little Reunion in surprise and asked, "Little Reunion, you’re this little and you already have friends?"

"Of course!" Little Reunion said proudly, "They’re all the big brothers and big sisters I met at the zoo yesterday."

"Those big brothers and sisters are willing to play with you?" Mr. Mu was a bit skeptical. After all, Little Reunion was only one year old; why would older kids be willing to play with him?

Not to mention others—back when he was a kid himself, he hadn’t liked playing with children younger than him. But the little ones always liked following the older kids around.

"That’s for sure, they really like being with me." Little Reunion said smugly. It was the first time he’d ever been around that many children.

Before, he had occasionally gotten to know a few kids, but they were all older than him and didn’t really want to play with him.

But the kids from yesterday were different. They loved following him; wherever he went, they went too.

"Really? Then Little Reunion is amazing!" Mr. Mu gave Little Reunion a big thumbs-up, making him even happier.

Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng watched, exchanged a glance, and then laughed. The family sat around at home for a while, and when they saw it was about time, they finally set out.

Because there were more people going this time, Mu Qiancheng specially arranged two extra cars. The whole family drove three cars to the zoo.

By the time they arrived, the kids they’d arranged to meet yesterday had already been waiting there for a while. It was nearly nine o’clock, and with Little Reunion still nowhere in sight, they couldn’t help getting a bit anxious.

The parents were also a little worried, afraid that Little Reunion’s family wasn’t coming after all. They were inwardly regretting not asking Mu Qiancheng and Jiang Xue for their phone numbers yesterday.

But at two minutes to nine, they finally saw Little Reunion, and everyone cheered up. The kids dashed over, crowded around Little Reunion, and started chattering away.

"Little Reunion, why are you only here now? We thought you weren’t coming!"

"Yeah, Little Reunion, we were all getting anxious waiting."

"I got here at eight thirty."

"Me too, I arrived at eight forty. I’ve already been waiting twenty minutes."

Little Reunion listened to them finish complaining, then smiled and said, "The elders at home wanted to come along today, so it held us up a bit."

Hearing that, the kids finally noticed that there really were several elders standing behind Little Reunion. Faced with so many adults, they suddenly became a bit stiff and shy.

Originally, Mr. Mu and the others hadn’t believed Little Reunion would really have little friends. Now that they saw it with their own eyes, they finally did. Especially after hearing the kids talking to Little Reunion, they all broke into smiles.

It was obvious these children really liked Little Reunion. Seeing that he had actually made so many friends, Mr. Mu and the others were genuinely happy for him.

So when he noticed the kids getting a bit tense, Mr. Mu chuckled and said, "Just do whatever you were going to do, don’t be nervous. We don’t eat people."
