Chapter 1548: Chapter 1548: School Graduation (8)

Of course, Jiang Xue wouldn’t refuse this. Although there are classmates from Nan University she doesn’t like, she can’t deny that there are many excellent graduates.

Moreover, if the company needs to recruit people, hiring others or hiring Nan University graduates amounts to the same thing. In this way, she could also win the favor of the principal, so why not do it?

As a result, almost all the outstanding graduates from two consecutive classes at Nan University joined Jiang Xue’s company, becoming a pivotal force in the company.

Because a branch company needed to be opened and Mu Qiancheng was already in Beijing, Jiang Xue decided to take charge of this matter herself. For this reason, she took Little Reunion along to Beijing. Then Father Jiang and Mrs. Jiang also followed.

As for her father-in-law and mother-in-law, because Mu Siwu rejected Beijing, they did not go. When Jiang Xue took her parents and child to Beijing to open a branch company, her husband and wife duo returned to their hometown.

Over the years, they had been staying in South City, seldom returning to their hometown. Now that they had some rare free time, they planned a trip back.

Upon knowing they were returning to their hometown, Jiang Xue specially arranged for Zhuoyue to send them. Coincidentally, Zhuoyue also wanted to visit home and treated it as a company perk.

Temporarily setting aside Mu Siwu and Bai Yuhua’s trip home, meanwhile Jiang Xue, after bringing her parents and child to Beijing, began to get busy.

Fortunately, Mu Qiancheng had already established himself in Beijing, supplemented by Mr. Mu’s connections. Jiang Xue’s plan to open the branch was naturally fully supported. Consequently, upon her arrival, someone took her to scout locations.

Jiang Xue planned to build a factory herself, so she wanted to purchase land. However, in Beijing, land prices are astronomical. All the good locations were snatched up and developed.

As for the remote areas, Jiang Xue didn’t want them. Because they were remote, accessibility would be inconvenient despite having cars.

Unable to find a suitable location, Jiang Xue went out searching almost daily. As for Little Reunion, she entrusted him to the care of Jiang Family Parents and Mr. Mu.

With more people around, the place Mu Qiancheng stayed at previously wasn’t spacious enough. Mr. Mu suggested they move into his home, but Mu Qiancheng didn’t agree and instead bought another place.

This time, instead of a villa, he purchased a courtyard house near the Imperial City. That location wasn’t far from where Mr. Mu resided, making visits convenient. It was suitable for Mr. Mu to visit Little Reunion, and convenient for Jiang Xue and the others to return.

Jiang Xue had been searching outdoors for half a month with no results. She had to pause and take the child to visit Mu Qiancheng at work.

As a unit leader, Mu Qiancheng was assigned a small two-bedroom, one-living-room apartment. He knew Jiang Xue and the child would visit, so he had tidied up ahead of time, only waiting for his family to arrive.

When Jiang Xue went over, she didn’t ask Mu Qiancheng to drive over to pick them up, instead having Huo Cong escort her there. Once at the unit’s entrance, they were stopped.

Jiang Xue reported Mu Qiancheng’s name, and the guard’s eyes widened as he looked at her, asking, "Are you looking for Mr. Mu?"

"Yes, I am his wife," Jiang Xue said with a smile. Upon hearing this, the guard immediately made a phone call. Soon after, Mu Qiancheng came running over.

"Xue’er, why did you come?" Mu Qiancheng exclaimed joyfully upon seeing Jiang Xue. He knew she had been busy lately, and although he hoped they would visit, he didn’t expect them to actually come.

"I’m here to see you, are you happy?" Jiang Xue asked with a smile. She hadn’t informed him beforehand of their visit, planning to surprise Mu Qiancheng.
