"Forget it, I’ll wash them myself!" Jiang Xue refused Mu Qiancheng’s kind offer and returned to the bathroom to wash clothes by herself.

The clothes that Jiang Xue and Little Reunion wore were not dirty, and they were clean after a quick wash. Mu Qiancheng watched as Jiang Xue finished washing the clothes and helped her take them to the balcony to dry.

Once they were finished, the couple returned to their room. Jiang Xue was about to enter the room where Little Reunion slept, but Mu Qiancheng pulled her back and said, "Xue’er, you two go to the next room."

Jiang Xue looked at Mu Qiancheng with suspicion, then followed him to the next room. She was surprised when, as soon as she entered, Mu Qiancheng embraced her, and a flood of kisses came her way.

Only then did Jiang Xue understand why Mu Qiancheng didn’t want her to enter the room where Little Reunion slept. The bed in that room was small, not suitable for intimate activities. Although the bed in this room was not large either, since Little Reunion was not there, the two of them could be free without worrying about waking him up.

Understanding the reason, Jiang Xue felt both amused and helpless. However, she didn’t push Mu Qiancheng away but let him kiss her as he moved toward the bed.

At the bedside, Mu Qiancheng embraced Jiang Xue and fell onto the bed.

After the passion subsided, Jiang Xue lightly punched Mu Qiancheng and said, "Are you like a dog or something? We just haven’t seen each other for half a month, but look at how you left me..."

Jiang Xue spoke as she pointed to the marks on her body for Mu Qiancheng to see. Mu Qiancheng smiled, leaned down to kiss the marks on Jiang Xue’s body, and said, "Wife, I’m not like a dog; I’m like a wolf. Wolves need to eat meat."

"You’re such a tease!" Jiang Xue glared at Mu Qiancheng and then said, "Get up, I need to wash up and then go to sleep with our son."

Unexpectedly, Mu Qiancheng held her back and said, "You lie down, dear. I’ll take care of you."

After saying that, Mu Qiancheng got off the bed and went to the bathroom to fetch water. In no time, he returned with a basin of water and used a towel to clean Jiang Xue’s body.

After cleaning up, Jiang Xue felt much more comfortable and sat up on the bed, watching Mu Qiancheng take the water outside with a faint smile on her face.

Then, Jiang Xue got dressed and headed to the next room. Little Reunion was still small, and she was not comfortable leaving him to sleep alone.

Mu Qiancheng knew Jiang Xue had returned to the next room and followed her in. A bed that was 1.5 meters wide would be barely enough to fit three people.

Seeing Mu Qiancheng come over, Jiang Xue moved Little Reunion further inside. Once he was moved, Mu Qiancheng lay down on the outside and closed his eyes, holding Jiang Xue in his arms.

Jiang Xue thought she might not be able to sleep well in a place with sanitary concerns, but unexpectedly, she slept through the night. The next morning, she woke up to the sound of reveille at the army base.

When she opened her eyes, it was already quite bright. There was no one beside her; Mu Qiancheng had already gotten up, washed, and was preparing to go for morning exercises.

After washing up, Mu Qiancheng saw Jiang Xue was awake and smiled, "I’m going for exercises; I’ll be back soon. You don’t need to make breakfast; I’ll bring it back from the canteen."

After giving instructions, Mu Qiancheng put on his hat and went out.

Seeing Mu Qiancheng wouldn’t be back soon, Jiang Xue didn’t get up. Instead, she entered a space and headed to the mountain top for cultivation.

After practicing for about half an hour, Jiang Xue came down, left the space, and went to wash up.

By the time she finished washing up, it was already 7:30, and Little Reunion was still asleep. Jiang Xue didn’t wake him up but sat on the sofa to read a book and waited for Mu Qiancheng to return.
