Standing in front of the other party, Rio felt like he was standing naked, and the other party could see right through his very existence!

It was a very unpleasant feeling, but Rio remained calm.

"Zain Dred?... My... I mean this body’s ancestor? From what I know, you were supposed to have died more than 1500 years ago..."

Rio knew that King Allen had an extensive amount of knowledge about almost everything in the universe due to his strong connection with the heavenly will.

Using that connection, Allen could become almost omniscient and all-knowing in a certain sense, so it wasn’t strange that he had some knowledge about an ’Anomaly’ too.

Rio knew that ’anomalies’ existed in all forms of life.

In chemistry, in the laws of physics, and in the forms of biology, countless anomalies existed across the universe, and they weren’t rare.

What was rare was a ’self-conscious anomaly’ like Rio who is fully aware of his own existence and can passively use his powers as an anomaly to influence the rest of the world.

Moreover, all anomalies are unique and incomprehensible existences, so Rio was confident that no matter what King Allen or even the Heavenly would know about anomalies, their knowledge couldn’t be more thorough than his.

After all, only he knew about himself the most; others couldn’t compare. That is also why Rio was never eager to find others’ help in trying to uncover the secrets of his existence.

He knew that this was his own mission and only he could complete it alone.

Zain’s floating skull suddenly surged with darkness, and a humanoid shape was formed, created by condensed dark elementals in an instant.

"I am the greatest ’Necromancer’ in the universe! I can revive the dead, and I rule the undead! The law of ’Death’ is my friend!"

"I am almost immortal in a certain sense because the ’Law’ of ’Death’ would not let me die."

Hearing those words, Rio’s eyes widened in sheer shock, and for the first time in a while, Rio found himself speechless and lost for words to speak!

A strange twisted smile made up of darkness appeared on Zain’s face,

"But as long as the ’Law’ of ’Death’ keeps being my good buddy, I will keep on living, hehe~"

The idea that someone could be free of the literal ’Law’ of ’Death’ seemed extremely bizarre and unexpected to Rio.

Most of the time, the ’Law’ of ’Death’ is one of the only laws of the universe that never cooperates with anybody and is extremely difficult to please.

There’s been no one who has gotten the ’Legendary Skill’ bestowed by the ’Law’ of ’Death’ in the world except for perhaps Zain Dred.

"Ah, that look. I know it... you want to ask me whether I have the legendary skill or not, right?"

"I saw you using ’Sword Intent’ on my pet dragon; it was quite good, almost at the level of Allen back then."

Zain waved his hand made up of pitch-black darkness and summoned a strange-looking dark orb in his palm.

"Well, even if your soul is weird, you are still technically the first of my descendants I have seen in ages."

"Moreover, you seem to be in some kind of dilemma, so I don’t mind telling you."

A frown appeared on Rio’s usually expressionless face as he felt the emotions of overwhelming kindness and care from that creature of darkness.

’Unbelievable!... a creature so thoroughly corrupted and destroyed by miasma... and yet he’s still able to maintain his sanity to this extent!?’

Only those with extremely high miasmic resistance, like King Allen, Bela Anant, and Riya Croft, could resist miasma to this extent!
