Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2744 - 27: Foot Rebirth!

  • Next Chapter

The feet were shiny, extremely hard and full of mechanical strength, completely unmatched with the rough, aesthetically unpleasing cocoon shell.

If the enemy had bothered to think, they would have realized that within this cocoon was the true form of the alien creature.

But now they didn’t have the time to think.

Because once Jia Yan extended his feet, his combat style changed instantly.

Buzz!

The feet were extremely long and pointed. If the length of the cocoon was thirty kilometers, then each leg was more than twice that length, meaning one leg stretched to sixty kilometers or more.

He could control a combat area spanning hundreds of kilometers, nearly two hundred kilometers.

It was terrifying.

Especially the front legs, which turned thick and hard like swords.

Slicing through, it was as if an enormous scimitar capable of cutting through planets was being wielded in the starry sky, a sight to behold.

"Damn it, get out of the way!"

This group of creatures suddenly felt the demeanor of the being before them had transformed.

When they fought earlier, they presumed this creature’s advantage was its formidable defense and lack of attack capabilities, thus they had moved in close.

After all, what other combat tactics could a spherical object possibly possess apart from ramming?

But now, moving in close proved to be incredibly dangerous.

The fist-like monster, having matched fists with Jia Yan, still found its hands close to Jia Yan’s legs.

Now, these legs had transformed into a giant blade, slicing down in an instant.

The finger-like appendage of the fist monster was severed without any resistance.

A finger was lost as if a part of its body was cut, causing it to scream in pain as it retreated in panic.

Yet Jia Yan was unrelenting, chasing fiercely.

"Ha ha, you dared to hunt me down so fiercely that you nearly broke my cocoon shell, now let’s see where you can escape to!"

Jia Yan’s body was still a bit slow, but his legs were incredibly long, and the enemy had moved so close that Jia Yan easily pursued, reaching a giant dog-like creature.

This being was of the early-stage Galaxy level. Upon seeing Jia Yan transform with extended legs, it realized things were amiss and began retreating quickly.

Unfortunately, in retreating, another early-stage Galaxy-level creature pushed it, allowing Jia Yan to catch up.

"Early stage, huh? You’re the one!"

Jia Yan sensed the creature he caught up with was an early-stage Galaxy-level being and was instantly motivated, targeting it.

His legs suddenly glowed with a bluish tint mixed with a hint of gold.

These legs instantly took on the appearance of an azure defense.

Moreover, Jia Yan surged the power within his legs to their extreme.

With a humming sound, the leg blades sliced down.

To Jia Yan, using his legs was second nature, after all, he’d been utilizing this fighting style since birth.

Previously lacking legs felt as if something was missing to Jia Yan; now that they were back and even more massive and powerful than ever, he couldn’t wait to test what level of combat power they exerted.

Thud.

The leg blade, enhanced with azure defense, felt even more intimidating, instantly slicing through the dog-headed creature’s head, splitting it in half in a moment.

"Ah, damn, save me!"

The dog-headed creature turned its gaze to the early-stage Galaxy-level being that had pushed it moments before.

But it was dismayed to find that this creature, so close by, showed fear in its eyes and turned at once to flee toward a middle-stage Galactic entity.

"How is this possible!"

"What level of creature is this? Just now, it seemed only like an early-stage Galaxy being."

"No, absolutely not early-stage, have you ever seen any early-stage Galaxy-level being kill a peer so effortlessly!"

"Damn, feel his brainwave strength, it suddenly surged to the middle-stage Galaxy level. He deceived us, he’s a middle-stage Galaxy creature!"

"Damn it, go all out, especially you early-stage creatures, use your assassins quickly, or you’ll all die."

On the periphery of the combat zone, the two who briefly stepped back to assess what kind of middle-stage Galaxy creature this suddenly leg-wielding being was, instantly understood that he wasn’t an early-stage but, like themselves, had reached the middle-stage Galaxy level.

They were furious.

Losing an early-stage Galaxy creature was a huge problem for them, not knowing how to explain it to their superior, the domain master creature.

Early-stage Galaxy creatures, even in areas close to the Milky Way Central, weren’t as commonly found as cabbage by the roadside, and though more frequent than on the Orion Arm, where a vast starfield might host only one, they were relatively scarce strong ones here.

If someone they led got killed, punishment was inevitable.

"Use the assassins!"

"Yes, this guy played the fool, he’s definitely not an ordinary middle-stage Galaxy creature, nor that stupid."

"That’s right, since he’s not that foolish, seeing so many of us and still daring to appear, it means his combat power has not been fully revealed, quickly activate the assassins!"

Among the remaining early-stage Galaxy creatures, originally five, one dog-headed creature was now dead, leaving four that were suddenly so terrified they kept silent.

Especially the fist monster who had lost a finger; the sharpness of the newly equipped leg blade was such that resisting it felt hopeless, prompting extreme fear and avoidance.

"Damn it, I’ve already used my assassin, what now!"

The blowing creature was somewhat exhausted; it seemed devoid of strength.

One injured, one having used its assassin, leaving only two of the remaining four early-stage Galaxy creatures with enough combat power.

These two promptly used their assassins, knowing any further combat attempts would be futile without them.

They were all strong creatures; earlier, the leg-wielding being had revealed combat power surpassing early-stage Galaxy levels with simple counterattacks, so they dared not charge forward carelessly anymore.

As long as the assassins could assist the two middle-stage Galaxy leaders in battling this monster, they would consider it impressive.

Boom boom

Two combat powers exploded violently.

The assassin of one early-stage Galaxy creature was brainwave-based, and as if by magic, the stars displayed an illusion in the sky before Jia Yan.

A vision of a planet colliding towards Jia Yan appeared.

This planet didn’t exist in reality; it was merely a terrifying simulation concocted by the opponent’s overwhelming brainwave strength. This assassin mimicked the appearance of a planetary bombardment, such that a planet illusion appeared unintentionally. It wasn’t deliberately set by the enemy, but naturally occurred because the strong brainwave strength automatically generated such a scene. And eliminating this scene would require additional brainwave strength to dispel, which was unwise. With no extra effort in fully engaging the brainwave strength, it was simply ignored.

"Impressive, this is a combat secret technique arising from instant brainwave invocation."

Jia Yan felt the atmosphere and immediately grew cautious.
