Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito
Chapter 2795 - 53: Ambushed!
"Alright, let’s start the battle while this high-level civilization hasn’t noticed us... huh?! Oh no!"
Adisa’s words hadn’t finished, when suddenly her expression changed slightly.
As a character controlled by a Smart Brain, this Sovereign’s identity generally didn’t show any expression, but now there was a slight change in her demeanor, indicating the shock was significant enough to surprise her.
"What’s wrong, Lord of Sovereign!"
"Have you gathered new intelligence?"
"Quickly tell us."
The subordinates below almost trusted Adisa unconditionally, just like they trusted Jia Yan. Each of them had unconditional trust in Adisa’s abilities.
Because under Jia Yan’s ability, Adisa’s performance over the past year had been outstanding, even in logistics, her performance was not much weaker than Jia Yan’s. Without strong handling capabilities, the rapid progression of Earth’s Civilization over the past year would have been impossible to digest.
Now, because of Adisa’s abilities, Earth’s Civilization remains orderly without being dragged down by the rapid pace of progress.
Some even suspect that Adisa is a very formidable Strong One; otherwise, how could she get along so well with Mister Jia Yan, appearing to be acquainted for a long time, as if they are not in the same circle, almost unlikely to play together by any means.
But late in the game, despite probing indirectly, they found that Adisa seemed to truly not understand much about Cultivation, so this suspicion weakened considerably.
Yet, the less she knows, the more they recognize Adisa’s abilities.
Lacking combat power and still able to associate with at least the Semi-permanent Star Level Lord Jia Yan as an old acquaintance, what does it imply? It implies that Lady Adisa truly possesses great talents.
Therefore, seeing Adisa displaying a touch of surprise for the first time, each of them understands there’s an issue.
As expected, Adisa did not hide anything and spoke earnestly.
"Near this civilization, there are unexpectedly three high-grade civilizations hiding, probably here to give us trouble. Even I couldn’t detect them; their methods and schemes are truly clever."
Adisa was somewhat surprised that the opponent used some stratagems, which for a game, was quite an impressive performance.
Of course, this is also because Adisa’s system cannot too openly utilize its detection abilities, otherwise how could mere game civilizations escape its scrutiny?
However, now if not detected means not detected, making Adisa feel she needs to reflect on herself.
"Don’t rush, Sovereign Mister, tell us the distance, location, and approximate combat power of the opponent."
Suddenly, a still deep voice brought everyone present out of their slight panic, instantly calming everyone.
For this voice, is from Earth’s most outstanding warrior, also everyone’s refuge in their hearts - Lord Jia Yan.
Lord Jia Yan’s voice, like the deep magnetic baritone of an Earth man, was profoundly pleasing, once spoken, mesmerizing others into instant serenity.
Adisa also snapped out of her slight misstep, smiled faintly at Jia Yan in apology, then continued to report the intelligence she had just gathered via Adisa.
"I just obtained intelligence from the intelligence device about these guys. There are a total of four civilizations, one of which is the civilization we are targeting, nearing high-grade civilization, while the other three are genuine high-grade civilizations hidden nearby in a mining area."
"According to our combat power, engaging them would make victory almost impossible. After all, fighting one high-grade civilization itself would be somewhat strenuous; confronting two, we’re bound to lose. Facing three high-grade civilizations coupled with one near-high-grade civilization, defeat is certain, and there’s a possibility of not even escaping their grasp."
Adisa’s relayed intelligence is extremely precise, even her analysis of combat power was very sure.
Even knowing Jia Yan’s combat power is definitely more than what’s been displayed, exhibiting it in front of so many players or strong ones from game operators isn’t an option.
So, judging by Jia Yan’s previously displayed strength, triumph over the four civilizations ahead is nearly impossible.
"Then let’s retreat."
A captain said seriously.
"Impossible, we charged forward aggressively; now the opponent’s four civilizations are locked onto us. Our spaceship is slower than theirs, even slower, we can’t escape."
Instantly, the entire interior of the meeting hall sullenly quieted, the atmosphere heavy to the point that even a pin drop could be heard.
If when initially joining Earth’s Civilization, everyone lacked many notions, some even thinking that dying at the beginning, ending the game, wasn’t unacceptable; now, everyone’s attitude in the game isn’t as indifferent as at the start.
Many players found their partner here, while a majority sold Earth’s Civilization resources for immense benefit in reality. If they leave, who will compensate for their loss?
