Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito
Chapter 2928 - 49: Severely Wounded Again
In the next instant, he felt a bit desperate as he sensed a force of inevitability strike his back.
It’s over. Even if this blow doesn’t kill me, I’m surely going to be slowed down, and when other forces hit, I’ll be doomed.
Jia Yan felt a sense of despair deep inside.
But in the next moment, a surge of joy rose from his heart.
Because he noticed a metallic force behind him, which, with the full burst of his Brainwave Power, actually blocked the enemy’s force for an instant.
Crack.
Although this metallic force only blocked for a moment, it was enough to resist the strongest part of the Galaxy Intermediate Power.
Following that, the enemy’s power slammed into Jia Yan’s body. Although it caused significant damage, it wasn’t a fatal force, and even pushed Jia Yan forward.
Boom.
His speed suddenly increased.
And because of this attack that was utilized by Jia Yan, the subsequent attacks from the other two Mid Galaxy Peak Strongman didn’t touch Jia Yan. With his increased speed, he dodged them.
Nonetheless, even if he dodged, he still felt like a small, wavering boat in the ocean, unable to stop.
"Ugh."
The attack from the Domain existence was the most unique. Even though it didn’t hit Jia Yan, due to its unique power, it covered a large area and twisted Jia Yan’s entire body.
Because of this, Jia Yan felt like his whole body was broken.
"Even if not dead, seriously injured."
In the external subspace, the Domain strongman calmly stated.
He was extremely confident in his strength, believing that even if Jia Yan wasn’t directly hit, the twist from the domain’s enveloping power would seriously injure or kill him.
Even if he didn’t die, he’d be unable to cultivate for a long time, definitely affecting his power, making him a waste.
"Very well, it seems like he’s still rushing forward with that machine’s power. Let him rush, even if he gets through, he’ll either die or be a cripple."
Outside the subspace, several Mid Galaxy Peak creatures nodded slightly, especially the Frog Creature, who felt proud for restraining Jia Yan and believed they contributed significantly aside from the Domain creatures.
Knowing that even their Lord of the Domain couldn’t kill this existence, and they achieved it with four Mid Galaxy Peak entities, it was a slight redemption of their reputation.
Killing an existence that even the Domain Lord couldn’t, this could be quite renowned if spread, though such words should be whispered, lest their Domain creature gets angry.
Hahaha.
"Let’s go. Although he might still be alive, now that he’s escaped into the Sixth Level Space, we’re too late even if we act."
"Exactly, even if he’s not dead, he’s a cripple. No need to bother."
"A cripple suffers more than a dead man. Heh, our task is complete."
The four Mid Galaxy Peak existence laughed, shaking their heads and leaving.
And within the subspace...
"Eighth degree..."
"Ninth degree..."
"Into the tenth degree... Heh, those four must think I’m either dead or severely injured, not caring about me anymore."
Within the Tenth-degree subspace, Jia Yan finally relaxed his tense emotions completely.
He knew he had escaped a disaster.
"Unexpectedly, at the critical moment, the key savior, besides the Adisa, was just-bought one-time Armor..."
Jia Yan felt a lingering fear, looking back at the one-time Armor he wore.
The four enemies hadn’t noticed Jia Yan was wearing Armor.
Frankly, for a Galactic Grade Existence, many aren’t fond of wearing external items, just like those four, who wore no Armor because countless Strong Ones believed their strength was the true power.
But in reality, at the Galaxy Intermediate stage, certain items can become lifesaving external forces. Although Jia Yan also believed in his strength as true power, he often utilized external items as a strong combat force, not rejecting them at all.
The opponents must have used habitual thinking, assuming Jia Yan was doomed.
But they never expected that Jia Yan wore the newly purchased ultra-strong, one-time, lifesaving Armor.
"It’s not that the Armor was exceptionally great, it just happened to perfectly resist their attack."
Jia Yan looked at the Armor behind him, now completely cracked, and sighed silently.
Recently, he seemed to have a history of buying Armor that didn’t last long before breaking.
This incident was no exception.
Fortunately, he bought three sets.
Buzz buzz buzz.
Inside the Tenth-degree subspace, the Adisa didn’t fly with its usual elegance and speed.
Because a large collection of resources followed Jia Yan inside subspace, which he couldn’t bear to discard, including two sets of unused backup Armor.
"This set is useless now, discard it here in the subspace and put on a new set, lightening Adisa’s load."
Jia Yan discarded the heroically performing set, tossing it into subspace, where it was swiftly devoured by the terrifying Tenth-degree subspace, disintegrating into distorted particles.
Jia Yan was somewhat frightened watching this.
If he were directly exposed to the Tenth-degree subspace now, its distortion wouldn’t consider whether his Space Talent was good, and he couldn’t withstand the tenth-degree twist – he would be instantly devoured.
"Alright, now it’s your turn, Adisa. I really can’t manage my injuries any longer."
Jia Yan donned the new Armor, then felt dizzy.
"Yes, Master, please focus on healing your wounds quickly."
Adisa’s words were filled with worry.
Indeed, though Jia Yan seemed okay, he was actually gravely injured.
While changing Armor, he saw a large crack on his back and abdomen, through the outer exoskeleton. It was supposed to be protected by Bluish defense, yet the Domain’s distortion power surpassed the Subspace Distortion’s harm to Jia Yan.
Jia Yan nodded, then exhaustedly fell into sleep.
He needed time to slowly heal his abdominal injuries.
Though these injuries weren’t as exaggerated as the four Mid Galaxy Peak beings thought, they were significant – among Jia Yan’s top three major injuries, besides a few instances of lost limbs.
The Adisa emitted Flame inside the Tenth-degree subspace, expending its Life Force to pave the way for Jia Yan’s journey.
Meanwhile, Jia Yan focused entirely on healing and restoring his power.
They communicated briefly during this period.
Afterwards, Jia Yan made an extremely important decision.
That was not to return to the Insect Queen’s Power.
Absolutely not returning. Heading back would mean encountering a presence intent on his death within the Insect Queen’s Power. With his current injuries, going back would allow them to easily kill him, and the Insect Queen wouldn’t care about his demise.
Thus, it was better to stay away.
"Ugh, I originally planned to keep my promise and let that ’Rain’ taste my future promotion abilities, but now... I might not even heal before ’Rain’ advances, really like misfortunes never come singly, too tragic."
Jia Yan felt cursed, causing trouble with injuries not even reaching the Central Milky Way Region. After finally returning to the Insect Queen’s domain, he encountered combined attacks from the four great Central Galaxy Peak beings.
