So, she quickly nodded in agreement and advised, "If there’s nothing urgent, just stay there a few days, keep your Sister Xiangxiang company. She must get bored looking after the kids all day long."

Then she started preparing things to take to Wang Xiangxiang with her mom’s help.

It wasn’t anything special, just some small snacks from the shop.

Sister Xiangxiang has a sweet tooth.

Luckily, they were at the shop, so it was convenient to prepare these things.

Yang Qiu took the stuff and left.

In fact, all the talk about having things to do at the shop was just an excuse. Yang Qiu simply wanted to see Wang Xiangxiang.

She even urged Yang Qiu to join in, but Yang Qiu wasn’t in the mood to eat. She just watched Wang Xiangxiang eat and brought up some conversation, first asking about the child.

"The child is with his grandparents. They are free and practically want the child to be with them all day, which makes it easier for me. I just have to nurse him."

As Wang Xiangxiang ate and chatted with Yang Qiu, it wasn’t long before she noticed something was off with Yang Qiu. Her face was all knotted up, as if wanting to say something but too embarrassed to do so.

"Xiaoqiu, do you have something to tell me? You look so troubled. Did something happen at home? You can’t keep it from me."
