Chapter 2019: Chapter 2021: Maybe My Way of Transmigration Is Wrong
None of them lingered outside; they headed straight to Fairy Residence Pavilion.
Inside the Fairy Residence Pavilion it was still those same two rooms. As soon as Xiaoxiao went upstairs she said, "Hubby, this is my friend. I’ll explain the details to you later—right now the two of us have things to talk about..."
She hadn’t even finished when Yang Ming already got it and jumped in, "You two can talk in the room, we won’t come and bother you."
Yang Ming had actually been thinking of asking the people downstairs to prepare some dishes and send them up so they could eat while they talked, but seeing the two of them clearly not in the mood, he swallowed the words, just told them to have food ready so whenever the two wanted to eat, it’d be there.
And just like that, Yang Ming and the others left, and the room was suddenly only Xiaoxiao and You Xueling.
Once the door closed, Xiaoyao immediately grabbed Xiaoxiao and teased, "Xiaoxiao, you’re something, huh. Spill it—what’s with all that hubby-wifey stuff?"
Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes at Xiaoyao and said, "What else could it be? It’s exactly what you saw."
That line shocked Xiaoyao to no end. Someone who couldn’t find a partner in a thousand years suddenly found one—how could that not be shocking?
She smacked Xiaoxiao on the back. "You little shit, hurry up and tell me what the hell happened?"
"Can you not use your hands all the time?"
"I’m just excited you finally found someone, okay?"
Talking as they went further in, the two found a couple of chairs and sat down.
Once seated, Xiaoxiao sighed, "It’s not like I found him. Heaven matched him to me. The moment I arrived I was already in the bridal chamber."
As soon as she said that, Xiaoyao’s eyes blinked like crazy. "And then what, you just got slept with like that?"
"..." Xiaoxiao was speechless. Xiaoyao was still as blunt as ever. "No."
"You’re still trying to hide things from me? Look at the two of you—obviously something already happened. You think you can fool me?"
Xiaoyao shot Xiaoxiao a look, then gave Yang Ming an assessment. "Your man looks pretty decent, seems to really care about you. You’re his number one priority. I was selling misery that hard just now and he didn’t even bite, he was just anxious to go look for you."
"Did you figure out I’m a woman and get jealous? Look at you acting like a little wife! Throwing a mini tantrum there. I even heard that your hubby turns into a total yes-man in front of you. That’s not right, you know. Men like that..."
At first, when Xiaoyao started talking, Xiaoxiao’s lips were still quirking up, but the more she listened, the weirder it got.
This girl was starting to lecture her on how to deal with men again.
That left Xiaoxiao utterly speechless, and she cut in right away, "Okay, you can stop right there. You think I’m still the old me? I’m a married woman now, I know how to get along with him. It’s you I’m worried about—hurry up and tell me what’s going on with you."
"You really ended up in someone else’s body? Sure, this body looks several times better than your old one, but wearing another person’s face... no matter how I look at you, something feels off."
"And what’s with this getup? Cross-dressing as a guy for what? And then selling misery out on the street? Did someone grab you?"
Xiaoxiao fired off a whole string of questions. She wasn’t scared of her possessing someone else’s body—as long as she was alive, that was fine. What scared her was Xiaoyao getting into trouble.
Asked that, Xiaoyao let out a sigh and said, "Xiaoxiao, I think I must’ve transmigrated in the wrong posture."
"What exactly happened?" Xiaoxiao’s brows knit together. At a time like this she was still cracking jokes?
"Ugh, I’m telling you my transmigration posture was wrong and you still don’t believe me. Look at you, at least you’re still wearing your own face. But me? I’m stuck like this, neither human nor ghost. You think I’m not bothered staring at someone else’s face all day?"
