Chapter 1392: Entanglement

Michael found himself elated. Even though he was fighting, even though he was getting exhausted and put to the limits by these Unity Creatures, he was having fun!

After all, being forced into a corner had allowed him to find solutions he wouldn’t otherwise have thought of. It allowed him to become better.

It made him not even want to defeat these creatures. But he knew that that was not sustainable. Even he was starting to feel the effects and the strain of using his Aubility Power nonstop.

So, he had to finish them once and for all.

The Unity Creatures were like lost little rats. Whenever they tried to catch Michael, they would only be grasping at nothing but the air. By the time they saw him, he was already gone.

He was a ghost on the battlefield. Behind one Unity Creature in one moment, and behind another Unity Creature in the next.

Michael looked at his own Unity Saber.

He knew that this wouldn’t be the last time that he would be facing enemies who were far stronger, and more numerous than his own army. So, he needed a way to deal with that.

This was the perfect time for him to test out a new offensive ability that he’d been trying to grasp at this whole time.

Of course, everything hinged on his Quantum Step. Its true power allowed him to see the possibilities that he could take because of its immense speed that not even these Unity Creatures could catch.

And so, he stood in the air, looking down at the Unity Creatures below.

"Thank you for teaching me," he said to them.

And then, he commanded his Nascent Armor to unleash their powers on both his arms and his legs. Empowering his extremities to its very limits.

Golden aura emitted out of his body as he drew deep down into his core.

Then, he disappeared.

Suddenly, the Unity Creatures found themselves unable to move. It was they had been captured in some kind of viscous liquid, miring them from moving anyway they wanted.

Then, behind the Unity Creature, Michael appeared.

Not just one one, but all four Unity Creatures.

It was as if Michael had separated himself into four clones!

But in truth, these weren’t his clones. It was his actual body. It was just a product of his insane speed.

He was moving in between these four Unity Creatures in quick succession that his after images looked like they were just his real body!

Then, Michael swung his sword.

An entire X-shaped projectile appeared through the Unity Creature’s body, made out of two crescents colliding with each other.

Before the Unity Creatures even knew what was happening, the X-shaped projectile had already cleaved through its body.

What followed after was an explosion of Unity, with prismatic globules bursting out like they were fireworks in the night.

The Unity Creatures, which had once been made out of Unity armor that were seemingly indestructible, found themselves bisected in four equal parts, just like that.

And in the dark void of space, Michael’s voice echoed.

"Quantum Entanglement: Cleaving Darkness."

Below him, the prismatic mana globules all slowly floated down into the dark solid ground as if they were snow.

Now, the whole entirety of the island had succumbed once more into silence.

Michael looked at his own hands, a smile forming on his face.

Finally, he had constructed his own form, his very own unique offensive sword style that would allow him to fight against masters themselves.

And the best part about it all was that his new move was effective no matter how many people were in that sphere of influence.

As long as they were within his reach, Michael could include them in the Quantum Entanglement with ease.

One could even call it his ’Finishing Move’.

He took a deep breath and pumped his fists, celebrating.

And it seemed that he wasn’t the only one in a celebratory mood. The monolith in the middle of the island suddenly emitted an extremely bright white light from the entirety of its surface.

It encompassed everything, even the darkness of the space above them.

Michael tried to keep his eyes open, but found himself unable to see anything. White enveloped his vision.

A minute later, the light dissipated.

He looked towards the center of the island, and saw that the Monolith was gone.

Instead, it was replaced by a strange... house?

It looked like an igloo, but made out of black stone and mysterious and exotic materials instead of ice.

Michael slowly approached this new structure.

He frowned. Was this a reward from the Antique after finishing its test?

The last time, he was rewarded with the strange cube that allowed him to connect phones using the internet.

And it looked like this time, he was given this strange, black igloo building.

Of course, Michael still exercised caution. There was no rule saying that it was actually a reward from the Antique. It could very well be a trap as well, though, that possibility was very low.

He eventually found his way at the entrance, towards the circular door made out of that same black material that the monolith was made out of.

It wasn’t that big. Maybe enough for one person to live in comfortably.

He used his Supreme Talent to survey the structure, but found that there was no strange mechanism that was hidden inside.

Though, he was not sure about that. The inside of this building was completely empty in his eyes, which he didn’t trust. No way anything from the Ancient Era was simple.

After enough time of observation, Michael finally found it appropriate to open the door.

It opened with ease, with no creaks as it swung by its hinges.

Everything was white inside. He lowered his head as he entered, and found himself in a space with nothing but whiteness around him. Absolutely nothing inside.

"What is this?"

He inspected every inch, but found that the inside was actually endless!
