Chapter 207: Aaaninja Chronysith Eternus

Jacob had spent about 30 minutes in the room doing absolutely nothing, boredom had started to creep in, he looked around but it looked to him like nothing was going to happen. So he thought about what to do. The answer was simple.

He could not endure two more hours of idleness. He was unlike other students who needed to unpack, or catch up on their studies, or socialize awkwardly. So he did the only thing someone in his position would do.

Two words. <Omniversal Passage>, it had become one of his favorite abilities, alongside a plethora of others, he would leave a clone in the room to sit and do absolutely nothing, while the main body explored the Omniverse.

It sounded like a good enough idea.

He quickly closed his eyes, allowing his massive spiritual energy to swirl around him uncontrollably. when he opened them he was in an expanse of space. His eyes flickered to the left, and then to the right. A clone was left in his wake, sitting idly on the mattress.

The entire construct looked as though it were woven together by different colorful strings, giving the space a rainbow-like appearance.

It was magnificent, but it was not infinite in the sense that it was vast, it was rather narrow. It was only infinite in the sense that whenever Jacob stretched his hand through the narrow walls, his body was allowed to interact with a different world, a world of his choosing.

He walked endlessly, scanning all the different worlds that he wanted to visit with an excited smile on his face, he almost looked like a little child running through a bed of flowers.

It was until he came to a dead stop, after he noticed something, something rather unusual. Unusual in the sense that it didn’t seem out of place, but it was a mystery to Jacob how it was there in the first place.

A young man sat in the middle of the pathway, his legs were crossed and his eyes were closed, but his features were striking. This man was undeniably handsome in a way that made even Jacob a little jealous, but he never allowed it show in his reactions.

The man had a refined face, pale skin, and snow-white hair, flowing all the way down to his shoulders, and a white beard stubble plastered on his chin. He held no weapons, but looked scary enough that no one would try to attack him on the spot.

This was one of the few things that surprised Jacob in his life, to find someone casually sitting in the passage way was something he had neither expected nor planned for.

"Hey! Identify yourself, who are you?" Jacob called out, his words echoed, bouncing off the wall-like structures.

The man clearly heard him, but showed no signs of shock, or surprise. He instead stood up slowly, regally, as though he were trained to keep his composure in all situations.

He opened his eyes for the first time after taking a breath. His impossibly intricate rainbow colored eyes resembling miniature cosmic clocks blinked at Jacob with otherworldly calmness. His emotions were tranquil, like someone who had found inner peace a long time ago.

"Apologies for the obstruction. The name is Aaaninja." The man said in a soft but commanding voice. "Aaaninja Chronysith Eternus."

The name landed with a thud in Jacob’s ears, it carried a lot of weight, and it was evident.

Jacob could sense an immense level of energy coming from this man the second he stood up. But more than that, he felt rather jealous.

’Cool white hair, beautiful eyes, a fucking badass name.’ Jacob mused internally, furrowing his brows as he realized what he was thinking, this was the first time he had ever seen someone besides him who made his features look rather normal. It was almost infuriating.

"That’s a cool name, I’m Jacob Ironfell..." Jacob nearly winced the second he said it. His name almost paled in comparison to the one he just heard this man say. "...And I’m confused as to why you’re here, and what it is that you seek?"

"I could say the same. Jacob." Aaaninja responded with a smile, everything he did seemed to be in slow motion, but extremely fast at the same time. As though the fabrics of time and space were expanding and contracting in orbit around this young man, moving to his every whim.

’Definitely has something to do with the eyes.’ Jacob thought before he moved closer, just about two steps.

"I always thought this was a passageway designed for me, and me alone, I had never expected to see anyone else here. But now I’m guessing you have the same ability." Jacob said.

"My ability is akin to a passage way, but I suspect it’s rather different from yours." Aaaninja responded in a calm tone, radiating a level of energy that must have allowed people to just be calm around him.

"My power allows me to visit different worlds at will, whatever world exists in the vast multiverse—I can visit, and adapt to their atmosphere with ease." Jacob spoke, pride all in his tone, he was still rather jealous of this man, and wanted to show him by all means that he was also powerful.

Aaaninja just smiled, he had not particularly looked at Jacob the whole time, as he seemed rather occupied with business of his own, he ran his hand alongside the frame of the structure and breathed rather deeply.

"That would explain why our paths crossed. Our abilities are similar, but different." Aaaninja ran his hand through his hair. Jacob bit his lower lip, almost drawing blood.

"What do you mean?"

"You can visit any world, I can visit any time. Our paths crossing is nothing but a coincidence." Aaaninja’s words seemed to roll easily off his tongue. His eyes were focused directly on Jacob now, he also acknowledged how good-looking the young man was. But he did not swing that way, therefore his gaze wouldn’t linger for long.

"Your skill is time manipulation then." Jacob asked, this was the first person he had met in his life whom he had not been able to directly obtain any form of information on immediately. It made him rather uneasy.

"It’s far more intricate, but I guess you could say that..."
