They did not clash steel to steel as many would expect, and it was partly due to the fact that Jacob was not wielding a single weapon, but also due to the fact that the fighting style the young woman displayed almost immediately was unique.

Her form and movements were reckless, abandoned, and spontaneous. She swung her blades tremendously quickly, jumping into the air as she spun around.

The edges of the blades aimed violently at Jacob’s nape, screaming through the thick air. The boy ducked instantly and grabbed one of her feet, slamming her into the hard, red ground in one swift motion. The young woman rolled over as though she had no gravitational field around her, instantly flipping onto her feet and charging at him again. Just as she was about to strike, she vanished from her position, instantly appearing in the air behind him and performing a scissor kick in the air, aimed directly at his back. She clacked her heels together, and a pair of sharp, dagger-like knives slid through the soles of her shoes. These knives were meant to penetrate Jacob directly in the spine.

But just like he had known every single one of her movements, he predicted that with 100% accuracy as well, and as such, he merely turned around and grabbed her ankle hard. The impact of her ankle meeting his palm sent a gust of wind flying in all directions, blowing through both their hairs.

The young woman’s eyes widened almost instantly, but she could not properly process her next action before Jacob pulled her into a hard fist, which passed through her head as easily as a knife through butter.

Jacob came to find that her face did not break, neither was there any blood. In fact, there was no scream or sign of pain, and her face did not even feel like human skin as his fist had just passed through like a hard nail passing through jelly.

The young woman’s body instantly dropped to the floor. A hole had appeared in her head as the part that Jacob punched fell to the floor like a lump of jelly.

The hole left in her head had purple linings. It was as though her body were made completely out of purple clay. Her body scrambled to its knees, moving its hand around and looking for the missing piece in her head while muttering inaudibly.

Jacob merely watched as this young woman’s body was putting on an incredibly strange and almost disgusting act. Her hands found the piece and immediately lodged it back into place. The gaps began to seal, and before long, her face was as good as new.

Jacob’s gaze did not leave her even after she got up and breathed in a breath of fresh air.

She could instantly tell by the look on Jacob’s face that he was not particularly fazed by what she had just done, but there was a hint of disgust in his expression.

“Yes! I know! It’s unbefitting of a woman to behave in such a way. But if you know the things that they did to us…” she spoke with a crack in her voice. Now that Jacob could get a good look at her, he could tell that she was beautiful. Her body, even while small and not as voluptuous as Elyssara, was still curvy. “They performed all sorts of experiments, they beat us, they burned us, they tortured us. We were not allowed to have children any longer as these men now had robots that could satisfy them better than we ever could.”

She eventually paused to gather herself. But Jacob could just tell that she hadn’t finished speaking.

“I… I am a product of that suffering. They exposed me to nuclear radiation that turned my body into this elastic, gooey, and inhumane material. And now… now I feel no pain on the outside…. But the inside… all I feel is pain. Sheer, unbridled, unending pain.” She hissed through her teeth as she looked at Jacob, tears beginning to form in her eyes, but she would not let them drop. Instead, she wiped her face with the back of her hands and grabbed her long ponytail for the umpteenth time. “I’m sorry, but you are a scourge, a disease, and a virus. And it is my sole mission to bring about the extinction of your race.”

“Well, now you’re just transferring aggression.” Jacob responded for the first time since he punched her.

“Call it whatever you like, but it is the truth. The world is better off without men.”

“What a drag.” Jacob muttered under his breath as the young woman lunged towards him again. She spun her hair blades at him at high frequency, causing him to parry with the wrists of his hands.

Since blades could not hurt or cut him, there was no point in dodging them anymore. Even as he parried, he felt next to nothing every time the edge of the extremely sharp blades clashed against his wrist over and over.

“I see… you’re immune to stabs and cuts.” She smiled knowingly and moved through the air with pinpoint precision, but this time, instead of using the blades to attack Jacob directly, she turned them around and jabbed at him with the blunt ends.

This time, Jacob weaved through the air as she attacked like a rabid dog. Most times, she could almost hit him because her movements were erratic.

“You’re like a rodent. All you do is avoid, and avoid, and avoid. But eventually, rats get killed by cats.” She said as she attacked him relentlessly.

“I don’t care for your analogies. I win when I want and how I want.” Jacob grabbed her by the arm and spun her around, kicking her directly in the spine with his knee, the impact causing her to push her moderately sized chest outward.

Jacob then spun her around again and, with both hands clamped together, punched through her abdomen in one strike. He figured it would do much to eliminate her, but he needed to see the extent of what she was talking about, and if she had any core.

Unsurprisingly, she did not possess one. And she was basically unkillable from the looks of things.

This would lead him to his next plan of action…
