"Not even Mommy and Daddy?" Jie Duo asked.

"Not even them," Qin Mei replied.

Jie Duo tilted her head, thinking for a moment. "Okay. It’s our secret. We won’t tell anyone."

"Such a good girl." Qin Mei breathed a sigh of relief and gently pinched the little girl’s cheek.

"Fourth Aunt, I’m uncomfortable," Jie Duo said, squirming a little.

’How could she be comfortable in wet pants?’ Qin Mei thought. She considered just taking them off for her, but then had another thought. ’Xiao Duo is a little girl, and she’s wearing a dress. It wouldn’t be appropriate.’

"Come on, I’ll take you to buy some pants." Qin Mei took Xiao Duo’s hand. She had just seen a general store not far away. By the time they bought new pants for Xiao Duo and got her changed, the movie probably still wouldn’t be over.

The woman ignored him and walked straight away.

A minute later, a woman leading a two- or three-year-old girl came out of the restroom. She took one look at Jie Jingchen, decided he was a creep, and immediately scooped up her daughter and fled.

’What normal man would be waiting so eagerly outside a women’s restroom?’ she thought. ’He’s definitely staking the place out. The creeps these days are getting more and more brazen, lying in wait right outside the women’s room!’

Jie Jingchen waited and waited, but Qin Mei and Jie Duo never came out. He was getting so desperate he considered just charging into the women’s restroom himself.
