Chapter 713: You Cannot Break the Law

Fu Mingxue sneered, "Keep yapping, and it won’t just be your legs. Believe it or not, I’ll kill you both right here."

The two men were horrified by her savage words.

"Y-you, killing people is a crime—"

"Hah. Your ignorance is terrifying. I’m a woman who was ambushed on the road. If I were to kill you two, it would be called justice, or self-defense. At worst, they’d slap me with excessive self-defense. I’d be fine, but you two would die for nothing, your names forever cursed."

The expressions on the two men’s faces were as foul as if they’d just eaten shit.

Fu Mingxue didn’t want to argue with them any longer.

Fu Mingxue kicked the unconscious man to the side of the road.

Then, without hesitation, she did the same to the other man.

He was kicked aside, too.

On second thought, she took off their jackets and used the sleeves to tie their hands.

With that taken care of, she hopped on her e-bike and sped off toward the factory.

She arrived at the security office at the factory gate.

"Group Leader Fu, is something wrong?" The speaker was Captain Fang.

Normally, Group Leader Fu went straight into the factory. But today, she had come into their security office.

"Captain Fang, perfect, you’re on duty. I ran into two guys who ambushed me on the way here. I tied them up. Could you do me a favor and take them to the police station? Please file a report on my behalf. If any issues come up, come and find me."

Captain Fang was shocked to hear this.

His expression instantly grew serious. "Group Leader Fu, you ran into assailants? Are you alright?"

"My man taught me a few moves, so I’m fine. Anyway, you should go get them now. Otherwise, they might wake up or their backup might show up, and they’ll get away."

Upon hearing that, Captain Fang didn’t dare delay with more questions. He immediately called over the other two guards on duty with him.

"Let’s move, we’ve got to catch them."

The three men rushed out.

Fu Mingxue did not go with them.

’With the blows I landed, on top of breaking one of each of their legs, they definitely won’t be going anywhere for a while. Not unless someone comes to get them.’

’But that didn’t matter—they’d already outed themselves as being from the Li Family.’

’You can run, but you can’t hide.’

Fu Mingxue walked into her office, looking perfectly composed.

She was completely unfazed by what had just happened.

She went to the Group Six meeting as usual—

Meanwhile, Captain Fang and his two colleagues found the two men lying by the roadside.

They were unconscious, their hands bound by the sleeves of their own thick, padded jackets. In this weather, their faces were already turning red from the cold.

They figured if they’d been any later, the cold would have either woken the thugs up or caused them serious injury.

The three of them looked utterly astonished.

’Did Group Leader Fu really mess them up this badly?’

’If she did... then Group Leader Fu is a total badass.’

"Captain Fang, are these the ones Group Leader Fu mentioned?"
