The pain was so excruciating that Meng Yunhan’s expression could not help but become warped. She glared at Old Madam Han and asked angrily, "Mom, what are you doing?" Had this old woman gone mad? She was hitting her as if she wanted her life. Just now, if she were not careful, Meng Yunhan was sure that the old woman would have cracked her arm.
"What am I doing? What am I doing?" Old Madam Han was so angry that she was shaking. She threw her cane to one corner and stretched her claws toward Meng Yunhan. "Meng Yunhan! I am telling you to quit while you still have time. Don’t act shamelessly with me. I am telling you that I have already reached the end of my patience with you." Old Madam Han pointed her finger at Meng Yunhan and snorted angrily. "If you cannot sit still, then get lost! Anyway, having you as a daughter-in-law is no better than having no daughter-in-law at all."
If anything, it would have been better if her son had never married Meng Yunhan in the first place.
Meng Yunhan stiffened. She could coax Han Yichen but she had no confidence when it came to Old Madam Han. This old hag had never liked her ever since she married Han Yichen. Old Madam Han had made things difficult for her in one way or another. If Old Madam Han chased her away, then Meng Yunhan was worried that she would really chase her back to her maternal home. All these years, she had never contacted her parents. Meng Yunhan did not even know if they were still alive or not.

Old Madam Han snorted and then turned to look at her two grandchildren, and when she saw them bleeding, her eyes suddenly filled with tears. She was so angry that she wished to hit Meng Yunhan a few more times; this woman was really too much. "Ruochen, Ah Hong, don’t worry too much. I have sent your second uncle to raise money... as long as we try hard enough, maybe we will be able to raise the fees."

"Grandmother, my brother and I have already paid the fees." Han Ruochen caught her brother’s wrist and spoke to her grandmother with a smile. Han Ruochen knew that if she told her old grandmother that she was the one who raised the money, Old Madam Han would start worrying. So she told her that it was Han Yong who borrowed the money.

She pulled Han Yong and Han Ruochen aside and said to them. "That’s more than four thousand yuan. Where did you get the money from? Ah Yong, Ruochen, I know that you are worried about your father, but you should think carefully. Money is lifeless, and people are alive. There will be solutions to a problem. Your mom is out of line, but you two should also think of yourselves and not do anything foolish."
