Chapter 561: Settling the Score

Chloe Sharp seemed completely unfazed by the scene. She had the look of someone enjoying a good show, her phone held steady as she prepared to record the atrocity.

On the screen, Lawson had already pulled down his pants, leering at Melody Summers. The other man pointed to his own belt, urging her on with a slimy expression, "Hurry up, you little bitch. Don’t you know how to take a man’s pants off?"

Facing two men who were much taller than her, the Melody Summers on the screen remained remarkably calm. A moment later, Chloe Sharp watched as she seemed to give in, slowly reaching her hands toward the men.

A smile played on Chloe Sharp’s lips as she watched, but in the next second, the unexpected happened—

For some unknown reason, the two men suddenly fell straight to the ground as if they had fallen asleep!

When Lawson fell, his pants were still tangled around his legs. He tripped over them, and the back of his head slammed hard against the floor with a dull THUD.

But even so, he didn’t wake up. He lay perfectly still on the floor, as if he were dead.

Chloe Sharp’s eyes went wide. She stared at the scene on her phone screen in disbelief—

’How is this possible?!’

’Are they possessed?’

Before Chloe Sharp could even react, the image on the screen blurred. Melody Summers had suddenly spun around and was lunging right at her!

Chloe Sharp couldn’t dodge in time. Melody Summers grabbed her by the neck and shoulders, shoving her backward with immense force—

With a loud THUD, the phone Chloe Sharp had been using to record fell straight to the ground. She was tackled by Melody Summers, her own head hitting the cold floor.

Chloe Sharp’s vision went black. A wave of excruciating pain and dizziness washed over her, nearly causing her to pass out.

The next second, before Chloe Sharp could scream for help, a wad of cloth was shoved into her mouth, gagging her cries of pain and calls for help.

Melody Summers stuffed the rag into Chloe Sharp’s mouth, then pulled a rope from god-knows-where. She turned to the stunned Nina Summers and yelled in a low voice, "What are you standing there for? Get over here and tie her up!"

"Oh! Oh, okay!" Nina Summers reacted quickly. Although she didn’t understand the situation or why the two men had collapsed, she knew she just had to do what Melody Summers said.

Just as Melody Summers and Nina Summers were hastily tying up Chloe Sharp, a shrill scream suddenly echoed through the spacious room. "Help—! Someone, help—!"

The sudden shout startled Nina Summers. She whipped her head around to see Joelle Lawson, who had been cowering in the corner, suddenly get to her feet. She was running for the door, yelling at the top of her lungs to attract attention.

Seeing this, Melody Summers didn’t hesitate. She dropped Chloe Sharp, whose hands were already bound, and shot up, lunging at Joelle Lawson. A sharp backhand slap across Joelle Lawson’s face cut off her screams.

The world went dark for Joelle Lawson, and she staggered a few steps before steadying herself.

She tried to scream again, but Melody Summers was faster, clamping a hand tightly over her mouth.

Unable to make a sound, Joelle Lawson instinctively opened her mouth to bite Melody Summers’s hand. But she seemed to have forgotten that all her teeth had been pulled out. Her gums slammed painfully against the bones of Melody’s hand. Her vision went black from the pain, and tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.

Seeing this, Melody Summers pulled another rag from her pocket. She grabbed Joelle Lawson’s hair with one hand and stuffed the rag into her mouth with the other, preventing any more screaming.

Just then, Nina Summers finished tying up Chloe Sharp. She walked over to the two unconscious men, pulled off their belts, and used them to bind Joelle Lawson’s hands and feet.

Once she was sure Joelle Lawson couldn’t fight back, Nina Summers finally breathed a sigh of relief.

The room fell quiet for a moment, filled only by the sounds of Chloe Sharp and Joelle Lawson squirming and their muffled whimpers.

Melody Summers caught her breath. Before Nina Summers could speak, she walked over to the two men on the floor, her face grim and without saying a word.

’These two bastards dared to humiliate me. They’re going to pay the price. Now, it’s time to settle the score.’

Melody Summers bent down and picked up the iron rod they had dropped on the floor. She weighed it in her hand. Then, her eyes narrowed. Aiming the other end of the rod at Lawson’s exposed crotch, she swung her arm in a wide arc and brought it down with all her might!

Once, twice, three times...

The iron rod struck flesh with wet, squelching sounds, like pounding meat paste. In moments, Lawson’s lower body was nothing but a blurry puddle of blood.

A look of disgust crossed Melody Summers’s face. She walked over to the other man and did the same, bringing the rod down repeatedly on his crotch.

’These animals must have spent their lives preying on others. This is the retribution they deserve.’

Watching Melody Summers’s brutal methods and smelling the metallic scent of blood in the air, both Chloe Sharp and Joelle Lawson were stunned.

As if completely terrified, they both stopped struggling. They could only stare with wide, horrified eyes at what Melody Summers was doing.

Nina Summers seemed a little frightened too. She just stood frozen in place, staring blankly at Melody Summers.

Then, as if a thought struck her, Nina Summers suddenly left Joelle Lawson and Chloe Sharp and walked toward Melody Summers with a frown.

Melody Summers thought Nina was going to stop her, but Nina simply bent down in silence and picked up the other iron rod from the floor.

The iron rods were as thick as a baby’s arm and quite heavy. Nina Summers had to put some effort into lifting it off the ground.

Holding the heavy iron rod, Nina Summers suddenly looked up at Joelle Lawson nearby.

Seeing Nina Summers looking at her with the iron rod in hand, Joelle Lawson’s pupils contracted. A violent shiver ran down her spine. ’Is Nina going to hit me with that rod?’

The thought broke a cold sweat out across her back. ’With my small frame, one swing from Nina and I’d be a goner!’

But Nina Summers only gave Joelle Lawson a silent glance before turning away.

She looked at the two men on the floor, took a deep breath, and gripped one end of the iron rod with both hands. She lifted it vertically, aiming it at one of the men’s mouths—

Then, using all her strength, she aimed and slammed it down hard on the man’s mouth!

With a sickening SQUELCH, warm blood splattered onto Nina Summers’s face. The man’s mouth was smashed in by the rod, and torrents of blood mixed with a few teeth gushed out.

Nina Summers wiped the blood from her face, then turned and viciously slammed the rod into the other man’s mouth!

Thanks to the effects of the Enchanting Secret Medicine, even though their crotches had been brutally smashed and their teeth shattered, the two men on the floor still didn’t wake up. Only the bulging veins on their foreheads and the tears seeping from the corners of their eyes revealed the agony they were suffering.

Nina Summers gasped for a couple of breaths, dropped the blood-stained iron rod, and turned to Melody Summers. "Sis, what do we do now?"
