Nyx facepalmed. "You know when people get married, or have sex or date? Or just have sex because they're physically drawn to them? You desire someone because they are appealing to you, emotionally, physically, because of their status or because they treat you in a certain way that makes you feel good!"

"Well I think you are gorgeous, intelligent and have the most beautiful soul in the world. Is that what you mean?"

'No one has ever said any of those things to me before, men just try to fuck me or take me out. This guy doesn't have a clue but he says so sincere and amazing as that?!'

"Why are you embarrassed? Did I say something wrong? I'm sorry."

Nyx kissed him. Zander didn't know what to do so he just stood there.

'What is she doing? I've seen people kiss before but why is she kissing me? I don't even know how to kiss.'

"Zander. Are you just going to stand there or are you going to kiss back? I kissed you because you said those really nice things and no one has ever told me I'm intelligent or had a beautiful soul before." She smiled.

"You don't have to kiss me but it's a little awkward just standing here with my lips pressed on yours and you doing literally nothing."

'She is now sad, embarrassed and disappointed. I don't want her to feel that way.'

"I would like to kiss you but I have never kissed anyone before. Can you please help me understand?" Zander asked formally.

It was awkward but the demon wasn't going to give up. She knew he needed help and she wanted to be the one to help Zander understand this world without taking advantage of him or losing his trust. She understood there was something different about him and that his abilities were not normal, not that the abilities attracted her to him. His amazing face, body, but more importantly his honesty and sincerity did. He cared about her brains and her soul, and that was what was most attractive thing about him for her.

She sensed it right away and her demon art was urging her to charm him, seduce him, rip his clothes off and lie to him just to get what her body wanted. Despite all of that, she fought off her urges and her demon art because she wanted to get to know Zander the right way.

'I will not deceive him and I will teach him what it means to be a person,' she thought confidently. 'I just need to be patient with him.'

"You are very handsome and sincere. Please call me Nyx if you want. As for this kiss, if you want, grab me like this." Nyx grabbed his hands and gently placed them around her back, softly and not sexually.

"Thank you. I would like to kiss you." Zander blushed again.

'What am I feeling and why do I want to kiss her? I have not met anyone so special like this before. How did I miss her while watching Earth?'

"Now, look me in the eyes and lean forward and press your lips on mine gently. I will wrap my arms around your neck and hopefully, you enjoy your first kiss!" She smiled.

'She is happy again. Nyx is a very nice person and I can trust her. There is no desire to deceive me despite her abilities urging her to do so.'

"I will try my best." He said while slowly leaning in and accidentally bumping his head on her forehead.

'She isn't mad?'

Nyx kissed him and Zander awkwardly kissed back, enjoying the sensation of her plush, warm lips. She gently used her hand to touch his hair and he pulled her in slightly closer.

"Good. Now, when I open my mouth and use my tongue, try to copy ok?"

"I understand."

Zander tried to figure out what she meant and follow her lead, but he was sloppy, awkward and couldn't stop seeing her emotions and noticed she wasn't even getting frustrated. She was relaxed, happy and patient with him until she eventually pulled away.

"Not bad for a first time honestly!" She said while looking up, staring him in the eyes, arms still wrapped around his neck and his around her back.

"Anyway, that is what happens when you feel a physical and emotional connection to someone. Now, can we have a talk or do you want me to leave?"

'Her emotions are beautiful. She is caring, relieved, concerned, understanding and honest. I have never seen anyone on Earth with such traits. I don't want her to leave but I don't want to force her to stay.'

"I would love for you to stay, but I am very tired. Can we talk tomorrow?"

"I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it over here tomorrow. But maybe in a few days? I'm sorry Zander, it's not because of you… I just have obligations I must attend to."

Zander frowned. 'Honest, feeling guilty, sad. I feel like there is something else I am missing and I have never felt that before. I wish she would just tell me what it was.'

"Then I will make you a deal. I will talk with you before I sleep if you tell me who you really are. I do not believe someone was such a pure soul who cannot see me tomorrow is just a common demon."

'Shit.' She thought.

'What do I do?!'

"Well, do we have a deal?" Zander smiled kindly, asking in a less formal way.

Nyx's mind raced with emotions. She didn't want him to get to know her as the demon princess she was, she wanted him to get to know her as just a regular person. She also didn't want to leave because she was curious about the first god to ever visit Earth.

'Honesty. I need to be straightforward. That's the only way he's going to trust me.'
