Meanwhile, over in the space of the latest player in the grand game.

Seth existed.

He did not stand, even though he stood. He did not see even though he looked. He did not love even though he was alive.

He...existed.

His form, humanoid and now completely naked, floated at the center of this little universe of his.

The clothes, although very strong, had not been able to survive the direct violent energy wave of the expanding and growing universe.

And since it has been a while since he interacted with the rest of the feline Assembly, he did not have any access to new clothes for the time being.

So, he was naked.

His glowing white eyes scanned his environment, seeing nothing but darkness and a few gas clouds, whatever had survived long enough to continue existing with him inside his Alphaverse.

Seth’s mind ran fast, so fast that it shocked even him. He began to understand a little about how Kael’s mind worked and he was flabbergasted.

No wonder, he thought to himself as he spun his body. No wonder it felt like he was talking to someone who knew the past and the present at the same time.

Seth’s little universe was definitely not as powerful as Kael’s, it wasn’t even stable. There was no structure within as of yet and everything was dark save for the shimmering white barrier that bordered the Alphaverse.

But having a little universe was still no small thing. Seth’s mind was connected to every string of energy that flowed inside this space. He could feel his control over it.

Although weak, he still had control.

Finally, he had achieved something worthwhile. He finally had something that would give him a better chance in this war.

Seth’s mind processed all that had happened as he moved the Alphaverse from within.

He used Kael’s energy, basically stealing from the All-King to create this universe of his.

Seth had stolen food from a lion’s mouth, the most dangerous lion ever, and had survived to tell the tale.

He couldn’t rejoice though. Two things bothered him deeply. Even with this newfound source of power, Seth did not yet feel safe.

He felt safer, yes, but not completely safe that he was capable of surviving anything.

He wished there was a spot for him to sit down but there wasn’t. He couldn’t and did not have the power to create matter from thin air so he could only settle for a makeshift telekinetic force.

The Slime God, Change, had been released, just as Kael had intended. Now, the mad god was set loose on the whole universe and the only person capable of locking him up again was also busy trying to destroy the universe.

Seth was his Alphaverse, and his Alphaverse was him. When Change had punched the barrier of the Alphaverse, casting it into the mortalverse with a single blow, Seth had felt it.

It felt like every single atom in his body was smashed by a planet-sized hammer. Overkill was an understatement.

Seth and his Alphaverse only survived because Change had not had any intentions of killing him.

That punch was more or less treated like a spank on the buttocks to the slime god, a warning for Seth almost swallowing a Heavenly Realm that did not belong to him.

After feeling that blow, Seth was convinced that if Change had actually intended to crush his Alphaverse, he would have been able to do it.

That blow had sent him hurling through the void and leaving a trail of broken space-time fields in his wake.

At least he survived that, but the Slime God was a threat that hung out there. There was no telling what he would do next.

And there was also that Ant God. But that should be taken care of since Order was busy keeping Change in check and holding him back.

The two cosmic entities were keeping each other at bay and allowing Seth some breathing space.

But the main threat to Seth’s life was not them. That was the second thing he was worried about.

The main threat to his existence was that Primordial Lion, the All-King.

Seth had stolen from the All-King, he had used what belonged to the Golden Lion to strengthen himself.

Neither of them was friends in the first place, and even if they were, Kael would still kill him for it.

The All-King would definitely retaliate soon. He couldn’t do so back in Myriad Heaven with that clone because he was limited.

But out in the open, the resources of the All-King were vast and terrifying, so vast that it was worth being very afraid of.

Seth was taking a gamble, hoping that he would be able to get strong emotions and not fear the All-King again in a short amount of time.

The All-King would visit Seth to correct this mistake. It wasn’t a matter of if, it was just a matter of when.

His eventual actions were inevitable and Seth would have to prepare very fast.

"Seth!"

Seth’s white eyes narrowed as he turned and looked in a certain direction.

"Seth, I can sense your energy, I know this is you!" The voice came again.

Seth recognized it the first time.

It belonged to his father.

"Seth, we just want to talk, we can help!" The other voice came from Zayna.

Seth didn’t move, he didn’t say anything. He wanted to be free, free from his father’s plans.

How had the Luthor Patriarch even found him? Was there a tracking device?

Seth sighed, he wondered if he could now exempt himself from the antics of his father with his powers. After all, his father’s schemes were no longer his concern.

He even contemplated not allowing them to enter or even answering them. Just leaving them in silence and forgetting about their fate.

But Seth realized something, fortunately for him, his Alphaverse was bare. If he wanted to get stronger now, as the master of this little universe, he needed resources.

He needed components, living components who could be baptized in the power of freedom to help him grow.

And most especially to help him fight back the forces of The Conquering.

Coming to this conclusion, Seth made a swift decision and decided to open his Alphaverse.
