Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World

Chapter 981: The Old Farmer and The Blue-Eyed Man

The mind of the All-King and the Luthor Patriarch were both different and unique.

The signal node could not transfer power; both parties were simply too strong for that.

The Luthor Patriarch was at the pinnacle of Spirit Power, and the All-King…was himself.

Both parties could not use the Signal Node to control each other even if they tried.

But they could use it to share information so intimately that it would look like they were in the same place.

A shared mental space was quickly created once both parties had activated the signal node.

This shared mental space was similar to a virtual realm that existed solely between two intelligent entities.

Inside it, it was complete with a vast swat of land, rolling hills, rivers, clear skies, tall mountains, and even animals.

These animals were not fake, even though they were virtual. They were a byproduct of Kael's overwhelming power and the sheer number of laws he had under his command.

Even his mind leaked this aura, and it affected the shared space that they created in their minds.

The Luthor Patriarch could not create things with such detail in his mind, but he contributed something that the All-King did not.

Sentience.

The Luthor Patriarch had already reached a level where he could create sentience in the minds of dead things that did not even exist.

He had attempted to do this for the undead carrion beetles, and now, he had subconsciously done it in this place.

The power of the Luthor Patriarch and the All-King clashed violently on a microscopic scale. As the terrain was set up, more and more animals began to appear.

Amidst all these creations, a tall tree appeared at the top of a hill where a breeze blew casually.

The sun hung high in the sky, and the tree canopy cast a dark shadow on the sloppy ground.

At the base of this tree sat an old man.

The old man was short and dressed like a farmer. A straw hat rested on his head and covered a part of his old, wrinkly face.

Based on his expression, he looked very satisfied right now. His smile was filled with pure joy and a lack of worry about the things of the world.

As the wind blew into his face, lifting his straw hat a little, he caught the figure of a tall man walking up to him from below.

The tall man was slim and wearing a nice black cloak on his body. The cloak would have covered his hands if he were not using them to climb the mountain with serious effort.

By the time he reached the mountain, the old farmer sitting on the ground couldn't see that the tall man had striking blue eyes and light blue hair.

Both the old farmer and the man with blue eyes and hair looked human and ordinary.

The tall blue-eyed man came to stand in front of the old farmer, allowing himself to be shielded from the rays of the sun under the green canopy.

He looked down at the old farmer with a strange expression on his face.

"All-King?" The tall blue-eyed man asked. He already knew who it was; he was just slightly surprised.

The old man nodded his head, then raised his head upward; only then could the tall blue-eyed man see the golden hue in the old man's brown eyes.

"Don't mind me," The old man said in a frail elderly voice that was so unlike the All-King everyone knew, "It's not every time I can take the liberty to feel so…weak.

Every day I am charged with enough power to annihilate most things that exist and will exist. Let me enjoy this one."

The old farmer smiled and rested his head back on the tree bark.

The tall blue-eyed man sneered and scoffed, "You enjoy the sensation of being weak?" He asked.

The old man chuckled, "No, this just reminds me of a life I once lived before being who I am," The old farmer spoke with memories flashing in his eyes.

"Oh," The expression of the blue-eyed man eased. "Were you also reincarnated?" He asked.

The question was rather stunning and unexpected. The old farmer who was Kael turned with furrowed brows.

"..." He did not say anything; he waited for the latter to clarify.

The blue-eyed man did not flinch at that oppressive stare. "You're not the first to be reincarnated.

I was not reincarnated, but a few other House Masters have been, and it's not a secret.

It might have been worth keeping a secret when you were amongst the ignorant mortals, but right now, no one really cares."

The old man did not say anything, though, because he knew the latter was wrong. Those House Masters were reincarnated as ordinary creatures; Kael was reincarnated as a Primordial. There was a massive difference.

But that was besides the point.

"It's nice to remember what it was like when I was ignorant. In my past life, there was no magic, no arkships, no immortals.

Just humans and their inconsiderate ideologies."

The blue-eyed man nodded. "Such is life," He said with a stern expression.

"Come, Luthor Patriarch, sit with me," the old farmer beat the seat of green grass next to him.

The blue-eyed man who was obviously the Luthor Patriarch shook his head, "No, I'd rather stand.

Why have you been calling me?"

The old farmer did not stop beating the bush, "I wanted to give you the same thing your son had. I didn't know you were in such a haste."

He continued beating the grass next to him, signalling for the other to sit.

After five seconds of intensely staring at each other, the blue-eyed man made a compromise.

He decided to sit on the grass, but not beside the old farmer. He sat by the side, at a ninety-degree angle.

He was letting the old man know that he was not a subject to be commanded.

"Fair enough," the old man said, then his eyes grew calmer. "Do you know how Seth was able to create that Alphaverse of his?"

The Luthor Patriarch, now paying attention to what the old farmer had to say, shook his head, "No. Do you?"

The old farmer nodded with a kind smile, "Yes, I do, and understanding it will let you see how possible it is to take away all that Seth has…"
