Chapter 1172: Ch 1172: Rah Vs Selene (1)

Rah was observing what was happening and after seeing how the gods he had sent were killed, he found himself to be in a very bad mood. But still, in a part of his heart, he was also feeling quite happy and satisfied.

The reason for his happiness was because before their deaths, his subordinates had managed to accomplish what he had wanted from them.

The death of so many regular people was a big deal. So this would definitely trouble that newly ascended goddess. This incident might even cause a fracture in the relationship between this new Supreme God and the subordinate gods that she had taken in.

And in this operation, the only significant loss that Rah had suffered was the waste of so many of his items. Even the only rank 10 god who was killed had revived successfully as Rah himself had prepared a method of resurrection for him.

As for the deaths of so many rank 8 and rank 9 gods, Rah did not care even a little bit. He did not care about anyone who was below the rank of 10.

So overall, even though his side had lost the battle, in his mind, Rah considered this event to be a massive win. After thinking this way, he managed to improve his mood and decided to celebrate a little by using some of the special ingredients that he had been saving for a day like this.

But just as Rah was about to enter his secret chamber where he kept his special collection, suddenly he felt an immense amount of danger.

This was something that Rah had only felt previously when he was an extremely weak sun god. But after reaching the realm of a supreme, he had never felt this way ever again. There was just no one in this world who was capable of making a supreme like him to feel this high level of danger.

Or so Rah had thought. But it turned out that there were still people left in their world who were capable of killing him.

And as Rah thought about this matter, the only person that came to his mind was the ruler of the dreams. But Rah knew that the chance of him making a move was astonishingly low.

Rah did not need to wait for too long for the answer. Soon Selene appeared before him in her combined form. Even though revealing her white and black forms was not a big deal but still as this was something personal for Selene, she was still planning to hide it from this fool and most of the other gods.

Before Rah could understand what was happening, Selene tried to use a move to capture him in one shot. The palm of her hands started to shine in a bright light of the moon and as soon as that this light reached Rah, it started to spread throughout his body and made him to freeze.

But as soon as that started to happen, a flame flared up on his body. This flame was powerful enough to face off against the white light and slowly started to push it back.

Even though Rah was weaker than Selene, he was still a rank 11 powerhouse. So capturing him was definitely not an easy thing to do.

So while still maintaining the white light, Selene snapped her fingers and as soon as she did so, pitch black chained appeared out of nowhere and tried to wrap around Rah.

While his flames were busy taking care of the encroaching white light, these powerful chains would face much less resistance while targetting Rah. And this was something that the great Sun God also realised very quickly.

So next, he immediately made a move to get out of this situation. And his method was teleportation. Even though Selene was locking down the space of this whole area, the special spatial method that Rah had was capable of bypassing the Spatial lock.

So after turning into fire, Rah disappeared. And at the same time, Selene also teleported away. There was no sign that Selene was surprised by what Rah had done, so there was a good possibility that Selene was already aware of this hidden life saving move of his.

After teleporting away, Rah appeared in a temple floating in the sky. This was a special place that he had created in secret. This place was something akin to being his domain and he was capable of manipulating anything and everything here as he wished.

This was also one of only two locations where Rah could manifest his full power. The other location was his divine Kingdom but obviously he was not going to take the risk of taking that out.

So without wasting any time, Rah immediately started to prepare. He had no idea why Selene was attacking him but he had no time in his hand to question her.

Rah had never fought with Selene and so he had no idea that she was this powerful.

Currently, the only reason why Rah could even hope of winning was because of this special domain of his. In this place, his powers would be at the very peak while on the other hand, Selene’s should be at the rock bottom. He also had some specially powerful killing moves prepared here and Rah was very trusting of those means.

So as he got prepared for a fight, Selene appeared. Rah had hoped that Selene would do so and would not run away after understanding the nature of this temple. So he was very happy with this outcome.

As for Selene, she had obviously noticed that kind of place this temple was and she was confident in her strength. She was sure that she would be able to defeat him even inside this domain of his.

And as soon as the two ancient supreme gods faced off against one another, both of them decided to open the battle here with some of their most destructive moves.

" Abyssal Rupture "

" All Burning True Sun "

Abyssal Rupture was not a move from the system of the gods and instead it was from her negative system. And All Burning True Sun was something like a signature move for Rah and it actually was quite powerful.

In the clash, it looked like the Sun managed to devour the abyss rapture completely but that was not the case. The rapture managed to pierce the sun in a small point and reached Rah. At the same time, as this move had only destroyed a very small part of the sun, the All Burning True Sun also reached Serene with almost all its powers intact.

So would both of these gods be able to defend against each other’s moves ?
