Chapter 1228: Ch 1228: Fates At Work!

While the whole world of Sora was getting very active regarding the sudden appearance of a mad rank 10 powerhouse, Elena was resting on a sofa while closing her eyes and was checking the fate of this world.

Shin’s fate had worked very steadily and had brought many dangers to him. And by overcoming those dangers, he was grown stronger and stronger at a very good pace.

But for the last few days, his fate had became unusually active. There could only be one reason behind this incident. A large life changing event was going to happen soon.

Him meeting Elena was one such event and his long stay with Tatsumi was also a similar but minor event.

So meeting Elena was the prologue of his story and the love confession to Tatsumi was the interlude. Then, according to the current movement of the fate, he was soon going to enter the end game and the epilogue.

And from all the signs that Elena could see, it looked like this new rank 10 villain was going to be the final boss of his saga. Which was actually a bit lame.

So Elena guessed that this villain most probably was at the peak of rank 10 and was very close to reaching the rank of 11. Only then he would be able to become a suitable opponent for the hero of this world.

That was why Elena was being super careful. She did not even go to investigate the enemies and allowed the fate the take the stage.

There was only one duty that Elena wanted to do. That was make sure no tragedy was going to happen. But for the time being, both sides were not going to come in contact, so there was some time for both of them to prepare.

Elena had decided not to provide any more strengthening for Shin and his friends. She had already provided them with an absurd level of help, so anymore help was genuinely not needed for the time being and everyone needed to get used to their current powers first.

So Elena just kept an eye on the situation without getting too involved with it for the time being.

In the depths of the ocean, the meeting was soon over and the final result was very simple and straightforward.

Everyone came to the decision that Jaun needed to reach the absolute limit of rank 10 first before doing anything. So he started making preparations for just that.

In the meantime, both of the ladies also decided to train and get as strong as they could. Unlike Jaun, they were still extremely far away from the realm of a rank 11, so their goal was going to be just becoming stronger than their current self.

Shin was extremely versatile and Shuzu’s intuition was truly amazing. Tatsumi was also capable of using various spells and Raphaela’s new life fundamental source was extremely useful. That was why they were able to do so well.

So far most people were guessing that there was only one person responsible for all this. But Shin and his friends had managed to discover the presence of at least two different powerhouses.

This discovery immediately changed the importance of this matter. Having just one rank 10 powerhouse killing people was a big trouble. But if there were several of them, then that was just pure nightmare.

So even the supreme magus was alarmed by this. So he decided that he was going to use some specialised magic to find out who were the person responsible for this and their current location.

This magic was something that he alone could not use. Supreme Magus’s own spells were mostly combat oriented or only suitable for special situations most of the time. That was why, he was going to use an powerful item to help him out in this matter.

This item was called the "Scroll of Recording". It worked with the fate of the world of Sora and had the ability to record of almost everything happening here.

So even though fate was not the strongest aspect of the Supreme Magus, he was still capable of learning a lot of information by utilising this item.

But unfortunately for him, this was not a good time. Even this Supreme grade artifact failed to find where the culprits were. And even though Jaun had bragged about his powerful item capable of isolating their presence, the main aspect responsible for this was was without a doubt the fate of the hero.

The current timing was not right for the main villain to be found. If that happened, then the Supreme Magus would make a move and would end up simply killing the ancient villains.

But the world could not allow that to happen. If that happens, then who was going to challenge the hero and push him for his growth. This whole incident was a training for the hero, so the world did not want a wild card like the Supreme Magus to make a move and ruin everything.

That was the reason why the powerful item failed of activate. Even if Jaun did not have the special item, then the world would have found some way to make sure that he was going to stay hidden.

Maybe the fate of the world even could have gifted him the item, giving the villain the treatment of a hero. That was definitely a possibility in this case.

So, the final outcome was a little disappointing but there was one very important thing that the Supreme Magus had managed to find out. And that information was the number of total enemies.

So far, two was just the minimum speculation. There was a high possibility that there were more. And that assumption turned out to be the truth. And the total number was three.

This result was actually received very positively by Shin and his party. After finding a second culprit, he had immediately feared that there could be 5 or even 10 such powerhouses working together. So the super low number of 3 definitely comforting for them.

So that was how Shin and team came to know the number of rank 10 enemies they would need to fight and they hardened their determination to do exactly that.
