Chapter 428: Female Driver

Qiangwei asked curiously,

"Celestial King, when will you be coming to the Provincial City?"

However, Qin Tuo just shook his head and said,

"Qiangwei, tell them to come find me directly in Ming City!"

Qiangwei nodded. Not daring to delay, she immediately hung up the phone.

Zhu Zifeng walked over from nearby and couldn't help but ask curiously,

"Mr. Qin, what happened?"

Qin Tuo said with a smile,

"It's nothing. The General Security Pavilion is preparing to send people over to help me eradicate the Blood Moon Pavilion."

Zhu Zifeng nodded; he already knew about this.

Soon, several members of the General Security Pavilion from the Capital City arrived in Ming City.

The small team came to the villa in person to meet Qin Tuo.

After introductions were made, Qin Tuo learned that the leader of the group, their captain, was a man named Sun Haicheng.

"You're Qin Tuo?"

The moment he saw Qin Tuo, Sun Haicheng's gaze turned incredibly arrogant, his expression full of disdain.

Qin Tuo nodded, paying him no mind, and simply invited the men to have a seat in the villa.

Just then, Zhu Zifeng also walked out.

The moment they saw Zhu Zifeng, Sun Haicheng and his men looked astonished!

They were all from the Capital City, so of course they recognized the young master of the Zhu Family.

"Oh, Young Master Zhu, what are you doing here?"

Sun Haicheng asked with a frown.

Zhu Zifeng replied casually,

"It's nothing. I'm working for Mr. Qin now."

"What? How is that possible!"

Sun Haicheng and his group exchanged glances, each seeing the same look of utter disbelief in the others' eyes.

Zhu Zifeng was the esteemed young master of the Zhu Family. How could he be waiting on this Qin Tuo hand and foot?

Furthermore, it seemed Zhu Zifeng was doing so willingly, not under duress, which made the situation even more baffling to them.

But even this didn't stop Sun Haicheng and his men from looking down on Qin Tuo.

They simply couldn't understand why their superiors had sent them to assist Qin Tuo in eradicating the Blood Moon Pavilion.

With their strength, they didn't need Qin Tuo's help to get the job done!

At least, that's what Sun Haicheng believed.

Seeing that Qin Tuo showed no signs of making a move, Sun Haicheng couldn't help but say coldly,

"Qin Tuo, when do you plan to head to the Blood Moon Pavilion?"

But Qin Tuo just shook his head and said with a smile,

"It's fine. There's no rush!"

'The Blood Moon Pavilion isn't going anywhere,' Qin Tuo thought.

'Whether we go a little earlier or a little later makes no difference, as long as we wipe them out in the end.'

However, Sun Haicheng huffed loudly.

"Qin Tuo, let me be clear with you, kid. It makes no real difference whether you're here or not. So, you'd better know your place and follow our orders. Got it?"

The General Security Pavilion's order was for him to assist Qin Tuo, but Sun Haicheng clearly thought it should be the other way around—that Qin Tuo should be obeying their commands.

Qin Tuo had long since noticed their insubordination, but he wasn't bothered and said nothing more.

Beside him, however, Zhu Zifeng frowned, wanting to say something in Qin Tuo's defense.

But when he saw that Qin Tuo himself, the target of their disrespect, had no reaction, Zhu Zifeng forcibly swallowed his anger and held his tongue.

After sitting for a while longer, Sun Haicheng and his men grew impatient. They stood up one by one to ask Qin Tuo when they were leaving.

But Qin Tuo replied in a leisurely manner,

"Gentlemen, why don't you have dinner here, rest for the night, and we'll head over then?"

Hearing this, Sun Haicheng's face instantly flushed with anger.

'Qin Tuo clearly has no respect for the General Security Pavilion's mission! How can he be thinking about eating and sleeping at a time like this?'

And so, Sun Haicheng shook his head and stated firmly,

"No. You can go to sleep by yourself. We're leaving now!"

Feeling a bit helpless, Qin Tuo could only nod in agreement.

"Alright then. In that case, I'll go with you to the Blood Moon Pavilion now."

With that, the group immediately walked out of the villa, ready to get in their car and set off.

However, after Sun Haicheng and his men got into the car, they immediately slammed the doors shut.

Qin Tuo was left standing dumbfounded by the car, completely bewildered.

Sun Haicheng rolled down the window and said with a sneer,

"Qin Tuo, the car's full. You'll have to find your own way there!"

Then, with a dismissive wave of his hand, he had the driver start the car, and they sped off.

Qin Tuo could clearly see there were still empty seats in the car; Sun Haicheng was obviously trying to embarrass him on purpose.

Zhu Zifeng, standing beside him, couldn't take it anymore. He fumed,

"Mr. Qin, these guys are out of line! Why are you putting up with them?"

In Zhu Zifeng's eyes, if Qin Tuo were to teach these guys a lesson, they wouldn't dare make a peep.

However, Qin Tuo just shook his head and chuckled.

"It's fine. Why bother squabbling with such nobodies?"

Seeing Qin Tuo's unconcerned attitude, Zhu Zifeng was taken aback and fell silent.

And so, Qin Tuo had Zhu Zifeng act as the driver, and the two of them set off in their own car toward their destination: Southwest Kunfeng City.

As the car sped down the highway, Qin Tuo slowly closed his eyes to rest.

Suddenly, Qin Tuo's instincts screamed that something was wrong, an inexplicable sense of alarm rising in his heart!

He snapped his eyes open and glanced at the rearview mirror. Sure enough, a small red car was accelerating, aiming to ram right into them.

"Watch out!"

Qin Tuo yelled instantly.

Zhu Zifeng jumped in fright and quickly yanked the steering wheel, swerving to the side.

Even so, the red car still slammed violently into them!

CRUNCH...

The two cars were instantly wedged together, unable to move.

Qin Tuo and Zhu Zifeng got out to inspect the damage and didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Mr. Qin, it's a good thing you warned me, or our car would have been totaled!"

Zhu Zifeng said with a sigh.

Qin Tuo walked over to the red car and saw a girl in the driver's seat; she had already passed out.

After a moment's thought, Qin Tuo opened her car door to check on her.

The girl wasn't seriously injured, merely unconscious.

Qin Tuo channeled a bit of Spiritual Qi and slowly brought her back to consciousness.

The moment the girl woke up and saw the scene before her, she instantly realized she had been in a car accident.

Zhu Zifeng scolded her coldly,

"Young lady, what kind of driving was that?"

The girl, knowing she was at fault, said with a guilty look,

"I'm so sorry! I was just so tired... I almost fell asleep!"

Both Qin Tuo and Zhu Zifeng were left completely speechless.

Qin Tuo couldn't help but sigh.

"They say female drivers are a menace. Now I see it's really true!"
