Chapter 438: Removing the Gu Insect

After Qin Tuo effortlessly took down a group from the Blood Moon Pavilion, the members of the Security Pavilion were all left speechless with astonishment.

Sun Haicheng, despite his injuries, stared with wide eyes before bursting into a fit of violent coughing.

To steel his nerves, he let out a furious roar and lunged at Qin Tuo!

A few wisps of eerie green ghost fire shot out from the Third Elder’s palm, tearing through the air at a speed that left no time to react.

Upon seeing that terrifying ghost fire again, Sun Haicheng, in the distance, felt his skin crawl with fear.

He had just been struck by that very same fire and knew all too well how wicked and horrifying the technique was.

A cruel smile spread across the Third Elder’s face as he eagerly anticipated the sight of Qin Tuo falling to the ghost fire.

But to his surprise, Qin Tuo simply made a light gesture with his hands. A powerful suction force instantly neutralized the ghost fire, which was then absorbed into his own body.

Seeing Qin Tuo’s relaxed expression, the Third Elder was so shocked his jaw nearly hit the floor.

He gritted his teeth and waved his hands again and again, sending streaks of green light flying through the air like sharp swords.

This was his most powerful technique, one that few opponents could withstand.

Yet, Qin Tuo simply walked forward without breaking his stride.

When the eerie green swords came within three feet of him, they were automatically absorbed, dissolving into formless Spiritual Qi and stored within the Celestial King Order.

Qin Tuo now seemed like a demon, making the Third Elder’s scalp tingle as he backed away in terror.

"Damn you, kid! What’s happening? Are you using some kind of black magic?"

The Third Elder’s voice was filled with panic, his eyes wide with disbelief.

But Qin Tuo wasted no more words on him. He charged forward, his hand shooting out to grab the Third Elder’s shoulder.

The Third Elder cried out, preparing to dodge.

However, the terrifying aura emanating from Qin Tuo was like a mountain, pinning him to the spot and rendering him unable to resist.

With a single, light grab, Qin Tuo forced the Third Elder to his knees, where he began vomiting blood uncontrollably.

Qin Tuo then said coldly,

"I came today to eradicate your Blood Moon Pavilion. First, I’ll kill you. Then, it’s your Pavilion Master’s turn!"

With that, Qin Tuo prepared to deliver the killing blow and send the Third Elder to his grave.

The Third Elder, terrified, immediately began to beg for mercy, struggling to speak.

"Your Excellency, spare me! The truth is, I never wanted to do these evil things. I had no choice!"

Qin Tuo’s hand paused just above the crown of his head. He frowned at the man’s words and asked,

"Oh? Tell me, then. How exactly did you have no choice?"

The Third Elder explained through his tears,

"For years, we’ve been controlled by Yan Hongliang’s Gu Insects! That’s why we’ve done so many wicked things. If we don’t obey him, the Gu Insects inside us activate, and we die a horrible death!"

As he spoke, he repeatedly kowtowed to Qin Tuo, hoping to earn his forgiveness.

Hearing this, Qin Tuo felt a flicker of doubt.

Seeing the look on Qin Tuo’s face, the Third Elder knew he had a chance and quickly added,

With that, he pressed his forehead deeply to the ground and did not lift it again.

The Third Elder seemed utterly sincere. To Qin Tuo, it didn’t look like he was lying.

He did this to verify whether the Third Elder was telling the truth.

The Third Elder, however, let out a terrified scream, thinking Qin Tuo was about to execute him.

And so, he could only shut his eyes in despair, a bleak, cold smile forming on his lips.

But Qin Tuo didn’t kill him. Instead, he channeled a strand of Spiritual Power into the Elder’s body.

"Hm? This is..."

The Third Elder realized what was happening, his face a picture of astonishment.

But seeing Qin Tuo’s solemn expression, he dared not move a muscle.

After injecting the Spiritual Power, Qin Tuo precisely manipulated it, locking onto the location of the Gu Insect within the Third Elder’s body.

’So it’s this little bastard that’s been causing all the trouble!’

Qin Tuo snorted.

Then, with a slight exertion of force, he expelled the Gu Insect from the Elder’s body.

The moment the Gu Insect was out, it tried to flee, but Qin Tuo was faster. With a slight jolt of power, he killed it instantly.

"You can get up now."

The Third Elder, a look of pure astonishment on his face, patted himself all over his body and said in delighted surprise,

Qin Tuo replied casually,

"Not only are you alive, but I also removed the Gu Insect for you. From now on, you no longer have to be controlled by anyone."
