Reverend Insanity: Dream Gu

Chapter 154: Blessed Land Foundation

Chapter 154: Blessed Land Foundation

Lin Yan temporarily put aside his thoughts regarding Dream Derivation Gu and turned his attention to the blessed land.

Since completing his Immortal Ascension, he had finally found the opportunity to properly inspect the newly born Flame Sovereign Blessed Land.

His thoughts swept across the entire blessed land. After a careful inspection, he discovered that according to its terrain and environment, the Flame Sovereign Blessed Land could roughly be divided into four major regions: north, south, east, and west, with the central crimson abyss serving as the dividing point.

To the north stretched a vast crimson desert covering nearly 3,300 square kilometers.

The sunlight there was exceptionally intense, pouring down from the sky like a waterfall of flames. The scorching heat distorted the air, while wisps of fire continuously rose from the burning sands. Endless dunes rolled toward the horizon beneath a sky filled with blazing light.

Seeing this, Lin Yan named this region the Flame Desert. It was a land rich in Otherworldly Flame resources, with abundant Light Path and fire oil resources as well.

For example, much of the Flame Desert was covered in hot sand, a commonly used Rank 1 Flame Path Gu material. Countless red grains stretched across the landscape, painting the entire region crimson. The sheer quantity was astonishing and among them were also higher-rank materials such as Red Flame Sand and Profound Sun Spirit Sand.

What truly caught Lin Yan’s attention, however, were the immortal materials.

After a brief inspection, he discovered several tons of Six Yang Divine Sand scattered throughout the desert. This was a genuine Rank 6 immortal material and one of the most valuable resources within the Flame Desert. If sold in Treasure Yellow Heaven, it would easily be worth around one hundred immortal essence stones.

Thinking of this, Lin Yan’s mood immediately improved.

The debt of eight hundred immortal essence stones owed to Sun Cu had originally seemed like a considerable burden. Now, however, it no longer appeared so daunting.

As expected of a blessed land formed from a Ten Extreme Physique. From the moment it was created, it already contained Rank 6 immortal materials.

By comparison, most of the resources within Sun Cu’s Stoneheart Blessed Land were limited to Rank 5. Immortal materials were scarce and often required years of accumulation before they could form.

Yet in Lin Yan’s eyes, the value of the Six Yang Divine Sand was not measured in immortal essence stones. Selling it would be far too short-sighted.

The true value of Six Yang Divine Sand was not its selling price, but the environment it created. The endless heat released by these Flame Path immortal materials formed an extremely high-temperature region throughout the Flame Desert, continuously nurturing all kinds of Flame Path resources.

With such a natural environment, the Flame Desert was perfectly suited for developing Flame Path resource points. Given enough time, the value it could generate would far exceed the worth of the Six Yang Divine Sand itself.

Above the Flame Desert, blazing white flames densely covered the sky like drifting clouds. These were special Light Path and Flame Path Gu materials. The closer one moved toward the center of the desert, the more abundant and diverse the Otherworldly Flames became. Clusters of colorful flames floated everywhere, creating a magnificent sight. Among them were even several Rank 6 immortal flame materials, the most valuable being Purifying World Heavenly Fire. Even Lin Yan was slightly surprised when he discovered it.

As for fire oil, there was even less need to mention it. His thoughts penetrated deep beneath the desert, where vast reserves lay hidden underground. The dark outlines stretched across nearly half of the entire Flame Desert, indicating an astonishing quantity.

To the west of the blessed land lay the Molten Flame Mountains. More than a hundred thousand volcanoes stood clustered together, rising high above the surrounding land. Flames erupted constantly from their peaks, while brilliant dark-red lava flowed down their slopes. The temperature in some regions reached several hundred degrees, creating a scene of endless heat and destruction.

Viewed from high above, the mountain range stretched endlessly across the horizon. Countless streams of lava connected the volcanoes together, forming a vast network that resembled either a giant spiderweb or the blood vessels of a colossal lava plateau.

As Lin Yan surveyed the region, he quickly discovered many valuable places to form resource points. Large quantities of Fire Ember Stone had accumulated within the volcanic craters. Above the mountains, thick black clouds formed by volcanic eruptions covered the sky. Within those clouds drifted Fire Smoke Mist, a special Gu material that occasionally flashed with sparks of firelight.

The ground itself was a treasure trove. After being tempered by lava, it continuously produced Flame Path materials such as Fire Rock, Infernal Demon Sulfur, and Accumulated Ash. The quantity was astonishing, and the production rate was equally impressive.

Most importantly, Lin Yan discovered a promising source of Fire Plasma Flow.

Deep within the mountain range, massive amounts of lava had gathered and settled, naturally forming streams of Fire Plasma Flow. As a Rank 6 immortal material, it possessed considerable value in Gu refinement, Gu nourishment, and Flame Path cultivation.

However, what Lin Yan valued most was not the existing Fire Plasma Flow, but the environment that produced it. With such favorable conditions already in place, this area had the potential to develop into a stable Fire Plasma Flow resource point in the future.

Next was the southern region of the blessed land. After leaving the volcanoes and deserts behind, Lin Yan finally saw an endless stretch of flat land. The soil here was reddish-brown and astonishingly fertile. It was so rich that it seemed capable of oozing oil when squeezed. Although the temperature remained high, the region was not lacking in moisture. Warm air drifted across the plains, creating an environment especially suitable for the growth of Flame Path plants.

Lin Yan named this region the Li Fire Plains.

The plains possessed their own unique advantages. Vast areas were covered with Red Earth, a special Flame Path Gu material ideally suited for cultivating Flame Path vegetation. In addition, traces of Fire Spirit Earth and even Red Emperor Earth could be found throughout the plains. Together, they formed an exceptionally fertile environment and provided an excellent foundation for developing Flame Path resource points in the future.

At the center of the Li Fire Plains lay three enormous Fire Ember Lakes. The lakebeds were covered with countless glowing fire embers, while the water surface was shrouded in a layer of floating illusory flames. The flames danced gently across the lakes, reflecting crimson light in every direction and creating a scene both beautiful and mysterious.

With the Fire Ember Lakes at their center, the surrounding area possessed tremendous development potential. Whether used to nurture Flame Path Gu worms, cultivate special plants, or produce related Gu materials, it could easily become one of the most important resource regions within the blessed land.

Finally, in the eastern region of the blessed land, the terrain changed once again. Endless hills stretched across the land, while towering cliffs rose among them and disappeared into the dark clouds above. Lightning flashed continuously across the sky, and thunder rumbled without end. Dense bolts of lightning struck the earth every moment, filling the entire region with a violent and destructive aura.

Lin Yan named this region the Thunderous Hills.

The rocks here were black with faint crimson streaks running through them, their surfaces gleaming with a metallic luster. Under the constant tempering of lightning and flame, the entire region carried a cold and imposing atmosphere.

More importantly, the environment itself possessed tremendous potential. Dense Lightning Path dao marks permeated the land, while lightning struck throughout the year without interruption. Such conditions were naturally suited for nurturing high-grade Lightning Path resources and developing Lightning Path resource points in the future.

After completing his survey of the eastern region, Lin Yan nodded in satisfaction. Although Flame Sovereign Blessed Land was primarily a Flame Path blessed land, the Thunderous Hills ensured that the Lightning Path aspect of his cultivation would not be neglected in the future
