Chapter 284: Blessed land Development

After advancing to Rank Seven, Lin Yan decided to remain in seclusion for some time. He brought Shan Shayuan and the others back into Flame Sovereign Blessed Land before beginning another large-scale of his immortal aperture.

At the northern end of the vast Flame Desert, the enormous and colorful Endless Fire Domain rumbled continuously. Terrifying heat distorted the air above it, while countless Flame Path Gu lived among its seven layers. The seven-layered Fire Domain had already developed into a unique environment largely separated from the outside world.

Lin Yan began pouring the Flame Path immortal materials obtained from Fire Thunder Divine Lord’s true inheritance into the Endless Fire Domain. As enormous quantities of immortal materials entered, the seven existing layers began changing rapidly, and two new layers began taking shape.

The Fire Domain expanded to several times its original size. With all nine layers established, the concentration of Flame Path dao marks within Endless Fire Domain reached an astonishing concentration. The different layers supported one another and formed their own circulation, causing a faint but profound aura to emerge from the endless flames. Endless Fire Domain had finally begun to display some of the grandeur of a secluded domain of heaven and earth.

At the deepest core of the nine-layered sea of fire, three tiny flames flickered. One was deep cyan, another surged with orange-yellow radiance, while the last shone with brilliant pure-white light. Despite their tiny size, the surrounding flames seemed to revolve around them.

They were the three Rank Nine immortal materials collectively known as the Three flames of Heaven, Earth, and Human: Radiant Sunwheel, Azure Divine Furnace, and Raging Dragonheart.

Different phenomena appeared around the three flames. The Earth flame took the shape of an enormous stone furnace, the Human flame transformed into a miniature flying dragon, while the Heaven flame condensed into magnificent rings of brilliant light.

With their Rank Nine dao marks suppressing and influencing the surrounding flames, the Three Fires naturally became the core of Endless Fire Domain.

More than a dozen types of Rank Eight Otherworldly Flames occupied the eighth layer. Each possessed completely different characteristics and required its own environment, yet the circulation formed by the nine layers allowed all of them to coexist, completing Flame Sovereign Blessed Land’s first super resource point.

Lin Yan next turned his attention toward Sunflame Valley and Divine Firmament Thunder Pool. Large quantities of Flame Path and Thunder Path immortal materials from his accumulated reserves were invested into both resource points, strengthening their foundations until they became capable of nurturing Rank Eight immortal materials such as miniature suns and Creation Thunder Liquid.

As Sunflame Valley and Thunder Pool developed further, the Immortal Gu formations constructed around them improved as well. Sunflame Valley Formation and Divine Firmament Thunder Pool Formation both advanced from Rank Six to Rank Seven. The three-legged Golden Crows nurtured within Sunflame Valley formation and the humanoid lightning figures born within Divine Firmament Thunder Pool could now slowly grow to the level of Ancient Desolate Beasts.

Lin Yan then used the Rank Seven immortal materials produced during his Heavenly Tribulation to establish new giant resource points. Thunder Marsh Lake, Phoenix Nest, Thunder Valley, and Flame Thunder Mountain were constructed one after another.

These resource points occupied some of the vast empty areas created by the immortal aperture’s expansion. Two months passed in the Eastern Sea, while nearly six years went by within Flame Sovereign Blessed Land.

During this period, Lin Yan established three super resource points, increased the number of Rank Seven Immortal Gu formations to four, and brought the number of giant resource points to more than ten.

The cost of such rapid development was naturally enormous. Lin Yan invested one million immortal essence stones’ worth of immortal materials, with more than five hundred thousand immortal essence stones’ worth being directly consumed during the construction, adjustment, and development of the various resource points.

Once the new resource points matured and their production stabilized, the annual income of Flame Sovereign Blessed Land rose from forty thousand immortal essence stones to approximately two hundred thousand immortal essence stones.

Its annual production of red date immortal essence also increased to roughly two hundred beads.

These numbers were astonishing for a Rank Seven immortal aperture, but they were not unreasonable when compared with Rank Eight grotto-heaven.

This growth also strengthened Lin Yan in battle. He now possessed four Rank Seven Immortal Gu formations, and the combination of Desolations Flame Thunder Immortal Formation, Sunflame Valley, and Divine Firmament Thunder Pool could unleash offensive battle strength of Rank Eight gu immortal.

Lin Yan’s situation was somewhat similar to Fang Yuan shortly after creating the Reverse Flow Killer Move. His cultivation remained at Rank Seven, but he already possessed methods capable of displaying Rank Eight battle strength. Against an ordinary Rank Eight Gu Immortal, he could contend with them for some time, although the difference in cultivation foundation would become increasingly apparent if the battle continued.
