Chapter 303: Chapter 302: The Reward This Time Isn’t Shares?

After rolling her eyes helplessly, Fang Jinjin’s expression suddenly turned serious. She stared into Fang Chenyi’s eyes and asked:

"Bro, where did you get those test papers?"

Fang Chenyi was confused. "Test papers?" he asked, not quite following. "What test papers?"

Seeing her brother’s completely clueless look, Fang Jinjin made a face in exasperation.

"The stack of test papers you had Menghan give me! The questions on them were the exact same as the ones on our exam! Bro, be honest with me, did you arrange for some kind of cheating?!"

’The test papers I got as a reward for scavenging were the same as this exam? That’s insane!’

Fang Chenyi didn’t doubt Fang Jinjin’s words for a second. After all, the test papers were a reward from the System, so any kind of coincidence was plausible.

But of course, he couldn’t explain that to Fang Jinjin, so he just shook his head and said:

"I’m not sure about that either. I just bought those papers randomly. Who knew they’d actually match the exam? Anyway, since you already did them ahead of time, you must have this exam in the bag, right?"

Although he said that, Fang Jinjin clearly didn’t believe him. She looked at Fang Chenyi with a determined gaze and said:

"Bro, you’re underestimating your little sister’s abilities. I already did all those test papers you gave me, and my total score was 596. That’s only four points shy of a perfect score! I’m telling you, even if you hadn’t given me those papers, I still would have gotten a good grade!"

Just as Fang Jinjin said, after Bai Menghan had given her the test papers, she had gone through them diligently.

Not only that, but while she was working on them, she even felt the papers were a bit too easy. Except for losing four points on the chemistry section, she got a perfect score on everything else. The essay was an exception, of course, since she couldn’t grade that herself, but Fang Jinjin was confident there were no issues with what she wrote. Even if it wasn’t a perfect score, it wouldn’t be far off.

But when the exam papers were handed out today, Fang Jinjin was stunned. They were the exact same papers she had done yesterday.

This allowed her to breeze through the questions. Thanks to her strong memory, she could recall the entire question just by glancing at the beginning and give the answer directly without even needing to look at the options.

Even though she was still answering based on her own abilities, Fang Jinjin couldn’t shake the feeling that she was cheating, and it left her feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Seeing his sister’s expression, Fang Chenyi naturally understood what she was thinking. But he really hadn’t known that those papers were the actual exam questions.

’If I had known, would I have given them to her? I’d definitely have to think about that.’

But regardless, the papers were already in his sister’s hands. He thought for a moment before saying:

"Sis, would you believe me if I said I had no idea those were the real exam questions beforehand? Heh, besides, what does it matter if you knew the content or not? Either way, you answered them all yourself, right?"

What Fang Chenyi said was true, but Fang Jinjin still felt a bit uneasy. However, when she considered that she hadn’t just memorized the correct answers after seeing the test, she began to feel a little better about it.

The lunch break was long, with the afternoon exam not starting until two o’clock. So, the group went straight back to the family villa for lunch. With another exam in the afternoon, it wouldn’t do to get an upset stomach from eating at a restaurant.

After lunch, Fang Chenyi was hit by a wave of drowsiness. His nap in the car that morning hadn’t refreshed him at all; in fact, it had made him feel even more sluggish. So, he went back to the bedroom to catch a few winks. When it was almost time to go, Bai Menghan reached out and nudged the still-sleeping Fang Chenyi.

Deep in sleep, Fang Chenyi just rolled over and mumbled:

"There’s nothing for us to do anyway. Let’s just skip going this afternoon. We can have Liu Yishou drive Xiaojin."

Hearing this, Bai Menghan smacked his arm in annoyance.

"What kind of nonsense is that? How is it none of our business? Come on, stop sleeping. If you sleep any longer, we’ll be late."

Left with no choice, Fang Chenyi was finally roused by Bai Menghan’s pulling and tugging.

He gave his face a quick wash before reluctantly heading downstairs.

Instead of having Liu Yishou drive, Fang Chenyi took the wheel himself.

Watching Fang Jinjin walk through the gates of the exam center, Fang Chenyi glanced around and noticed many parents were outside chatting or waiting in their cars.

He shook his head helplessly and looked over at Bai Menghan, who was in the middle of a yawn. "Menghan, are you tired? If you are, you can take a nap in the car."

She’d been kept up half the night, and her mouth was still a little sore. Besides, there was the old saying about spring sleepiness and autumn fatigue; it was the perfect time for a nap.

She nodded and got into the car.

Seeing this, Fang Chenyi quickly followed her in, adjusted the car’s air conditioning to 26 degrees Celsius, and reached back to pull out a small complimentary blanket, which he handed to Bai Menghan.

He had originally thought about taking a nap with Bai Menghan, but after lying down, Fang Chenyi found he wasn’t the least bit sleepy anymore.

Tossing and turning, he couldn’t fall asleep, and he was afraid of waking Bai Menghan. Helpless, he finally cracked a window for ventilation, got out, locked the car, and walked over to a large tree to cool off in its shade.

But just as he reached the tree, he spotted a trash can not far away. More importantly, there were lots of water bottles next to it, obviously thrown there by the waiting parents.

At this sight, Fang Chenyi felt an itch in his heart, and his hand subconsciously patted the leather satchel tucked under his arm.

His gaze kept darting toward the trash can. Not only that, but Fang Chenyi even discovered that there were a dozen or so trash cans set up at the school gate, likely placed there specifically for the parents attending the exam.

Even so, due to the hot weather, the areas around these trash cans were already piled high with all sorts of bottles.

After a moment of hesitation, Fang Chenyi scanned the area again. Seeing no one he knew, he gritted his teeth and pulled a woven bag out of his satchel.

With a light shake, he took a deep breath and walked toward the nearest trash can.
