Chapter 212: Chapter 0212: It’s Complicated, Jaxx

Elena’s Point Of View

"Dance, Bambina."

His voice was a dark command, his eyes burning into mine like embers. I stared at him like he’d grown horns, my mind still spinning from the kiss, from the way his hands had gripped my ass, from the way his mouth had consumed me. My lips were still swollen, my body still humming with the ghost of his touch, my breath coming in sharp, uneven gasps.

Somewhere beneath the haze of want, a small, furious part of me was still keeping score... three weeks of silence, three weeks of nothing, and now this.

"Dance?" I repeated, my voice cracking. "You drag me up here, you kiss me like that, you threaten a man downstairs - and now you want a dance? Have you lost your mind?"

"You ask that a lot," Jaxx said, calm as still water, reaching for a panel on the side table. "And yet you keep coming back."

And then... music.

Low, sultry, the beat pulsing through the room like a heartbeat. I didn’t move. I couldn’t. My legs were still unsteady, my mind still reeling, my body still aching for more of his touch. The room felt smaller suddenly, the air thick with everything neither of us had said in three weeks, with everything we were clearly about to.

"You’ve been gone three weeks," I said, gripping the wall behind me, needing something solid. "Three weeks, Jaxx. Not one message. Not one call. I didn’t know if you were alive or dead, and you want me to dance for you like nothing happened?"

"I was busy," he said, unbothered. "And I’m going to touch on that later - how quickly you filled the space. But right now, I want your hips moving to that beat. Three weeks ago you didn’t know how to move for me either. You learned fast. You’ll learn again."

"That’s not... that was different," I breathed, my face heating at the memory of the first time, the night I’d shown up at his door hurt and desperate and asked him for things I’d never asked anyone for. The memory still embarrassed me, how raw I’d been, how little I’d hidden. "That wasn’t supposed to happen."

"It happened," he said. "And you’ve been thinking about it every day since. So have I. Now. Dance."

Then, a vibration, right against my core.

My breath hitched, my legs shaking as a sharp, unexpected pulse sent a jolt of pleasure through me. My fingers clawed at the wall for support, my eyes widening as the sensation intensified, the buzzing heat spreading through me, my thighs clenching involuntarily. For one disoriented second I couldn’t even process what was happening, only that my body had already surrendered before my mind caught up.

"What the fuck, Jaxx?!" I gasped, my voice trembling, my body betraying me as another wave of pleasure rolled through me.

He smirked, lifting something small and black from the couch - a remote. My eyes widened as realization hit me like a punch to the gut.

"I slipped it in when I kissed you," he said, his voice a dark purr, his thumb pressing a button. "Minutes ago. When my fingers brushed your panties. You were too distracted to notice."

I remembered it now... the way his hand had slid lower, the way his touch had lingered at the edge of my lace, the way I’d been too lost in his mouth to think. My face burned, my body trembling as another wave of pleasure crashed over me. "You absolute... you had your hands on me in the dark and you..."

"You liked my hands on you in the dark," he said, lazy and infuriating. "You were whimpering into my mouth. You didn’t ask me to stop once."

"Because you... you... you absolute piece of shit."

"Language, Bambina," he murmured, his thumb pressing the button again.

The speed doubled.

My back arched, a broken moan spilling from my lips as the vibrations sent shocks of pleasure through my core, my fingers digging into the wall. "J-Jaxx... please..."

His smirk deepened, his eyes dark with satisfaction as he watched me, his gaze tracing the way my body trembled, the way my breath hitched, the way my cheeks flushed with heat. There was something almost reverent in the way he looked at me, like he’d been waiting three weeks just for this. "Beg nicely," he said, his voice a dark caress, his thumb hovering over the remote. "Or I’ll turn it up."

"Please," I gasped, hating how fast it came out, hating how much of it I meant. "Please, Jaxx, it’s..."

"Better," he said. "Again."

"Please... turn it down. I can’t think, I can’t..."

"You’re not supposed to think. That’s the point. You’ve been doing too much of it these past weeks... thinking, deciding, letting men named Daniel buy you drinks. No more thinking tonight."

"You’re cruel," I breathed, my legs shaking, my body aching for release, for more, for him.

"And you love it," he said, his voice a growl, his thumb pressing the button again.

The vibrations spiked.

A cry tore from my throat, my body arching, my fingers clawing at the wall as the pleasure consumed me, my vision blurring, my mind spinning. "Jaxx... please..."

He leaned back on the couch, his glass held loosely in his hand, his gaze hooded, his lips curled into a wicked smile. "Dance for me, Bambina," he said, his voice a dark command. "Or I’ll make you scream."

"You’re going to make me scream either way!"

"True," he said, and had the nerve to smile. "But there’s a difference between the kind I give you while you’re standing and the kind I give you when you’re finally behaving."

The vibrations between my legs were relentless, the pleasure so intense it bordered on pain. My breath came in sharp, ragged gasps, my body trembling as I fought to stay upright. My panties were soaked, the wetness a betrayal, a testament to how much my body wanted this... wanted him.

The lace pulsed against my clit with the toy buried inside me, and I could feel my orgasm building, coiling tight in my stomach, my thighs shaking... "Jaxx..." I whispered, my voice trembling. "It’s too much... I’m going to..."

"Ask."

"I hate you."

"Ask anyway."

"Please," I gasped, tears of frustration and need stinging my eyes, my hips rocking helplessly against nothing. "Please let me come, Jaxx. Please. I’ll..."

He watched me come apart with dark, patient eyes, and just as the coil snapped tight, right at the very edge, the vibrations died.

The abrupt absence left me gasping, my body aching, hovering at the edge and abandoned there. I sagged against the wall, my chest heaving, my skin flushed, my core clenching around nothing, so close it hurt. For a moment I almost hated him more for stopping than for starting.

"That’s what Daniel felt like for me," Jaxx said quietly. "Getting close to something that belongs to me. That’s what you made me watch, Elena. Him, leaning into you, thinking about the rest of his night."

"That’s... that’s not the same thing, you can’t just..."

"Can’t I?" He set his glass down. "You looked at his mouth when he talked to you. Don’t lie to me. You look at everyone’s mouth when they talk. You looked at mine for over ten years before you ever did anything about it."

My breath hitched. God, he was right, and he knew he was right, and it was unbearable. I could still remember the words I said to him... ’Jaxx... Please fuck me.’ The memory alone was enough to make my knees weaker than the toy had.

"You’re shaking," he observed, his voice dropping lower. "Your nipples are hard against that dress. And your thighs won’t stop pressing together. And you’re still standing in the dark pretending you have a choice."

"I’m not yours to lay claim on," I said, but it came out breathless, with none of the fight I wanted in it. "We’re not... I’m not... it’s complicated, Jaxx."

"It’s only complicated because you keep complicating it," he said. "We’ll see. Now start."

The lights dimmed, the music shifting to something slower, something sensual, the beat pulsing through the room like a heartbeat. I closed my eyes, my breath steadying as I let the rhythm take over, my body swaying slowly, my fingers trailing up my thighs, my hips rolling in time with the music. It was easier with my eyes closed... easier to pretend I was doing this for myself and not for him, even though I could feel his eyes on me, burning into me, owning me.

"Look at me while you move," he said. "Eyes open, Bambina. I want to see you see me watching."

I opened my eyes. He was exactly where I’d left him, sprawled on the couch, his glass forgotten now, his forearm resting on his knee, his whole body angled toward me like an audience of one. There was a hunger in his face he wasn’t bothering to hide anymore, and something about the sight of it... that restraint, that attention, made my hips slow and deepen without my permission. I had never felt so seen, so entirely the only thing that mattered in a room.

"Good girl," he murmured. "Slower. You’re not dancing for a crowd tonight. There’s only me."

"There’s only ever been you," I snapped, and the words came out more honest than I meant them to.

His eyes flared. "Say that again."

"I said..."

"I heard you." He leaned forward, elbows on his knees. "I just want you to hear yourself say it again."

"I’m not repeating it for your ego, Moretti."

"Then repeat it for mine. Take off the dress."

My fingers found the zipper at the back, the sound sharp in the quiet room. I pulled it down slowly, my body arching as the fabric loosened, my dress slipping down my shoulders, baring my skin inch by inch. The cool air brushed against my heated flesh, my nipples hardening beneath the thin fabric of my bra, and I watched his jaw tighten as the red fabric pooled at my waist, then slid lower.

"Three weeks," he said, his voice rougher now, the lazy composure cracking line by line. "Three weeks since I’ve seen this body. Three weeks since I found out what ten years of wanting actually feels like. I put a man in the hospital for less than what I’m looking at right now. Keep going."

I stepped out of the dress, leaving it on the floor, my fingers trailing up my stomach, my thighs, my breath hitching as I turned, giving him a view of my nearly bare back, the lace of my panties peeking out from beneath the curve of my ass. The toy shifted inside me as I moved, and a small, helpless sound escaped me that made him exhale hard through his nose.

"Careful, Bambina," he said quietly, his voice strained at the edges for the first time all night. "Keep making sounds like that and this dance ends early."

I turned to face him, my fingers hooking into the straps of my bra. I hesitated for just a second, just long enough to see the way his eyes darkened, the way his fingers dug into his knees, before I let the straps slide down my arms, the lace cupping my breasts before I let it fall to the floor.

His breath hitched.

I could see it... the way his chest rose and fell, the way his gaze traced every inch of me like a brand, the way his fingers twitched like he was fighting the urge to reach for me. My body hummed with the knowledge, my skin flushed, my pulse racing as I hooked my thumbs into the waistband of my panties, my hips swaying as I began to slide them down my thighs.

"Leave them," he said, his voice a dark growl that sent a shiver down my spine.

My fingers stilled, my breath catching as I looked at him, my eyes wide, my body trembling with need. The lace clung to my skin, soaked through, a wet dark patch at the center that we could both see, and there was no pretending anymore, not about any of it.

"Come here," he commanded, his voice rough, his gaze burning into me.

I didn’t hesitate.

I walked toward him, my hips swaying with each step, my body moving to the slow, sultry rhythm of the music, my bare breasts heavy with every breath, his steady stare pinning me in place better than any grip. The dim lights cast shadows across his face, his eyes dark with hunger, his jaw clenched as I stopped in front of him, my body just inches from his knees.

His gaze raked over me, slow and deliberate, from my face to my throat to my chest to the wet lace between my thighs, and back up again, taking his time, making me feel every second of it.

"Sit," he said, his voice a dark command.
