Chapter 1336: Chapter 1336: The Day You Are Willing

He ordered whiskey, high-proof liquor, yet he drank it like water, glass after glass.

Summer Sutton watched him for a while and then said slowly, "Little Ariella is a really good girl. Although she’s in the entertainment industry, she’s different from other actresses. She always keeps her original intentions, isn’t tainted by her environment, and tirelessly chases her dreams, while resisting external temptations. Girls like her are rare these days."

She said a lot about Ariella Sawyer, and Summer Sutton believed that someone as smart as Ryan Walyon would understand the implication of her words.

After speaking, Summer Sutton cautiously observed Ryan Walyon’s reaction.

Ryan Walyon seemed oblivious to whether he was hearing her or not, downing one glass after another.

His face was slightly lowered, and the dim, hazy lights of the bar cast over him, making it hard for Summer Sutton to clearly see his expression.

When it comes to emotions, outsiders can’t really help.

Among her, Ryan Walyon, and Ariella Sawyer, all Summer Sutton could do was make her position clear.

Her affection for Watt Bennet was something Ryan Walyon had always known.

Summer Sutton felt helpless; seeing Ryan Walyon not respond, she chose not to say more.

She called the waiter over, had the whiskey replaced, and calmly said to the waiter, "Please bring us a few low-alcohol cocktails."

"Alright, ma’am." The waiter nodded and left, returning later with six mojitos.

"I’ll join you!" Pushing a glass to Ryan Walyon, Summer Sutton picked up a glass, clinked it with his, and drank.

She wasn’t a strong drinker, but mojitos without much alcohol were manageable for her.

Ryan Walyon lifted his face, unable to resist glancing at her.

"Not busy tonight?"

How could Summer Sutton not be busy?

Tomorrow was the wedding, and with so many guests invited by Watt Bennet, she was leaving him to entertain everyone. He surely couldn’t manage them all alone.

Yet, Summer Sutton chose not to return.

"It’s fine, I’m already here." She finished her drink and raised another glass, clinking it with his, "Whatever you feel like doing tonight, I’ll keep you company!"

Ryan Walyon was clearly surprised by her words. If he remembered correctly, ever since the incident at the last wedding, she had been deliberately avoiding him.

Tonight, it was clear that Summer Sutton had truly let her guard down around him.

"Aren’t you worried something might go wrong with tomorrow’s wedding?" he probed.

"Would you do something?" Summer Sutton didn’t answer his question directly but responded with another question.

Ryan Walyon was silent for a long while after her question, apparently seriously considering it.

After several minutes of quiet, he lifted his face, his lips tugging slightly, and gave her two words, "Don’t worry."

More than forcibly taking her away, he looked forward to the day she willingly left with him.

Summer Sutton watched him quietly, a faint smile rising on her face.

Suddenly, she felt following Ryan Walyon tonight was the right decision. Relationship issues couldn’t be evaded; it was better to face them openly.

Perhaps once everything was clear, he might come to terms with it.

"Let’s not talk about this anymore; you’re a guest here this time, this round is on me!" Raising her glass, Summer Sutton clinked it with his again and asked the waiter to bring a bunch of food for the two of them.
