Chapter 1385 - 1485: Tell Me, His Identity
Chapter 1385: Chapter 1485: Tell Me, His Identity
Bryce Walyon was stunned for a moment and didn’t speak for a long time after that.
His expression wasn’t very shocked, as if he thought what Diana Wood said was perfectly reasonable.
More than hearing that Watt Bennet had come in the morning, he was more surprised by Diana’s guess that Watt was Adrian Walyon.
This made Diana frown.
"Don’t you think it’s strange? Watt came to Dad’s ward! Or, do you know something?" Diana, with her sharp instincts, grabbed his arm and pressed.
"Tell me, do you know Watt’s identity? Tell me, is he Adrian!" She was a bit agitated, tightly grasping Bryce Walyon’s hand as if it was the last lifeline in her life.
"I’m his biological mother, I won’t harm him! Tell me! If you don’t let me know, today it’s Dad, tomorrow it could be me!" As she spoke, her eyes reddened.
Her voice was slightly loud, and the old man’s hand on the bed moved slightly after her words.
Diana didn’t notice, still holding onto Bryce’s arm, pressing further, "Adrian might still be alive, right? Is that it?"
One question after another, she pressed on.
Until the old man’s eyelids trembled, and his closed eyes suddenly opened.
The movement startled Diana.
Diana stared dumbly at the awakened old man, almost forgetting to react.
She just stood there staring at the old man for a while, and then came to her senses, instantly cheering up, "Dad, you finally woke up! You finally woke up!"
Excitedly letting go of Bryce’s hand, pausing the topic of Watt’s identity, she turned to take care of Old Master Walyon, "Dad, are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere? Tell me if you want something to eat or drink! I’ll call the Doctor for you right away!"
The old man appeared not to hear her, just stared fixedly at her.
His face was serious, and with his dry lips, he asked word by word, "Is it that young man named Watt?"
He evidently heard everything, and he evidently guessed everything.
He also thought Watt resembled Adrian Walyon, didn’t he?
Having watched his grandson grow up, as a grandfather, could he possibly not feel anything at all?
His condition had worsened to this point; for the current Old Master, hope was the most important.
With hope, there’s a chance to keep living, and the condition might improve.
Diana had actually never confirmed Watt’s identity, but she nodded, "Yes, at six this morning, when I was about to leave, I ran into him outside the door, looking like he hadn’t slept all night, so he must have been here last night too."
Honestly, Diana explained the situation she encountered in the morning.
Bryce turned his head slightly, subtly observing the old man’s reaction.
The old man seemed to be listening to Diana very seriously.
Hearing her finish, it was as if a heavy burden was finally lifted off his shoulders, and he breathed a long sigh of relief.
If Diana wasn’t seeing things and mistaken, then there’s an eighty percent chance that Adrian was still alive!
His grandson, the dearest to him since birth, still had the possibility of being alive!
"Bryce, secretly investigate the plane accident from back then," the old man calmly instructed Bryce.
"Alright, Dad." Bryce agreed to the task.
Knowing Adrian was still alive was more useful than any medical equipment; the old man instantly regained his spirits.
"No more hospital stay, what staying? I’m perfectly fine now!" Removing the tubes from his hand, he got out of bed, ready to go home just like that.
